I just bought and watched the first ROH DVD from Suncoast today and I was thinking... as a general rule triple threat matches tend to suck. One guy usually has to find somewhere to lay and play dead--usually from a weak attack--while the other two wrestle. Are there any matches that can find a way to get around this problem and still find a way to be good.

The only one I can think of is the triple threat from the above mentioned DVD. Other than, maybe, one spot Low-Ki, Danielson, & Daniels did a really good job of keeping all three wrestlers in the match.

The triple threats from Vengance '03 and WMXX are heavily pimped for the most part but I thought they sucked for the most part.

Well, the triple threat match from Vengeance 2002 (Angle / Rock / Undertaker) was pretty damn good, IMO.

Juventud / Mysterio / Kidman from Starrcade 98 I liked a lot too.

Edit: Shit! How could I have forgotten about DDP / Benoit / Raven? >_<

Hmmm, my favourites are

Benoit/Jericho/Angle -- They had to fit 3 falls in a short amount of time but still given what they were working with nobody could've done a better job.

Benoit/Michaels/HHH -- WMXX

Benoit/Angle/Rey

Undertaker/Angle/Rock

Lo-Ki/Daniels/American Dragon

Yeah, these matches, the Vengeance match, and Raven/Benoit/DDP from WCW are my picks.

My personal favorite is Sting/Flair/Luger at Cade 95.

WM20 is in second with Benoit/Angle/Rey.

Sting/Luger/Flair was a TRIANGLE match...

Different concept.

It was along the lines of a TAG TEAM match only with three singles workers instead.

I can't believe nobody mentioned Ki vs. Styles vs. Lynn from TNA 8-7-02 I think. That's probably my third favorite with Ki/Daniels/Dragon my first favorite and the WMXX match my second favorite.
