The Western Suburbs of Sydney here. And yeah, toilet water kind of just goes down, I never notice it spiralling much.

 

Draining water yes, I've noticed its clockwise nature, but never before have I noticed such a thing with toilets.

I've got a love/hate relationship with Australia. I want to dramatically choke the lager-slogging Ozzie! Ozzie! Ozzie! soccer contingent, but at the same time, is one of the most gorgeous countries I've seen in pictures, and has by far the coolest natives.

Ah yes, the stereotypical Australian is plentiful in this country, but only in certain areas. I can understand your distaste for them, they only tend to get along with other people who share their own traits. The soccer contingent isn't restricted to one sport, you'll find they're like that with most team sports, espically Rugby League and Cricket.

 

The natives here are, by far, the most interesting and diverse people I've ever encountered, however I've not exactly had a great deal of life experience myself, being only 19, so my judgement shouldn't be taken too seriously. I could go into it here but I'd write seven odd paragraphs just trying to detail their culture's depth.

 

Of course, it is particularly depressing to see here in Australia how some of the Aboriginals have been drastically affected by alcoholism, unemployment and drug abuse. These issues have led to a vast generalisation that is exceptionally derogatory and offensive to the good natured people, who have been trying for decades to restore their own culture.

 

Again, far too much to cover here, but they certainly are very interesting people.

Throughout my 15 years, Australia is pretty much that. And regarding Aboriginals drastically affected by alcoholism, unemployment and drug abuse, that truly is sad - but who's fault was it?

 

(And no, I'm not trying to imply that it was theirs). I'm not going to delve into history, but I'm sure that pretty much all of you know the events that occurred.

 

All in all, no wars, lack of land disasters, Stuffed-Crust pizza and beautiful scenery - it's a pretty nice place to live.

My thoughts on australian lager is the same as my thoughts on all beer. A foul-tasting waste of time. If you're drinking alcohol, at least have the common decency to make it hard liquor. I picked out soccer because I hate that sport, and know next to nothing about Cricket or Rugby, aside from them being the hemispheric equivalents of football and baseball, only not at all similar in rules or style of play.
