Downhome 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 DH: I must have missed the part where Eddie is a monster heel and Shelton is a worthless midcarder who has had a dozen failed big pushes and has no real future. Then I must have missed the part where Eddie is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion who is on the way to main even the biggest PPV in the history of WWE to take on Kurt Angle. Shelton, here lately, has been less focused on than someone like Billy Gunn anyway. Hell, he just started getting back on TV in the past two weeks or so. Like I said, I love that they faced off and it was a good match, but it's pretty much the exact same thing. Eddie also basicly no-sold Shelton at the end of the match and "hulked up" after a punch, OMG!!! Not to mention that his match wasn't even the last match on the card. They are just screwing up this Eddie push, wow.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 Why can't Bradshaw walk out, instead of Lesnar? Because WWE keeps him supplied with beer and young rookies with sweet asses.

Aside from that, why would you give Billy Gunn nearly ten minutes with anyone?

Downhome 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 In all seriousness, why in the world wasn't the Eddie match last instead of that very crappy tag match!? Even I (for real) have a problem with that.

Even I (for real) have a problem with that. *shrug* maybe it is a test to see how Eddie as champ actually draws ratings. Since the end of the show usually draws the highest ratings anyway. Or maybe they know he draws, so they want to spread him out a bit to draw the most over the show. Hell, I'm taking a stab in the dark here, at least.

You know, I've never even thought of that point before. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's exactly what they are doing. I was just going to chalk it up to them "fucking up". Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 Quick note...the title belt behind the "Off The Hook Pain" sign is me! Did you BRING that with you to a WWE show? Yes. HA HA HA!!! I bet you'd also wear the shirt for a band at THEIR OWN concert!.... don't be that guy... This reminds me of the days leading to last year's Mania, as I saw a guy walking along with a WWF Championship over his shoulder thinking he was king shit of the universe. My Mom looked at me and said, "You know, that's the kind of thing you take to a wrestling show, but not what you wear around outside the wrestling show." Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 Wow...4 pages. WMXX is so tanking. UYI SD threads always suck compared to Raw threads. Everyone using satellite dishes nationwide gets the East Coast feed of Raw, while we're all stuck with our local UPN station to deliver it right on time at 8PM in our own time zone. This means that the only people posting to the O&O thread are the real east coasters.
