Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 Guerrero/Big Show has been headlining SD house shows. Is this a sign of a main event program to come, or is it just to kill time until the draft or until they figure out something better?
clean rob Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 Possibly. Who knows what the draft will do to plans for Eddy's next feud. To be honest, I think Eddy may well have been taking on Big Show at house shows because he is the only established main eventer they have available.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 If Eddy and Show stay on SmackDown!, then I can see them possibly headlining Judgment Day. Show was carried at last year's Judgment Day, why not this year? Similar to the way that Brock Lesnar VS The Undertaker headlined No Mercy for two consecutive years. Noone seemed to give a shit about that except me.
Aero Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 Show was carried at last year's Judgment Day, why not this year? Because he sucks as a main eventer? I don't think Eddie did a very good job of "carrying" Show at No Mercy, either.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 Not considering the Draft, who else can shoot for the WWE Championship right now, in the upper/upper-mid card Division? Brock's gone, Kurt's out... Hmmm... Would WWE have done the right thing?

With the draft, there's obviously tons of possibilities from Raw.

I don't think Eddie did a very good job of "carrying" Show at No Mercy, either. That was as much bookings fault as Eddie or Show's. It was booked like a really bad match and it was a really bad match. Show's been damn good lately on the mic and decent in the ring so I got no problem with him feuding with Eddie.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 Aero, I forgot about John Cena. I keep on fucking forgetting about him. Still not taking the Draft into consideration, I doubt that he'd be getting a shot, unless he drops the U.S. Championship, which would be perfect on the new SmackDown!, but I can't see him losing it just yet.
The Mandarin Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 Hopefully they don't feud over bathroom hijinks again.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 Yeah, that was just fucking retarded - demoted the feud a great deal. But the WWE's intention was to probably get Orlando Jordan over. "Just a little bit." Did it work?
Guest Anglesault Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 Since about January, when it became obvious that Eddie was winning the belt, Show has really been the only Smackdown option for post Mania. It would be early for Brock again and they obviously couldn't continue the Kurt program, so Show, as number 3 heel, was the best bet. With Lesnar leaving and Angle getting hurt, it made it even more obvious until the news of the lottery screws everything up.
Guest Vitamin X Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 I can see RVD coming over to SD! and feuding with Guerrero... anyone remember those days? *sighs dreamily*
Nighthawk Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 I've got tickets to a Smackdown house show next Sunday and Eddie and Show are advertised as being there. So I guess that means they're staying.
Lil' Bitch Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 If Eddy and Show stay on SmackDown!, then I can see them possibly headlining Judgment Day. *starts praying
Guest JMA Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 I think a feud between Eddie and Big Show would be a great idea. Show was the one who took the US title from him. Eddie has never really beaten Show one-on-one in a televised match. Show could even say something like, "I beat you and took your title once. Now I'm going to do it again." It could be really good if done properly. Of course, Taker may want to feud with Show; seeing as he'll need to squash a monster heel to get his character over.
Guest Brian Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 I thought they were moving towards Undertaker v. Eddy?
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 The Undertaker VS Eddy would suck because there's no doubt as to who would go over. I can see RVD coming over to SD! and feuding with Guerrero... anyone remember those days? *sighs dreamily* I remember their match on the Sunday Night Heat before Judgment Day 2002.
