I wrote that commerical. We talked about it last year, where I apologized to Superstar. It was very much like the "Agnes" gimmick, everybody was running with the joke and it kept going and going until everybody let off steam at the beginning of last year.

Eh, I see where you're coming from, but there's also a difference between a generic "your mom" joke and a parody of someone's real life girlfriend.

 

That "mom" could have been anyone's mom.

However, I don't really find a problem with running a parody of Popick alone. It's like Positively Kanyon.

I just don't understand why Popick is so angry. Nothing Superstar, I or even MarioLogan is actually true, and we're not trying to pass it off as such. If anyone actually believed that Frank Stallone is sleeping with Popick's fiance then they're crazy and should be in a mental asylum. Hell, I know NOTHING about BPP's real fiance. The girl I was writing about was a fictional woman. That's it.

 

Same with Schaeffer. I believe he's a proffesor in real life. In our storyline, he's a priest. Why? BECAUSE IT'S NOT ACTUALLY THE REAL SCHAEFFER! That's right. We DIDN'T hire the real Schaeffer to come and play a character on this internet wrestling message board e-federation. Hard to believe, huh? The only character in our storyline that was actually based off of my knowledge of the person and past events was Poplex himself.

 

Remember a year ago when people were saying they slept with my mom? Did I get this upset over it? No. My mom has serious problems in real life, but I didn't curse out anyone that wrote that because I knew they weren't serious about it. This is no different as far as I'm concerned, and if I'm wrong, which I may be, somebody should explain why it's not the same.

 

Bottom line is if the storyline was even close to reality, I'd understand. But in a storyline with the Green Ranger, Steven Urkel as God, and Frank Stallone, it should be obvious that it's all a work of fiction.

It doesn't have drama, it doesn't have egos (overinflated ones, anyway) and it has a lot of cool, fun people who don't take things too seriously (most of the time). To any oaoasters, if these events are causing you to lose faith in this once-fun e-fed, please consider the SWF if you enjoy writing matches and building storylines from there. A lot of people here like to bring up the ONE TIME there was "drama" in the fed, but hey, a few days later it ended and the fed turned out better off. The SJL is consolidated now, so you're jumping up right into the big leagues. Most importantly, you'll have fun.

Well to put this to rest the Poplex storyline is now DEAD, at least as far as the OAOAST is concerned. I still think that the unedited version of the storyline should be posted in the archives, since, you know, it got a lot of good feedback and it actually happened.

Zack, if you were to break off and do something on your own, I'd actually care enough to contribute. As it is, this kind of stuff is why my interest in the fed dropped off in the first place. After the last few times that crap got stirred (interesting how the participants don't seem to change), I just kind of stopped caring.

I have enjoyed my time with the OAOAST so far. I've enjoyed my time on HeldDown. I've made friends from this, especially Zack and Ken, two guys that I consider good friends. I consider CWM as a friend, as I do Hoff, Sly and Papacita. Supes and I get along well too. FrigidSoul, from what I can see, you are an OK guy, but I used to have a negative opinion of you, and that was me talking out of my ass. But if everyone continues to fight about this shit, I'm going to take the easy way out and walk, which is what I was going to do after AMIII, until Zack convinced me otherwise.

 

I'm really starting to get sick of this little board feud, this political shit we have. I can't be fucked picking a side, because I hate stepping on toes. I'd be very fucking interested to see what Dames thinks of all this. I wouldn't be surprised if he saw it, and just couldn't be fucked with the whole thing, and closed the folder down all together, ebcause everyone is fighting about it, and it isn't going anywhere. If Zack forms an efed, Id be the first person to join it. I value his leadership over any one elses in the OAOAST, and thats a fact.
