The Mysterious One’s Take On The Smart Marks: OAOAST Drama Past and Present.

 

 

It is I, The Mysterious One, once again bringing you the shit at TSM. After all of the recent “drama” involving the OAOAST, I thought it would be interesting to Delve into the past of the OAOAST. In my research I found over THIRTY “drama” threads. I’ve selected the best and most relevant for this article and I will do my best to explain things to you all. Please remember that many of these threads are old and have posts missing from them due to the different board updates. Something that CWM and Chokun One are still whining about like little bitches.

 

In the beginning there was One And Only Anglesault Thread

Founded by CWM as a feeble attempt at a joke it quickly blossomed into a thread where Anglesault and TrebleCharged engaged in a flame war. While TrebleCharged made intelligent well reasoned posts, Anglesault responded with the ultimate weapon…emoticons. Treble was obviously outmatched and soon gave up on ever making Anglesault realize that everyone hated him (Something people are still trying to tell him.)

 

In time the thread became a battle royal type thread and eventually a full fledged efed with two weekly TV shows and a monthly ppv. This didn’t go over so well with many of the original members who liked the spontaneity of the original OAOAST. The main proponents of that style were CWM, Superstar, Angleplex, Alfdogg, Caboose, Big Mclargehuge, Some Guy,e venflowddt and Sandman9000. Popick, Tony149, Zack Malibu, and Spiderpoet led the “modernists”.

 

At first things between the two factions were fine, both sides were content to do their own thing but eventually the opposing viewpoints started to but heads. One day The Superstar posted this thread: Innocent Start To The DramaFrom that point on tensions began to rise and the OAOAST stopped being a happy little efed. Eventually things got to the point where the founder of the efed Cobainwasmurdered quit. CWM had had enough of Popick’s and others actions.

 

CWM Quits Leaves Obvious Joke Alone #4414141 (..Oh I geuss I didn't)

 

CWM was angered because Popick, Anglesault, and Tony149 were treating his close friends Superstar and Angleplex as complete and utter jokes. CWM’s actions led to the greatest OAOAST moment ever…he made Popick cry:

The OAOAST was never the same. From this point on things began to worsen. Many of the old guard such as TheSoleSurvivor, Some Guy, BigMclargeHuge, and Mariologan left the efed bitter and disenchanted with the way things were now being run.

Things once again came to a head when Caboose decided to leave the OAOAST for good. He wanted to go out big so the OAOAST in a questionable move decided to literally kill him off. Popick decided to have Sandman kill Caboose, when questioned Sandman was quoted as saying, “i didn't even know I was going to "kill" him”.

 

Caboose played a Sting type role and made his entrance by lowering from the arena ceiling. On the night in question Popick had Sandman cut Caboose’s cord and fall to his death. Then he had Sandman utter a tasteless Owen Joke where he took responsibility for killing Owen. Unfortunately this segment was completely deleted but we still have the feedback thread for the show:

Caboose quickly followed this up by telling Popick and his faction off and quitting totally.

This was a sad chapter in OAOAST history. Popick had in fact before the Show was posted bragged to CWM (with whom he had gained an uneasy truce) that the mystery of Owen’s death would be solved. His stupid and callous acts caused most of the efed to turn on him. So Popick got desperate:

Zack Malibu had missed much of the drama and when he returned voiced his feelings: Zack on Caboose Drama

 

After this drama things began to deteriorate faster and faster for the OAOAST.

 

Superstar had left the efed after being involved in some major Popick bashing. So he created another posted named: Undisputed. He used this character because he felt that as Superstar he wasn’t getting pushed because of certain people’s biasis against him…turned out he was right: Supes Continues teh drama (First Drama}

 

When he admitted to being Undisputed he angered some people, chiefly Spiderpoet, with whom this writer has no beef with whatsoever: Spiderpoet's fling with Drama

 

Superstar was not the only one unhappy about how he was treated. Angleplex had been with the efed since near the start but he had been the biggest joke in the efed. He was treated like shit and made to job like a bitch despite his contributions. So he quit:

People seemed to believe that after Angleplex’s departure that things would settle down but there was one more OAOAST member who was unhappy: Sandman9000

Sandman was friends with all of the posters who had quit and wanted to solve things. Unfortunetly this was not to be and when things didn’t improve he also quit:

Things soon settled down. After a few months CWM agreed to return as did Superstar, Caboose, and to an extent Angleplex. Then the current drama hit:

The OAOAST was once again torn apart into opposing camps and feuds started to bubble to the surface. FrigidSoul who went about stirring up Drama and lying to mods and members via PM’s did not help things. His actions have led many to believe that he is either a PBP or a fucking idiot…either works. Frigidsoul wanted to start a OAOAPT with Angleplex as a figurehead. So he founded this board: http://www.shootproject.net/snkt/apf/index.php?act=idx

 

Real great stuff eh? The fact that Angleplex hasn’t posted there ONCE hasn’t registered with good ol’ FS. Nor the fact that no one gives two shits about him.

 

The lesson here is that people take EFED’S too fucking serious. Efed’s are supposed to be a relaxation. People join them not to argue and play politics but to have fun. But for some reason that just doesn’t happen. It seems every efed has a few men who want to control everything, who seek to dominant and be in charge and thus ruin other people’s fun. Here is my view on the men I think have ruined the OAOAST:

 

Cobainwasmurdered: He started the efed and when the drama started to develop instead of trying to solve things he sat back and let Popick and Tony149 take control. A true dumbass or as he’d say a “Rue ssadmud~!!11”.

 

Tony149: Tony was invited to appear on a OAOAST show as a thank you for his help in getting the OAOAST space in the General Chat folder way back when. But he quickly assumed control as a (and eventually THE) head booker. His obsession with organizing everything took much of the spontaneity out of the efed which was the main reason so many people joined. He meant well but as they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

 

Anglesault: Does jack for writing or anything else but yet gets to be top of the card because he was the namesake of the efed. Never mind the talented writers who give up and join the SWF where you get placed where you’re writing ability places you.

 

Stephen Popick: Where to start? The “man” was only allowed to become a booker because no one else wanted the job (and CWM asked EVERYONE). His need to be booked over others and his poor treatment of the posters who came before led directly to almost all of the drama that would happen. He had the balls to whine about Angleplex and Superstar’s parody of his COUGHfictionalCOUGH fiancée but yet was just fine with Writing something without Sandman’s knowledge where Sandman took responsibility for Owen Hart’s death. That was truly “Unfucking called for.”. Not only did he do all this but also any time someone criticized him he edited the post, deleted it or closed the thread. How insecure do you have to be? Add to all of that his constant bragging about “Saving the board”. God good man, I’d have lent Dames the money if he asked, so would have 50 others. You did a nice thing but shut up already. Doing that doesn’t mean you should get preferential treatment. YOU SUCK. You try to act cool but you’re a fucking computer nerd. YOU CRIED WHEN SOMEONE CALLED YOU NAMES ON THE INTERNET!
