Guest Choken One Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 two ****1/2 matches and a ***3/4 Cage match was good enough for me...
snuffbox Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 The main event would have been ***** without the Dustyfinish, imo... I called the cage match ****, with bonus points galore for the Fatass Superfly Cage Dive... The TAKER>angle match was bullshit... I have no qualms with HHH going over in the last man standing match, that was some good shit there...
chaosrage Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 1. Wrestlemania X7 2. Wrestlemania XX 3. Canadian Stampede 4. Summerslam02 5. Wrestlemania X
Kahran Ramsus Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 1. Wrestlemania X-7 2. Wrestlemania XX 3. Canadian Stampede 4. Royal Rumble 2000 5. Judgment Day 2000
Guest Choken One Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 1. Wrestlemania X7 2. Wrestlemania XX 3. Canadian Stampede 4. Summerslam02 5. Wrestlemania X why is X on here? two ***** matches and 6 *-** matches...the idea here is COMPLETNESS.
snuffbox Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 I think two ***** matches on any card should make it a contender for best show ever... Its not my #1 or anything, but I can see how others could include it...

Wrestlemania X why is X on here? two ***** matches and 6 *-** matches...the idea here is COMPLETNESS. Because I'd rather see a PPV with 2 ***** matches than 3 ***-**** matches. (Summerslam98, Summerslam01, Backlash00, Judgment Day00, etc)

Wrestlemania X why is X on here? two ***** matches and 6 *-** matches...the idea here is COMPLETNESS. He may have factored in how influential those two matches were when considering which shows were 'the best'. For me, it's: 1. Wrestlemania XX 2. Wrestlemania X-Seven 3. Royal Rumble 2000 4. One Night Only 5. Survivor Series 1996 (this show doesn't get the props it deserves) I was even considering WM13 for a split second there, as it featured the most influential match of the modern era, however the steaming piles of shit surrounding it bring it way the fuck down. Shame. UYI
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 -Austin-HBK - ****1/2 and the start of a huge era I liked the match too, but it's easily nowhere near ****1/2 though. I would say like ***1/4 at the highest......
Si82 Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 I'd probably got with In Your House: Canadian Stampede. It might have only had four matches but they were all great matches.

I would say like ***1/4 at the highest...... Considering one of them had a all but broken back, and the other's neck was so screwed that they were probably legally disabled, they pulled off a fucking unreal match. I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time. Being a huge HBK mark, I of course wanted Shawn to win, and I think I'm about the only one who did. UYI

UYI How can anyone still like Shawn Michaels from his 1996-98 run? Holding people down like he's Hulk Hogan and basically refusing to job to pretty much anyone.

Because he was the real-life Steve Austin, on and off screen. He was a cocky bastard who knew exactly how good he was. Super Heel HBK from that era is one of the greatest heel characters of all time, hands down. UYI
