IWD 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2004 To be honest I got the impression that it's back to stay now. The ceremony itself was well-handled, after all. I'll agree that Hogan is a possibility, I should have mentioned that to be honest. Theoretically Savage is too, as he's burnt less bridges than Hogan. NYU 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2004 Yeah, I doubt they'll be having a Hall of Fame next year. I wouldn't be surprised if they saved the next HoF induction for WrestleMania XXV, which is the next landmark show. However, the next Hall of Fame induction ceremony they do, I'm almost certain they'll pull out another publicity-begging moment and induct Lawrence Taylor into their "Celebrity Hall of Fame." Mr. T should have been the first "Celebrity" inductee to the Hall Of Fame, if you ask me. Funny thought...them inducting both Savage and Hogan on the same night. Savage aint too popular either within the WWE...I'd say Hogan is more likely than Savage. But more likely than not it'll be forgotten till WM30.

The Buzz 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2004 Since WWE owns WCW, anyone think its possible that down the road guys like Ric Flair, Sting, Ricky Steamboat, etc. Who made their names in the NWA/WCW will be inducted into the hall of fame. Or are they just screwed?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 15, 2004 well...Harley Race got in last nite. So that means NWA made stars would be invited to join...Race certaintly wasn't inducted for those two weak years he spent with the KING gimmick.

Guest NANIWA* Report post Posted March 16, 2004 IMO, it depends on how the WWE is doing it. If it's just stars based on their WWE careers, then I wouldn't include people like Flair, Steamboat, or Dusty Rhodes until later down the line. I think, people like Savage, Hogan, Warrior, and the Hart Family deserve to be inducted over the NWA guys based on the fact that most of the former had only minor success in their WWF runs, and their better known for their careers in the NWA/WCW then anything they did in the WWF, maybe sans Steamboat...
