Astro101 Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 As has been widely publicized, TNA Wrestling is unique in that it offers medical insurance to wrestlers on its full-time roster. As a part of this process, TNA required Abyss to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at a local hospital (for reasons that you can probably assume). A bad diagnosis would have been bad news for the monster. Luckily for him, the positive report below was faxed to TNA by an area physician that observed Abyss (who the physician mistakenly refers to as A. Byss) late last month. However, just two days ago, a major news website notified us that they had uncovered a file on Abyss apparently from the same doctor, telling a much different story. After reading the below description, it's hard to believe that it's about the same person. Was the doctor coerced by Jeff Jarrett or Abyss into writing a more favorable description? Or did he just change his mind? We'll leave that up to you to figure out. Send your thoughts to [email protected].
