Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 4, 2004 I think that the Rumble does count, but I'll give it a shot. Remember his Intercontinental Championship match with Rob Van Dam on Raw? He wasn't bad at all in the Triple-Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship at Armageddon, either. There are a couple to keep you busy.

It was RVD vs. Orton where Orton won in the 20 minutes or bordom match. And the other match Orton knocked himself silly on the ring post, and the match dragged like a piece of a shit stuck to a horses tail. And the triple threat vs. RVD and Booker T was pretty bad too. Tsk Tsk Tsk. I wonder how little wrestling Australlians get to think Orton is a great worker.

I didn't say that he was a great worker, I said that I've always been high on them, and that's because I appreciate his charisma and what he can do in a wrestling ring, because we've seen it. And we get, Raw, SmackDown!, WWE Pay-Per-Views and NWA TNA.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted April 4, 2004 I've always been high on Orton - when he needs to, he can put on a great match. Your nose is going to be longer than HHH's at this rate. At least your not as delusional as Besus. Edit: That kinda counts as calling him great.
Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted April 4, 2004 Ugh, tough question, I like alot of WWE wrestlers. Top favorites are (kind of in order) Eddie, Benoit, Jericho, Lance Storm, Paul London, Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, Tajiri, and Jamie Noble. So I guess Eddie. Please name one match that was great that had Orton. Reminder, a Star rating for great is **** according to....whoever made the rule. And the 2004 Rumble doesn't count. Who gives a rat ass? If he likes the guy, he likes the guy. I don't mind Orton either, I really enjoy his cockyness and, as long as Flair does the talking for him, his promos. Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 4, 2004 If we are talking about TOTAL PACKAGE here...I have to say it's a close tie with Jericho and Eddy. Both are entertaining and great storytellers and good-great workers... If we are talking WRESTLING primarily...have to say The Crippler. Just for Kicks Top 20 Active WWE Workers 1. Chris Benoit 2. Chris Jericho 3. Eddy Guerrero 4. Triple H 5. Rey Mysterio Jr 6. Kurt Angle 7. Shelton Benjamin 8. John Cena 9. RVD 10. The Big Show 11. Ric Flair 12. Matt Hardy 13. Chavo Guerrero 14. Christian 15. Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted April 4, 2004 I can't really decide on who's my favorite current WWE wrestler, so I'm going to name a few (in no particular order). Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle- what can I say that hasn't already been said? All four men are entertaining and have been involved in some of the WWF/E's best matches. They may be the four best all-around wrestlers in WWE today. Triple H- HHH has been one of my favorite wrestlers since mid 1997. HHH's passion and dedication to wrestling is admirable. He's worked through injuries that other wrestlers may not have. HHH has great in-ring intensity, the "superstar look," and the presence of a champion. In short, HHH has that "it" factor. HHH entertains me and makes me care about his matches. I like most of HHH's moveset. The Pedigree is a credible finisher, the high knee is a nice out-of-nowhere move, and the indian deathlock is a nice old-school submission move which I'd like to see him use more often. HHH also has one of the best entrances in wrestling. The Motorhead theme, the lights, the water-spewing...very cool. Ric Flair- in his prime, Ric Flair was the man. Flair's storytelling ability both in and out of the ring is second to none. In addition to his in-ring ability, Flair had the look of a champion- the fancy suits, the limousines, the jets, the women. Flair could (and still can) cut an incredible promo. Flair has the uncanny ability to turn a crowd towards or against him at will. He may have slowed down a bit, but he's still better than a lot of wrestlers. Even today, I look forward to Flair's matches and promos. I will always be a Ric Flair fan. Other WWE wrestlers who I like: The Rock Edge RVD Matt Hardy Paul London Shelton Bejamin Charlie Haas

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 4, 2004 A great gimmick and/or push can make a mediocre worker seem better than he actually is - I guess that you could say that that's the deal with Orton, that's our stalemate. He's no scientific wrestler, but he can work an entertaining match. Choken One, while I'm not exactly a fan of The Big Show, he's a trooper - he still works with knees that need to be scoped, is pretty over and, when carried, can do like Randy Orton - work an entertaining match. And yes, Eddy Guerrero and Chris Jericho have the whole package - definitely.

Go to the homepage, click a PPV title from the side scroll then it gives you a list of each show. Click whatever year you'd want and 9 times out of 10 it has the promotional poster. Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 4, 2004 If WWE had a brain in their heads, they'd let Paul London work SmackDown!. And they say that talent is more important these days - boy, I could have another field day with that.
Guest JMA Report post Posted April 4, 2004 Right now I'd have to say my favorite wrestler is Chris Benoit. He doesn't have some silly gimmick and is the best in-ring talent WWE has. Honorable mentions: Eddy, RVD, Jericho, and Angle.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 4, 2004 JMA, it seems that I'm now pondering something that you were probably pondering... Could you imagine Chris Benoit with a gimmick? And don't say that his aggressive style and usual lack of seeable human emotion is a gimmick - he's just like that - The Dungeon did it to him. A gimmick would be the ultimate insult for him - he's a textbook example of a guy getting over with his normal attitude, and working some of the greatest professional wrestling matches ever, ever done. Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2004 My favourite is Shawn Michaels, on RAW, and The Undertaker, on SD!. HBK is, along with Chris Benoit, the best worker on RAW, hands down. That, and I've loved him since I was 11 years old, which also applies to... The Undertaker - Nuff said. UYI
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 4, 2004 The Undertaker is definitely being shafted at the moment. And Shawn Michaels is one of the best workers in professional wrestling today, let alone WWE, and let alone Raw.

Yes, I know I said Benoit is #1 after saying Jericho and Eddy were the total packages...But I felt Benoit still deserved the #1 nontheless.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 4, 2004 - Wore the US title sideways OOH, I HATE that. He looks like he doesn't care enough about the belt to strap it on properly. It's almost as bad as when Austin would drag the world title in one hand and launch it across the ring during his entrance.
