Slayer Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 CE thread. I made a post on child killers, and you followed it with some snide remark. Eh, I've made lots of snide remarks in my time here, can't keep track of them all. I stand by whatever I said though. EDIT: Went back in my post history and found what you were talking about. Big fuckin' deal. Anyways, this is detracting from the thread and my enjoyment of both of my teams winning now. If you wish to continue, feel free to start up in HD.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Wow, yeah, look at that. Mets on top of the league which such powerhouse clubs like the Tigers and Brewers. ?
Guest Anglesault Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Wow, yeah, look at that. Mets on top of the league which such powerhouse clubs like the Tigers and Brewers. ? Aren't all three teams at or near first in their division?

Aren't all three teams at or near first in their division? Yes, and if your Yankees had the same record you wouldn't be pulling this shit. So give both teams credit for coming out nicely

Guest Anglesault Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Fine. They're doing a rather nice job of prolonging the inevitable. Happy? Both these games are depressing. What are the Cubs doing?
Guest OctoberBlood Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 What are the Cubs doing? Getting owned by Paul Wilson. But, it's in a slight rain delay right now.

Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Fine. They're doing a rather nice job of prolonging the inevitable. Just like the Marlins right?
Guest Anglesault Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 What are the Cubs doing? Getting owned by Paul Wilson. But, it's in a slight rain delay right now. Thank God. The Astros, Red Sox and Mets are all winning he had to give me something.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 god thinks you suck like your attitude. The Braves/Mets game is tied right now and Atlanta looks like they'll be taking the lead...you should really use Yahoo

Well, the Red Sox and Astros are winning, and Clemens is dominant, so he really hates me, but he's trying to cover. And I have a good attitude.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Really AngleSault, here ya go. Click on whichever game you want to keep up with.
Slayer Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I propose we change this to "The OAO 2004 MLB Games and Flame Anglesault Thread" that should make things more interesting
Guest Anglesault Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I've been following some of the games on Extra Innings. The only one I can't watch is Mets/Braves. I'm sure it's on another channel, but I have no idea which one.
NYU Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Hmmmm....the Mets have managed to blow a game again..... Color me surprised. Optimism is an unreliable thing. Just look at Yankee fans for the past 3 years.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 14-6. Good god. Reds back on! Bye.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Yankee fans don't believe in optimism.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Ouch its now 10-1 Red Sox on an Ortiz 3 run Homer..
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 David Ortiz cranks a 3-run shot to put the Red Sox on top 10-1...and making it look like Keith Foulke won't be picking me up a Save tonight for my Fantasy club
Guest Anglesault Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 14-6. Good god. Reds back on! Bye. I'm switching to this game. It's the least depressing of the three.
Styles Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Bauer sounds like he was just cruising along there for 4 innings, but he got tired. What a depressing game for Baltimore...

Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 my guess on the Baltimore season - Sidney Ponson leads the Orioles staff with 19 wins as the team goes 40 and 122.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 (edited) You think Ponson hits 19? :) Edit: f'd up his name Edited April 8, 2004 by Anglesault
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 The Orioles have a good Bullpen.. I think they should just put the starter in there for 3 innings and then hit the bullpen for the rest of the game... That would be fun.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 well I figure he'll see Cleveland and Detroit a combined 4 times, along with the offense behind him...ya he could hit 19. Especially since the Orioles offense can hit the Tampa Bay pitching hehehe

Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Yes, but when the Orioles previously played the D-Rays they didn't have Tejada, Lopez, or Raviagra Palmerio
