Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 For those too lazy to click the link... (INDIANAPOLIS, March 23rd, 2004, 11 a.m.) -- Police were seeking the parents of a 4-year-old boy Tuesday after authorities said the child brought crack cocaine worth up to $10,000 to his preschool class. Police said the boy took rocks of crack cocaine out of his backpack Monday and showed them to other children in his Head Start class on the city's near-northside, saying the drugs were flour. Teachers realized it was cocaine and called authorities. Police estimated the backpack contained about 370 "rocks," or doses of the drug. "This could have killed these kids," said Indianapolis police Sgt. Roger Tuchek. "A lot of kids were put at risk." The estimated value of the cocaine was between $7,500 and $10,000, Tuchek said, adding that it was the second-most he'd ever seen on one person at one time. Authorities investigating the case Tuesday were seeking the child's parents, Kenneth Lee Green, 24, and Andrea D. Jackson, 23. Jackson was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court, court records showed. Green had past convictions for carrying a firearm without a license, resisting law enforcement and marijuana possession. The boy and his sister were placed in protective custody. Police still were seeking the boy's 11-month-old sibling. Tuchek said child welfare workers were investigating allegations of child abuse against the parents. Other parents who picked up their children at the Head Start class Monday were startled by the police presence. "This is a real good school, so something like this is very unusual," said David Lewis, 36. "I'm thinking the child just picked up the wrong backpack and the parents didn't notice."
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 what? you expect the kid to leave his stash at home unwatched?
Guest Vitamin X Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 and the beauty of it was he pinned it all on his parents! muahaha
nl5xsk1 Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 The police are full of shit ... $10,000.00?!? A rock of crack costs like $10-20 tops, and by that math, the kid would have had to have brought up to ONE THOUSAND rocks to school. How fucking big would his backpack have to be?!? I think maybe the value of the cocaine (by weight) could have been $10k, but not the value of the coke in crack-form. But saying that the kid brought $3,750.00 worth of crack to school doesn't sound as glamorous, does it??
TSA09 Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 I believe I heard a story yesterday about another young kid bring weed to school and sprinkling it over his lunch food and other kids food because he thought it was oregano.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Knowing young kids, it probably was oregano. Older brother probably sold it to him.
