Yeah, they really need to up the releases to bi-annual. While I really don't care about anything after season 7 or 8 I still intend to have the whole series and I want that before the next medium gets here.

Lucky Canadian Bastards. I'm working my ass off in the states to buy these DVD's, and all they need is to collect change on the street for 5 minutes.

Gentlemen...I'm calling a Canadian Road Trip. We take our American dollars into Winsor, lose half of them at the casino, and spend the rest on underpriced DVDs

Anyway, back on topic. The Monorail and Whacking Day episodes are two of the best ever

*does happy dance* but yeah...they so need to speed things up, even if they released one every six months it'd take like 6 years to get seasons 5-15 out, but if they keep up the once a year scheduale, it'll be 12 years, and that's just up to season 15, christ, I'll be 35 :x

usually department stores like Frys and Best Buy will automatically have dvd sets on sale for at least $10 off retail prices for the first week. Kind of like a "buy NOW and save" type deal. I remember the Alien box set was $90, but for some odd reason Frys brought it down to $50 for awhile. That is when I snatched it up.

On a much more important note:

Who's the Boss? - Season 1 in June

Columbia TriStar will release the first season of Who's The Boss on June 8th. Details are slim right now, but we can tell you the set will include all 22 episodes from the 84-85 season, as well as some featurettes contains the funniest moments from various characters.

The show is probably best known for launching the career of Alyssa Milano, but it also starred Tony Danza, Judith Light, Katherine Helmond and Danny Pintauro.

We'll keep you informed of any new developments in the title, including the full specs and pricing when they're available.

What the discs really need are some better extras. Of course I figure they dont feel that compelled to include a lot of extras since they have so many seasons to go and they know a good number of people will buy them extras or not.

Break out the Kwik-E-Mart Squishies and pull up a couch -- on June 15, 2004, "THE SIMPSONS" SEASON FOUR DVD COLLECTION debuts from Fox Home Entertainment.

This means jack shit. After all, all three previous sets were "promised" to be release in May-June but as usual Fox fucked everyone over like gangbusters and kept pushing the dates back by four-five months tops.

So them saying Season 4 will be out on June 15 is in truth them saying "S4 will be out five months AFTER we say it will be out".

The least Fox could do is copy and modify what WB does for Friends: release a season themed, bareboned "best of season X" disc at the start of the year and then release the actual season set in November/December so that they will have all FUCKING YEAR to get the sets put together....

Is there going to be Conan O'Brien commentary on some of the episodes he wrote?

Like most questions in life, the answer to that can be found within one of my columns.

As for the people complaining that they're making the sets too slow, I gave my feelings on that in the aforementioned column, but I think if they actually come through with a June release, complaints will have to subside somewhat, since it'll at least be 10 months after the release of Season 3 and not 12. Of course, FOX has a habit of pushing the release date back like someone's already noted, but I'll put a little faith into them this time around and believe the date given.
