kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 Why did you have to do community service? Uh, because I'm a nice person. Is that so freaking hard to believe? Actually, I had to perform community service in high school as a bullshit graduation requirement. My HFH excursion wasn't for that though -- I pulled weeds for some church for six hours in order to graduate Hampton High School. I did HFH because some chick running some outreach program at my college told me it would be fun -- lying bitch... How many hours did you have to do? Ours is making us do 50 50!?! Jesus. We only had to do 6 (I think -- this was back in '94). My HFH was on my own though -- think of if as my good deed for the decade...
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted March 23, 2004 Geez, Carter really is a horrible person, isn't he? He talks about human rights, but coddles up to dictators in a way that even Republicans would blush about. -=Mike ...Then again, the int'l left hasn't given a damn about human rights for decades now

Democracy America etc. Actually, he doesn't tend to give a dang about democracy (see support for Palestine, support for Ortega). -=Mike

JangoFett4Hire 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 I thought the whole point of the Iraq War is because Dubya and Crue just KNEW that WMD's were sprouting up like dandelions in the Iraqi desert. Over a year later, and we have yet to find so much as a discarded hazmat barrel. I seem to remember Colin Powell lecturing the UN with these fancy charts and graphs pinpointing large caches of weapons, but they have yet to be found. Face it, Bush lied. Oh, and Osama's still out there too, right?

Nice that you only pollute these boards on rare occasion. -=Mike
