Anyone think Konnan is EVER gonna break away from 3LK? It seems like it's been teased for a while now.

Abyss must have the record for most No Contest finishes in HISTORY.

From reading Keller's report it sounds like a decent show. And they're doing a nice job building title contenders, so that's good too. Hopefully now they get a TV deal...

-Hudson interviewed Jerry Lynn and Elix Skipper backstage. Skipper said he doesn't care who they face in the next America's Cup. Lynn said they should just put the teams from Canada, Mexico, UK, and the NWA all together at once. Lynn said he'd fight an NWA teammate in an X Title match. Scott D'Amore walked in and said Team Canada's Petey Williams is going to win the six-way match tonight in the main event to become no. 1 contender for the X Title. He said he expects Lynn to choke like all Americans do. Lynn gloated that Team Canada wasn't drinking out of the X Cup. D'Amore tried to stir trouble between Lynn and Skipper.

-West plugged the NWATNA.com website for info on the upcoming training challenge. He said it will take place Apr. 12-13. Tenay said next week they'd show extended footage of Jarrett's NWA Title defense in Mexico. A brief clip aired of Jarrett heading to the ring and having garbage thrown at him. They announced Brown vs. Sabu for next week. The ref stepped up and said something that the mics somehow didn't pick up, but West reiterrated that next week would feature a four-way match to earn a match against Harris to then earn a title shot. He said Sting would be the special enforcer referee. Tenay and West raved about the four-way match scheduled for next week.

-Hudson interviewed Chris Harris. He thanked James Storm for his support. He said he may not have won the title last week, but he has a whole lot of pride that he proved last week he has the heart and desire to be champ. He said after the feeling he had last week, he doesn't care who comes out of the fatal four-way match, he'll go through whatever he has to in order to face Jarrett in the cage. He said Russo told him something interesting recently. He promised him that at the end of this story he would have everything he ever dreamed of. Harris said the final chapter would be his cage title victory over Jarrett.

I haven't watched TNA in MONTHS...

Maybe I'll have to watch a few shows if they're starting to pick things up again.

Seems like the last few weeks TNA has been building shows around the actua wrestling than storylines.

Plus the World Title situation seems to be booked right for one of the rare occasions it is.

I think it's all coming from them trying to impress Fox Sports Net, and I'm not complaining. :)

I only have one complaint....the god damn No Contests they pull almost every week in important matches.

Only when Abyss is wrestling. ;)

Yeah, that's true...though it's not as bad as 98-99 WWF or 97-98 WCW. :)

And Vince Russo came back...coincidence?

I don't like him but TNA is always hot when he's there.

I just wish he were behind the scenes instead of on-screen.

Russo is tolerable as long as he isn't booked into actual matches (ESPECIALLY Main Events)

6 -- FRANKIE KAZARIAN vs. NOSAWA vs. PETEY WILLIAMS vs. ELIX SKIPPER vs. JERRY LYNN vs. AMAZING RED

Skipper and Kazarian began against each other. Williams and Lynn both tagged in at 1:45. Red tagged in against Williams at 2:15. Red hit Williams with a nice full revolution DDT. Williams tagged in Nosawa and Red tagged in Lynn. Chaos broke out at 2:00 with four wrestlers in the ring brawling. Skipper overhead suplexed Williams onto the top rope and then followed up with a legdrop. Kazarian promptly went after Skipper, throwing him over the top rope and then diving onto him at ringside. Red followed up with a dive onto both at ringside. Lynn caught a charging Nosawa with a clothesline to stop him from diving. Lynn then cradle piledrove Nosaa at 5:37 for the first elimination. Williams head scissored Lynn over the top rope, but Lynn brought Williams over with him. Skipper walked the top rope and took Kazarian off the top rope with a head scissors. Red then dove onto Skipper in the ring. Lynn slidekicked Red into the announcers' table. In the ring, Kazarian pinned Skipper at 7:20, but the camera missed it. In the ring Red dropkicked Williams and Kazarian. Lynn and Red covered both for simultaneous two counts. Lynn gave Williams a TKO, but Kazarian jumped in. Lynn kicked him in hte gut. Kazarian backdropped Lynn. Lynn then gave Kazarian an Impact DDT for a near fall. Lynn went for a sunset flip on Kazarian, but Kazarian sat down on Lynn and then Williams held his hands for extra leverage to score the three count on Lynn at 9:35. Williams scored a two count on Red. Kazarian suplexed Red, then tagged in Williams. Kazarian and Williams double-teamed Red with a variety of moves that Tenay didn't know the names of. Kazarian turned on a celebrating Williams and eliminated him quickly at 11:20. That left Red vs. Kazarian. Red scored a very near fall on Kazarian. He followed up with a standing shooting star press and scored the pin.

WINNER: Red at 12:15 to become the no. 1 contender for the X Title.

STAR RATING: *** -- Some nice moves, but a bit too short for that many wrestlers to really develop a believable internal storyline for the match in beleivable fashion.

-They cut to the back where the wrestlers involved in next week's four-way main event had a pullapart brawl.

Russo IMPROVING TNA shows? I never thought I'd be posting that, but despite the main-event being too short, I think TNA has improved somewhat over the past few weeks.

Too bad the Jarretts' are being assholes about AJ Styles' ROH relationship, though.

Kid Kash's partner was not masked, and so I have no clue who the hell he is. Kinda looks like Kash but on roids and 5-6 inches taller.

Edit: Make that about a foot taller.

Maybe it was Alan Funk?

How tall is he?

Easily 6'6"-6'7". Maybe taller, but Kash being only 5'8" makes it hard to tell.

Good show tonight. I'm very psyched about the main event scene in TNA. Raven, Styles, Killings, Abyss, Harris, Jarrett...this is what the belt's supposed to mean instead of Jarrett just holding it for "power" or whatever.

A few points:

1. It wasn't Alan Funk. I don't know who it was, but it wasn't Funk. He wasn't bad though.

2. I like the Naturals. I think they're pretty interesting. Where have they been the last year? They've been wrestling in Nashville, but TNA could't use them? They'd rather pay Konan and BG James $1,000 each a week when they probably could get the Naturals for $200 a week? They're exactly the type of wrestlers that the company should be building with.

3. I think next week will be another no contest and that they're building to a 6-way for the title in the cage with Truth, AJ, Raven, Harris, Abyss, and Jarrett.

4. There's no excuse for AJ Styles not wrestling on ppv every single week. However, I now will go out of my way to watch him on xplosion.

5. I think they're starting to move in the right direction, but this will be the 5th time I've thought that. Hopefully this time 4 months of bad shows won't follow.

Yeah that is getting old, as well as the incompetancy of the roles of the refereees. In two straight matches last night the way they were distracted and subsequently then that distraction costed the babyface the matches is so old I cant even explain it. The Siaki-Diamond match in particular was bad with the ref going over to Diamond to check on him forever when Diamond wasnt even hurt or beat down in the first place.

I wish TNA would take a play from WWE currently in that they are making the refs more respected and not just a bunch of idiots that get distracted easily and dont see things coming. Another thing that I'm sick of, and this is a play on how WWE made their refs in the late 90s or so, is that they overdo the "guy pulls ref out of the ring at the last minute before the 3 count" deal. So sick of that too.

Overall the show was alright last night though, I see it as a build to a bigger show in about 3-4 weeks. So in that sense they are back to building to one big show with the Cage match and probably tag tourney finals, as well as Red v. Sabin. THAT I dont like since every week should be considered a dont miss ppv.

Also don't forget the big issue for most fans...

Pros: The shows have been showcasing more wrestling than before. I'm surprised almost every match was 10:00 plus.

Cons: As noted, they usually build to bigger shows. This isn't a problem to me, because $33.95 a month is not a bad deal for a months worth of shows. (the 4th PPV in a row is 3.95 I believe)

Was I the only one who saw a fucking Shooting Star Piledriver in the X match by Petey on Red? Any one else see that?

I think I saw that too but I was getting tired (almost midnght) and I'd been up all day.

Red still does a sweet standing star press.
