razazteca 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 If Jermaine O'Neal's injury is serious than I can see the Pacers drop a few spots if not out of the top 10. And I must say that the Detroit Wallace duo should be feared by all in the league.
The Electrifyer 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Detroit is seriously frightening ever since they got Rasheed. They hold there opponents to like 70 ppg and win by almost 20 ppg. I want to see how they fair against some of the Western powerhouses now.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 I want to see the Detroit Wallaces vs Dallas Antwains. If the Pistons can keep the Mavs under 70 then I will be impressed. I think the Rockets with Yao, Cato, Taylor can give the Pistons a good game also.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2004 The thing is, its alot more than just the frount line. When you have the Wallace's up frount, the guards get to run around with their arms flaling about like psychos causeing turnovers in the back court. It is something to watch now really. Agressive D...and not the Bruce Bowen "elbow you in the throat when the ref isn't looking" kind.

Bruce Bowen is not that bad, in the Lakers vs Kings game Karl Malone slaps players in the face while attempting steals. Also Karl enjoys swinging elbows when going for rebounds. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 26, 2004 So what are the Power Rankings going to be now that the Lakers spanked the Kings? If they beat Minnesota tommorrow night, there will be much rejoicing in my house.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2004 DETROIT WHAT! I seriously think they stand a shot this season. The Wallaces can be dominating together. And when's it all said and done all you have to do is win 4 of 7 at the end.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2004 Sac and the Pistons both drop 2 since this came out. Looks like LA will be #1 next week, pending tonight's result against the Wolves. If they lose, then it *should* be the Pacers in that spot, provided we beat the Magic tonight.

Oh yeah, Bruce isn't the worst, but he is pretty bad. I have no problem with physical d. I have problems with plain illegal D that gets called great(I think of the Knicks guards and their "handcheck" back in the 80's and early 90's). Malone is a very very DIRTY defender and always has been. Johns Stockton...my hero on defense. He is a tricky player, but was never dirty.
