It looks more interesting than last years card. Brock vs. Cena for the WORLD TITLE HBK/Nash/Booker vs. HHH/Jericho/Flair in a match that would barely fit a RAW main event in quality Rock vs. Goldberg everyone knew would suck. O'Haire vs. Rikishi And then I blank out.

Jericho/X was solid last month at Mania and with Mania Jitters out of the way and being in home country...they will go all out. The Triple Threat Should be another goodie...esp if they add Benjamin as some reports have speculated. Foley/Orton should be good if only for seeing foley kill himself. Nothing else is appealing but three ***+ matches TRUMPS what they offered last year.

Or just throw in Foley and Orton to complete the circle...and give it 25 minutes on Raw tom. Have Shelton go over, this time over Flair to keep him hot...Give us Batistia/Benjamin at Backlash...Benjamin gets the comeback mortonish win...Benoit retains this time by Making Shawn Tap. Shawn Lays down for Trips before he leaves the next night on raw and Benoit gets the 10 Clock spot in another 5 minute title defense (let's say Tajiri just to Tease us)

Rock vs Goldberg: * HBK/Nash/Booker T vs HHH/Y2J/Flair: ** Lesnar vs Cena: **1/2 Team Angle vs Guerreros: ***1/2 Sean O'Haire vs Rikishi: * Trish vs Jazz: **3/4 Big Show vs Rey Mysterio 1/2* Dudleyz vs Kane and RVD: **3/4 So, all in all... not a great show by any means. I know my rating system is relatively generous.

They teased that Benoit hasn't been able to beat Michaels, and has never even made him tap out (officially or unofficially) that I can think of. So it makes sense to have HBK put Benoit over, and save Benoit vs. HHH 1-on-1 for Bad Blood if HHH is that dead-set on getting the title back.

After Backlash...I'd set Shawn to put Trips over before he leaves because they need to blow that one off and it would kill a nagging storyline point when he returns. Give Shawn and Benjamin the slow burn...A couple tag matches against Evolution...Build up their respect for each other. Shawn finally goes full HEEL on cocky shelton...Gives us Trips/Benoit, Benjamin/Shawn and The X/Jericho blowoff for Bad Blood which already BLOWS last year's shitfest out of the water, Throw in Edge/Orton Evolution keeps the title over an random thrown together team and we got something cooking. Trips regains. Benjamin gets the "UPSET". Jericho wins the Gimmick Blowoff (cage, First Blood etc). Edge wins but with the DQ. Evolution retains the titles. Trips/Edge is set up for Slam Go with Benjamin Vs Orton for The IC Title at Slam Jericho and Benoit reunite CVC and go after Evolution's titles. Edge wins the title. Benjamin wins the title Jericho goes Luger on Benoit's Sting. Set Up a Edge/Christian program without the comedy and go with the serious Bret/Owen route. Benjamin the new champion feuds with the heel Tajiri. Shawn returns as a Face and teams with Benoit against Jericho whom aligns with Orton...Basically the idea is that Jericho is ducking Benoit. Edge goes over, Benjamin wins. Jericho wins but over Shawn instead. Jericho wins the title at 'Series after earning the shot by beating Benoit and Benjamin and Shawn in 4 way #1 contender match...Thanks to Orton, Benoit lays down to Jericho. Benoit goes over Orton at Series. This gives us the Benoit/Jericho program leading to Rumble with Benoit Winning, just in time to Senselessly turn and Job the title to face turned Trips at Mania.

Throw Jericho into the mix and have Christian and Trish join evolution, make it a 5 on 5 War Games, and then they're on to something
