Pro Wrestling: Revival

Guest Real F'n Show

The world of wrestling will soon change, with rumors flying that Paul Heyman has started up a new wrestling company! "What?" you say, "Isn't Paul Heyman employed by the WWE?" The answer is simple: Not anymore! Vinny Mac has ditched Heyman and signed Vince Russo for more creative advice. Heyman stormed out of the company, reportedly screaming, "You'll be sorry when my new company is kicking your ass Vince!" Heyman told reporters that it won't be the revival of ECW, but a whole new beginning. He went on to say that internet fans make up a large proportion of wrestling fans, along with fans who enjoy good quality wrestling, and good storylines to boot. That's where Pro Wrestling: Revival comes in. Seen by many backers as "the way wrestling would be today if Vince McMahon were never born."

Heyman has acquired plenty of WWE superstars, who left the company when the news spread of Russo's hiring. He has also picked up some of the best wrestling stars from NWA:TNA, and other promotions. At the time we spoke with him, Heyman had signed 30 superstars to contracts already, and was working on finding announcers, referees, and other non-wrestling personalities. He was also in talks with three major television networks about a possible weekly television program, to compete with WWE. USA Netowrk, WGN, and FX are all currently in talks with Heyman. Heyman has yet to release the list of superstars signed, but he did make this comment: "Get ready wrestling fans, because Paul E. is back in the owner's chair, and this time, he won't f*ck up."

Just remember book ALOT of impromtu matches all over the place. If Nova runs in on a match as a face and Simon Diamond a heel. Book an on the spot match. Fill pay per views with these, you'll make MILLIONS.

*sarcasm aside*

Should be interesting to see which of Paul E's traits you use in the booking.

MORE HUGE NEWS FROM PRO WRESTLING: REVIVAL

Earlier today, we reported that Paul Heyman, owner of the brand new wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling: Revival, was close to getting a TV deal. Well it looks as if a deal has been made, with USA Network being the company of Heyman's choosing.

According to the PW:R website, www.prowrestlingrevival.com, USA Network will air two shows a week for a three month testing period. If the shows are successful, a full time TV deal will be inked.

The first of the two shows will be PWR: Disorder, airing Monday nights opposite WWE Raw. This will be PWR's main show, where many of the major angles will be played off, until a PPV deal is reached (one is currently in the works). The live show will run 2 hours and will feature many of the main PWR Superstars, including Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Raven, Chris Jericho, and others. Joey Styles and Don Callis will call the action.

The second show, PWR: Saturday Night, will air opposite WWE Velocity. Much like Velocity, this will be PWR's "B Show", featuring matches of stars who did not compete on that week's Disorder, along with developmental stars that PWR may be looking to sign. Recaps of the Disorder's important events will also be shown. The show will run 1 hour and matches will be taped before that week's Disorder. Joey Styles will host and PWR Superstars that did not make the week's Disorder will be featured.

Both shows will start airing in a few weeks, beginning with Disorder on April 19th.

In other PWR news, the website has announced that in addition to a TV deal, PWR will also have 4 title belts. They are:

The PWR World Title

The most prestigious belt in the company, this is the belt that everyone wants, but only one man can have. Matches for this belt will be very important, and will take place on Disorder main events, and PPV eventually.

The PWR North American Title

The next most prestigious title, the North American strap will be fought for by uppercarders, not quite ready for the big one. The North American Title could very well make you a primary contender for the World Title however, and you can bet many PWR Superstars will be chasing after this one.

The PWR Tag Team Titles

With many great tag teams here in PWR, it is only right to have Tag Team Titles. Some of the best Tag Teams in the world will be competing for these straps, and you can bet that the winners of the belts are definately the best at their style of match.

The PWR X Title

Much like NWA:TNA's X Division Title, the PWR X Title is only for the best Jr. Heavyweights in the world. You can bet that high-flying, hard-hitting action will take place everytime this title is on the line.

Remember to keep checking here or www.prowrestlingrevival.com for frequent updates on the new company, and watch for the first ever PWR Disorder on April 19.

No RVD? You'd think that Heyman would have him on his show.

Thanks for the feedback. RVD isn't really one of my favorite wrestlers, but I might sign him eventually.

BTW, I won't be doing this in real time, so to anyone reading this, you won't have to wait until the 19th, the show will probably be up tomorrow.

Fair enough. I thought you would seeing as RVD is one of Heyman's boys. Be interesting to see how this goes down.

Here's the first show.

--------------------------------------------

PWR: Disorder (Special 3-Hour Debut Show)

Your hosts are Joey Styles and Don Callis.

Paul Heyman comes out to the ring to start the show. He talks about being released by the WWE, and signing away all of their talent in return. He says that unlike ECW, this promotion will never go bankrupt and will never EVER be bought out by WWE, no matter what the price. He says Vince will lose in the ratings wars, because everybody will be watching his show instead. He tells everyone about the two Four-way Elimination matches taking place tonight, with the two winners going on to fight for the PWR World Title at the end of the night. He then tells everyone to enjoy, Pro Wrestling: Revival.

Commercial

“Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels vs. Ultimo Dragon vs. Jamie Noble vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.

This match showed fans what to expect from PWR’s X-Title competitors. Highspots in this match included Noble taking out Daniels with a bullet tope, then Dragon taking out both of them with the Asai moonsault, and finally Mysterio taking all three men out with a springboard somersault plancha. While Daniels and Dragon fought on the outside, Noble attempted to give Mysterio the Tiger Driver in the ring, but Mysterio reversed into a ‘rana, sending Noble throat first across the middle rope. 619, followed by a springboard legdrop, and Mysterio gets the pin in 14:12. ***3/4

Winner: Rey Mysterio Jr.

Commercial

We come back and Raven cuts a promo from the boiler room of the arena. He says he left TNA because they were doomed to fail in the long run. He joined Paul’s company because they already had a national TV deal, and he wanted to help in running the WWE out of business. Tonight, he will become the company’s first champion. Quoth the Raven Nevermore.

Rob Conway comes to the ring, looking to have dropped the French supporter gimmick in favor of the his old “Ironman” one. He says that they call him the “Ironman” because nobody can beat him. He issues a challenge to anyone in the back who thinks they can beat him. Yoshihiro Tajiri’s music hits and it looks like we have ourselves a match.

Rob Conway vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri

See-saw battle, with Tajiri busting out most of his trademark moves, including the handspring elbow and the tarantula. Conway managed to stay in the match by using some underhanded tactics, including escaping a possible dragon suplex with a kick to the groin. Conway nailed a super-fast swinging neckbreaker on Tajiri and then taunted the crowd. He turned around, and Tajiri kicked him in the chest, before attempting a brainbuster, but Conway reversed it into a pin, holding the ropes for the three at 6:45. **

Winner: Rob Conway

Backstage, Pamela Paulshock is standing by with Kurt Angle. Angle says tonight is the night he cements himself as the best athlete in wrestling after he wins the World Title. He’s the only Olympic Athlete in the company, which means he is guaranteed to win. It’s true. It’s damn true.

Commercial

We return, as Raven is laid out and bleeding n the hallway near the boiler room. Paramedics check on him as Paul Heyman arrives and wants to know what the hell happened. The paramedics don’t know, but Heyman sees Steve Corino nearby with a big grin on his face. Heyman accuses him of attacking Raven, but Corino denies it. Heyman says that they will deal with it later, but right now, someone needs to replace Raven in the Four-way Elimination coming up next. Corino volunteers, and Heyman says fine, but right now, he has to make sure one of his main stars is okay. Corino walks away with a big smile on his face.

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Steve Corino

Great action in this one. Two old rivalries are renewed as Angle and Benoit go at it along with Lynn and Corino. At one point, Benoit attempted to superplex Lynn, but Angle came up behind him and germaned Benoit from the second rope, as Benoit superplexed Lynn. As the match continued, Raven ran out to a HUGE pop, all bandaged up. He immediately went for Corino and clotheslined him out of the ring. The two then brawled to the back as the ref counted out Corino at 13:20. Lynn went for the Cradle piledriver on Benoit, but Benoit back body dropped out. Lynn hung on however and used the momentum to roll into a sunset flip, but Benoit rolled out and locked Lynn in the sharpshooter. Lynn tried to escape, but couldn’t and was forced to tap out in 15:33. Angle and Benoit then went at it as the fans rose to their feet. Angle went for the Angle slam, but Benoit reversed to the Crossface. Angle was too far away from the ropes, but somehow turned the submission into a pin, but Benoit kicked out. Angle gave Benoit two germans, but as he went for the third, Benoit reversed and nailed Angle with a german of his own. Benoit went up for the headbutt, but AJ Styles ran out and shoved Benoit off, right into an Angle slam! Angle then slowly covered Benoit for the three count in 19:37. ****

Winner: Kurt Angle

Commercial

Nick Dinsmore vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Nice little match here. Chavo hit a nice DDT mid-way through the match for a nearfall. Chavo went for the brainbuster, but Dinsmore landed on his feet behind Guerrero and hit a german suplex with a bridge for the upset victory in 8:28. **

Winner: Nick Dinsmore

Commercial

We return as Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger come out with Dawn Marie. Simon has a problem. They weren’t booked for the debut Disorder. So they are challenging anyone in the back to come out. The World’s Greatest Tag Team’s music hits and it looks like Haas and Benjamin have accepted.

Simon and Swinger vs. The World’s Greatest Tag Team

Good tag action here. Swinger and Benjamin battle outside the ring as Haas sets Simon up for a superplex. Dawn Marie holds onto Simon’s leg as Haas attempts the superplex so he can’t take Simon over. He goes over to her, but gets slapped and turns around to be met by Swinger, who lifts him up. Simon then grabs Haas for a DDT as they hit the Problem Solver. Simon covers for the three as Swinger holds Shelton back. 10:13. ***

Winners: Simon and Swinger

Meanwhile, Scott Hudson is standing by with Eddie Guerrero. Eddie says that he’s beaten Angle before, and tonight after he wins the Four-way, he will beat him again. Suddenly Ron “The Truth” Killings shows up. He says Eddie doesn’t have a chance at winning the Four-way with him in the match. He tells Eddie to go back to the WWE where he belongs.

Commercial

As we come back from break, Pamela Paulshock is standing by with Chris Benoit. He says he doesn’t know what the hell Styles attacked him for, but he needs to learn how to respect other wrestlers. He challenges Styles to a match next week.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Ron Killings vs. Chris Jericho vs. Lance Storm

Another great four-way, with plenty of time being given again. Some highlights included Storm taking out Eddie with a springboard plancha, Eddie giving Killings and Storm his armdrag/headscissors combo, and Jericho hitting a sweet enziguri on Killings. Storm tried to give Jericho a superkick later in the match, but Jericho caught his leg and turned it into the Walls of Jericho. Storm tried to make the ropes, but Eddie stood in his way and Storm had to tap out at 11:19. Moments later, Eddie hit the rolling verticals on Killings, and went up for the frogsplash, but Killings moved out of the way. He then rolled up Guerrero with his feet on the ropes, cheating to eliminate Eddie at 13:34. Eddie tried to explain what happened to the referee, but he would not overturn the decisions. A frustrated Eddie decided to grab a chair and watch the rest of the match instead. Meanwhile, in the ring, Jericho goes for a missile dropkick, but Killings pulls the referee in the way,and the ref goes down. Jericho and Killings then charged at each other, but collided in mid-air when both tried crossbodies. Eddie then threw a chair into the ring while both wrestlers and the ref were out cold. Killings got to his feet and was surprised to see the chair in the ring. He picks up the chair as the referee regains consciousness and sees him with the chair and Jericho down on the mat. Killings tries to explain to the referee that he didn’t use the chair, but Jericho sneaks up behind him and hits a bulldog. Jericho then hits the lionsault for the three count at 18:31. ****

Winner: Chris Jericho

Commercial

We return as Paul Heyman is in his office. He announces that next week, there will be a Four-way Double Elimination Match for the X Title.

Meanwhile, Killings is pissed off in the parking lot. Suddenly he gets a big smile on his face. The camera moves to see that he is looking at Eddie Guerrero’s lowrider. Killings grabs a nearby pipe and smashes all of the windows on Eddie’s car. He then drops the pipe and walks off, laughing.

Paul London vs. Matt Hardy

Good match here, with Hardy playing the heel and London playing the underdog face. He nails Hardy with a nice dropsault and a slingshot quebrada for near falls. Hardy fights back with the side effect, but taunts the crowd too much and is met with the Waffle Face from London. London heads up top and comes off with the London Calling shooting star press, but Hardy rolls out of the way. He then nails London with the Twist of Fate for the win. 7:08. ***

Winner: Matt Hardy

Commercial

Back to the parking lot, as Eddie sees his car windows all smashed up. He starts yelling in Spanish and sees Ron Killings looking on, laughing. Eddie charges Killings as the two start brawling in the parking lot. Soon officials arrive and try to separate the two, but they break away and continue brawling. Finally the officials are able to pry the two away from each other.

Scott Hudson is standing by with AJ Styles. He says he attacks Benoit, because he’s tired of hearing everyone say, Benoit is the greatest wrestler to ever live, and Chris Benoit will become the first PWR World Champion. He says that he spoiled that, and he accepts Benoit’s challenge for next week to prove he is better.

We see Jericho and Angle preparing for the main event, which is next.

Commercial

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho

Great first main event for the title, with plenty of back and forth action. Jericho nailed Angle with the lionsault for a great near fall during the match. Jericho headed up top, but Angle ran up the ropes, trying the pop-up belly to belly, but Jericho shoved him back down to the mat. Jericho then came off the top with a spinning back elbow on Angle for a close nearfall. Angle fought back with a release german suplex, and hit the Angle slam for another very heated nearfall. Angle grabbed Jericho in the anklelock but Jericho rolled through it and somehow reversed into the Walls of Jericho. Suddenly Don Callis left the announcer’s table and got up on the apron to distract the ref as Joey Styles doesn’t know what the hell is going on. Lance Storm ran out from the back and springboarded in with a missile dropkick to Jericho, breaking the hold. Storm nailed Jericho with a superkick with the ref still distracted by Callis and Angle then nailed the Angle slam as Callis jumped off the apron, allowing the referee to turn around and count the pin. 1...2...3 and Angle is the first ever PWR Champion in 14:23 thanks to Don Callis and Lance Storm. ***1/2

Winner: Kurt Angle

After the match, Lance Storm re-enters the ring and Angle and Storm continue beating down Jericho. Angle holds Jericho as Storm prepares to superkick him again, but Jericho ducks and Angle gets nailed. Jericho then clotheslines Storm but from the back come Low Ki, Elix Skipper, and Christopher Daniels. They all attack Jericho as well and soon we have a 5 on 1 beatdown. Daniels lifts Jericho for a spinebuster as Low Ki springboards off the middle rope with a roundhouse kick to Jericho’s face. Daniels continues holding Jericho’s legs as Elix Skipper springboards in with a legdrop to Jericho. Angle locks the beaten up Jericho in the anklelock for good measure as Don Callis enters the ring with a microphone. He says that just like the last time Heyman ran a promotion, the Network will take over PWR as well.

We fade to black with Callis, Daniels, Ki, Skipper, Storm, and Angle posing over Jericho’s body.

PWR Saturday Night

Your host is Joey Styles.

Joey welcomes us to the show, and says we have a lot to discuss in an hour, plus some good matches, so lets get right to the action.

Spanky’s music hits as he makes his way out. His opponent is already in the ring, independent standout and PWR prospect, Chad Collyer.

Spanky vs. Chad Collyer

Nice way to start off the debut edition of Saturday Night, as Collyer controls the early goings with some technical offense. Nice back suplex by Collyer for two. At one point in the match, Collyer attempted a back superplex, but Spanky elbow him off and hit a beautiful moonsault onto the standing Collyer for a close nearfall. Late in the match, Collyer went for a german suplex, but Spanky was able to flip out and nail Sliced Bread #2 for the victory. 8:24. **1/2

Winner: Spanky

Commercial

We return, as a recap of Raven being attacked last Monday is shown, along with highlights of the first Four-way Elimination match between Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Jerry Lynn, and Steve Corino, replacing Raven. We see Raven and Corino brawling to the back, along with Benoit eliminating Lynn with the sharpshooter and Angle eliminating Benoit thanks to AJ Styles.

We are then shown Benoit’s promo from Monday, along with AJ’s response.

Joey says that Benoit vs. Styles has been officially signed, and will take place this Monday on Disorder.

Meanwhile, the FBI are shown talking backstage. Suddenly Punk (formerly CM Punk), Julio (formerly Julio Dinero) and James Mitchell walk past them down the hallway. Guido and Tony stop talking about whatever they were talking about and start making fun of The Gathering, as Joey tells us they are called. Punk looks ready to attack Tony at one point, but Mitchell holds him back.

Commercial

We come back, as Joey once again leads us into a recap of the second Four-way Elimination match which pitted Lance Storm against Chris Jericho against Ron “The Truth” Killings against Eddie Guerrero. We see Jericho eliminating Storm with the Walls of Jericho, and Killings cheating to eliminate Guerrero with his feet on the ropes. We are then shown Eddie throwing a chair into the ring, distracting Killings, and eventually leading to Jericho picking up the win.

Commercial

The FBI vs. The Gathering

Back and forth match-up here, with the crowd firmly behind Punk and Julio. During the match, Julio and Guido ended up outside the ring, brawling on the outside. James Mitchell managed to distract Guido enough for Julio to dropkick the steel steps into Guido’s knees, taking him out of the match. Meanwhile, in the ring, Tony set Punk up for a superplex, but Julio crawled back into the ring and got under Tony’s legs, lifting him up for a powerbomb. Punk then regained his footing on the top rope, before leaping off with a Blockbuster flipping neckbreaker as The Gathering completed the Near Death Experience. Punk covered Tony and The Gathering pick up an impressive win at 11:19. **3/4

Winners: The Gathering

Commercial

As we return, we see highlights of the PWR World Title match between Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle. We see Don Callis and Lance Storm costing Jericho the match, as well as Jericho being beaten down by “The Network” of Kurt Angle, Lance Storm, Chris Daniels, Low Ki, and Elix Skipper, led by Don Callis.

Joey says that this Monday, as announced on last week’s Disorder by Paul Heyman, there will be a Four-way Double Elimination Match for the PWR X Title, with the participants yet to be announced. Check www.prowrestlingrevival.com for the latest updates on who will be added to the match.

Commercial

Jimmy Yang vs. "The Future" Chris Sabin

Great X-Division match here, with Yang getting in a bunch of his unique offense, including a triangle choke over the top rope, and a nice Tiger Mask style backflip kick in the corner, and Sabin using some heel tactics, along with some innovative moves, including the uranage backbreaker. In the end, Yang went up top and came off with Yang Time, but Sabin moved out of the way and Yang crashed to the mat. Sabin then picked Yang up and nailed him with his Future Shock fisherman’s buster for the three count. 14:28. ***1/4

Winner: Chris Sabin

Joey thanks us for watching, and reminds us not to miss Disorder this Monday Night.

Official Preview for PWR: Disorder, 4/26/04

Last week saw the debut of Pro Wrestling: Revival, and the crowning of a champion, as Kurt Angle defeated Chris Jericho with the help of the newly reformed Network, to win the PWR World Title. Led by Don Callis, The Network, formed by Angle, Lance Storm, "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, Low Ki, and Elix Skipper, destroyed Jericho in the ring last monday after Angle pinned Jericho with help from Storm and Callis. An undoubtedly angry Jericho will be in the house this Monday night, but what will he have to say?

Jericho will not be the only angry PWR Superstar this Monday, as last week saw Ron "The Truth" Killings vandalize the lowrider of Eddie Guerrero. After Ron had ran his mouth off at Guerrero, Eddie retaliated by costing Killings a shot at the PWR World Title. Killings responded by breaking all of the windows in Eddie's car with a lead pipe. The last we saw of the two, they were being separated by officials backstage. What will happen this week?

Also on the debut edition of PWR: Disorder, AJ Styles, for no apparent reason, cost Chris Benoit a chance to wrestle for the PWR World Championship. Benoit did not take kindly to this, and told AJ to learn how to respect other wrestlers. He challenged Styles to a match this week, in hopes of teaching the youngster some respect. AJ accepted, but will Benoit get the respect he deserves? Find out Monday as two of the best in the business collide, in what is sure to be a classic.

Finally, this week on Disorder, as announced by Paul Heyman, four X-Division stars will go at it in a Four-way Double Elimination match to become the first ever PWR X Champion. Rey Mysterio Jr., Jamie Noble, and "The Future" Chris Sabin have all been announced for the match, but who will be the fourth competitor?

All of this and more will take place LIVE this Monday on the second edition of PWR: Disorder, 9/8 central, only on The USA Network.

Here's this week's Disorder:

-------------------------------

PWR: Disorder for April 26, 2004

We open the show with Paul Heyman in his office talking on the phone. Just as he hangs up the phone, an enraged Eddie Guerrero walks into his office and slams the door. Eddie wants Ron Killings, and he wants him tonight! Paul says that he can’t do that. Eddie threatens to go back to the WWE if Heyman won’t give him Killings tonight. Heyman tells Eddie to calm down. He says that Eddie can’t have The Truth tonight, because tonight, it’s Eddie Guerrero vs. Lance Storm for the PWR North American Title! Eddie gets a smirk on his face and leaves Heyman’s office.

We then cut to ringside, with your host, Joey Styles.

The Network’s music hits as Don Callis, Lance Storm, “Fallen Angel” Chris Daniels, Low Ki, Elix Skipper, and the new PWR World Champion Kurt Angle make their way to the ring to loud boos. Callis introduces the fans to all of the members of The Network, ending with Kurt Angle, who “single-handedly beat the living hell out of Chris Jericho last week,” according to Callis. Callis goes on to say that Angle will be the most dominating champion that this business has ever seen.

All of a sudden we get the countdown, followed by Jericho’s music, as the crowd goes nuts. Jericho tells Callis to “shut...the HELL...UP!” He was screwed last night, and he, along with all of these fans know it. Jericho wants a rematch for the title TONIGHT!

Callis says that’s impossible, because Kurt has the night off tonight. He says Jericho has done nothing to earn a shot at Angle’s title anyway, and if he wants a rematch, he’ll have to earn it. Callis says that Jericho can have a shot at Angle’s title next week, IF he can beat Low Ki, Chris Daniels, and Elix Skipper in a handicap match tonight. Jericho accepts, and it looks like we have ourselves a main event.

Commercial

Nick Dinsmore vs. Matt Hardy Version 1.0

Hardy has returned to his Version 1 character and plays the heel here, with Dinsmore playing the underdog. Hardy controls most of the match with some trademark moves, including a side effect and second rope legdrop, both for near falls. Dinsmore fights back and nails a nice German suplex with a bridge for a close nearfall. Hardy regains control and pounds Dinsmore, but as he goes for the Twist of Fate, Dinsmore reverses into a rollup for the upset victory in 6:45. **

Winner: Nick Dinsmore

Meanwhile in the boiler room, Raven cuts another promo. He says that Steve Corino made a big mistake last week attacking Raven. Raven says he want’s Corino tonight, under his rules, the Clockwork Orange House of Fun. Tonight, Steve Corino will get what’s coming to him, Quoth the Raven, Nevermore.

Commercial

Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger, and Dawn Marie are out, and once again, Simon has a problem. Apparently Heyman has granted Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin a rematch against them tonight, even though they beta them fair and square last week. They are soon interrupted by The World’s Greatest Tag Team’s music as the rematch is on.

Simon and Swinger vs. The World’s Greatest Tag Team

Good tag match here, with Simon and Swinger controlling early, but Haas and Benjamin gain the advantage late in the match. Haas grabs Simon in a waistlock as Benjamin prepares to superkick him, but Swinger runs into the ring and clips Shelton’s knee. Simon and Swinger then hit Haas with the Problem Solver, but Benjamin breaks it up at the last second. Shelton hits Diamond with the Dragon Whip, but Dawn Marie puts Simon’s foot on the bottom rope at the last second. Benjamin grabs Dawn by the hair, and Swinger tries to save her, but Shelton moves and Swinger knocks Dawn off the apron. He goes to check on her as The World’s Greatest Tag Team finish off Diamond in the ring with the Broken Arrow at 12:31 to a nice reaction. ***1/2

Winners: The World’s Greatest Tag Team

Backstage, Pamela Paulshock tries to get a word with Corino about Raven’s challenge. Corino says he accepts Raven’s challenge, but not for tonight, because he’s leaving. Corino then heads to the parking lot with his bags.

As we come back from the break, Benoit is warming up backstage.

Meanwhile, Eddie Guerrero is walking backstage. Suddenly he is attacked from behind by Ron Killings! Killings grabs Eddie and throws him through a window, as glass shatters everywhere. Killings walks away laughing, as Eddie lays in the broken glass, bleeding from his back.

AJ Styles vs. Chris Benoit

Excellent match here, as two of the company’s best go at it. Some highlights include AJ kicking off a Benoit sharpshooter and following that up immediately with a kip-up rana, Benoit reversing the quebrada DDT into a release Northern lights suplex into the turnbuckle, AJ hitting a sweet springboard somersault plancha, and Benoit hitting a german suplex from the second rope onto AJ. Towards the end of the match, AJ went for the Styles Clash, but Benoit fought out and somehow countered into the Crossface! AJ elbowed Benoit in the head to break the hold, but caught heading up top, and Benoit delivered a devastating top rope powerbomb to pick up the win at 20:11. ****1/2

Winner: Chris Benoit

After the match, Benoit extended his hand as a show of respect, and AJ acted like he was going to shake it, only to spit in Benoit’s face and head to the back to tons of boos.

Commercial

As we return, Eddie is being attended to by paramedics. We zoom out to see that Don Callis and Lance Storm are watching it on a monitor in their locker room. Callis smiles and says that since Eddie won’t be able to compete tonight, he is giving the North American Title to Lance Storm.

The X Title Four-way Double Elimination Match is next.

Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Jamie Noble vs. “The Future” Chris Sabin vs. Ultimo Dragon

Great X-Division action here as four men battle it out with double elimination rules. Dragon and Noble started out the match, and after some quick back and forth action, Dragon pinned Noble in 4:22 with the Asai DDT. Sabin was in next, and he and Dragon also had a quick exchange. Sabin hit Dragon with the uranage backbreaker, but Dragon somehow kicked out. Dragon went for a lionsault, but Sabin got his knees up, and pinned Dragon following the Future Shock at 9:06. Mysterio was next in, and he hit a quick hurricanrana on Sabin for a nearfall. Mysterio tried a quick 619, but Sabin ducked and dropkicked Rey out of the ring, before hitting a beautiful corkscrew plancha onto Mysterio Jr. Sabin and Mysterio continued going at it, and eventually Sabin pinned Mysterio after rolling through a frankensteiner from the top rope at 15:40. Noble then re-entered the ring and took on Sabin. Sabin tried to fight off Noble, but Noble took advantage of his tired opponent, and pinned Sabin with the Tiger Driver in 17:19. Dragon then re-entered and lit Noble up with some quick kicks and a flying headscissors, sending Noble out of the ring. Ultimo followed with the Asai moonsault, and rolled Noble back in for a nearfall. Noble fought back and tried another Tiger Driver, but Dragon reversed and gave Noble a nice bridging dragon suplex for the pin at 21:34, eliminating Noble. Mysterio then squared off against Dragon. Back and forth battle with some quick action, ending with Mysterio eliminating Dragon in 25:08 with the West Coast Pop. Sabin then entered the ring and was immediately taken down by a bodyscissors bulldog from Mysterio. Both men exchanged some nice maneuvers, and in the end, Mysterio kept the advantage. He connected with the 619, but missed a springboard legdrop, and Sabin put him away with the Cradle Shock to win the X Title in 29:52. ****1/4

Winner: Chris Sabin

We come back with Heyman in his office. He says that all of the titles have now been decided except for one. So next week, a Tag Team Title Tournament will begin to crown the first ever PWR Tag Team Champions.

Chris Jericho vs. “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, Low Ki, and Elix Skipper

Nice main event, and a must-win for Jericho. The three Network members controlled Jericho most of the match, as every time he would make a comeback, the numbers game would get the best of him. Daniels and Ki nailed a nice double team powerbomb/neckbreaker combo on Jericho for a nearfall and Elix hit him with the Play of the Day, also for a near fall. Jericho fought back and nailed Ki with a springboard dropkick, knocking him off the apron. He hit a nice running enziguri on Skipper and then nailed Daniels with the Lionsault! 1...2...NO! Kurt Angle pulls the referee out of the ring and levels him with a right hand! Angle steals the timekeeper’s chair and starts beating the hell out of Jericho’s knee with it as Don Callis arrives at ringside and steals the referee’s shirt. Angle rolls Jericho into the ring and nails him with the Angle slam! Daniels then follows with the Best Moonsault Ever as Callis counts the pin. 1...2...3! Dammit! 12:23. ***

Winners: Daniels, Ki, and Skipper

The show ends with Jericho down in the ring clutching his knee as The Network pose on the entrance ramp.

The next show (2nd episode of Saturday Night) probably won't be up until Tuesday or Wednesday because of Easter.

I have a couple of questions:

Why are you re-hashing the Network? Maybe trying to do a unique name would make me think this is differnet than EC-Dub.

Is the X-Division Cruiserweight, or like who it is on TNA?

1. Basically, Don Callis (then known as Cyrus) had the Network in ECW, so it's returning to cause terror again as it did in ECW. Plus I suck at thinking of original stable/tag names.

2. The X-Division is basically my cruiserweight division, but the style is more like TNA's because of there not being restrictions on moves, more time given to the matches, and nobody to tell them to "slow it down"

Thanks for reading
