snuffbox 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 I respect Elway as much as the next guy....but did you ever watch any of his '80s SuperBowl games? Not so good.... You could say the same for many of Favre's games in domes. -=Mike He had one Superbowl in a dome...that turned out pretty well for him, iirc

I'm probably the biggest Favre backer on the board, but he was not as good as Elway. Whatever problems he had in the Super Bowls in the 80s, he redeemed himself by his performances in Super Bowls XXXII & XXXIII. Alot of you are definitely underrating Favre too. Yes, he plays poor in domes quite often (although he had no trouble winning @ MIN this year) but he did win the Super Bowl in one and his other accomplishments more than make up for it. No player currently in the NFL is more valuable to his team than Brett Favre. Dan Marino had his fair share of bad games too.

He redeemed himself by handing the ball to Terrell Davis over and over again? Sorry, I'll admit I'm biased. I hate Elway. (Browns fan)
