Kahran Ramsus Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 You'll love them even more when half of them are in the hospital by June. Must you be a bearer of bad news? Actually, it is the staff that I would worry about.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Because I hate message boards cluttered with nothing other than "OMG....another Yankee hit." Find a live chat somewhere, or start one via AIM. THis is 5 pages long on the second day. It would be obscene by season's end.
HarleyQuinn Posted April 6, 2004 Author Report Posted April 6, 2004 Then simply don't enter the thread tis all. Besides, if Dames puts up with it then everybody else can deal with it since he pays for the board. If he hates, Dames can just delete the thread.
Kahran Ramsus Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Because I hate message boards cluttered with nothing other than "OMG....another Yankee hit." Find a live chat somewhere, or start one via AIM. THis is 5 pages long on the second day. It would be obscene by season's end. It won't be too bad. Many people lose interest as the season wears on. I really don't see the need to close it. The reason for these OAO threads is to keep this stuff concentrated in one space. I don't see any reason to close it.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Fair enough. But lets try and keep some good discussions going in other threads.
Kahran Ramsus Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Fair enough. But lets try and keep some good discussions going in other threads. Oh we will. This isn't a thread on the MLB season. It is a thread about the actual games themselves. This is the MLB equivalent to the OAO Raw threads.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Or we could ban AS and it'd be fine.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 BTW, Kaz Matsui homered to deep center in his first major league atbat.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Or we could ban AS and it'd be fine. What did I do? I've stopped myself from issuing death threats to Moose.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Or we could ban AS and it'd be fine. What did I do? I've stopped myself from issuing death threats to Moose. You did everything Anglesault. You did everything... *fades to black*.
razazteca Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Tom Glavine never has good luck when playing against the Braves as Marcus Giles hit a 2 run homer in the 1st inning.
Bruiser Chong Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Then simply don't enter the thread tis all. Besides, if Dames puts up with it then everybody else can deal with it since he pays for the board. If he hates, Dames can just delete the thread. I hate responses like that. Why should someone avoid something they have an interest in just because they (rightfully) don't agree with how the thread's being done? What's so wrong with even daily threads on baseball games? And I wouldn't bring up with what Dames puts up with since he essentially puts up with anything and still pays outrageous amounts to keep this place going.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Two games, two unspeakably bad performances from Moose against the fucking Devil Rays. This is NOT good.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Get him THE FUCK off that god damn mound and keep him off until he's ready to pitch like the fucking ace of the New York Yankees should pitch.
HarleyQuinn Posted April 7, 2004 Author Report Posted April 7, 2004 Bases loaded for Petitte of all people in the Houston/SF game. Nobody out either
Guest Anglesault Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Bases loaded for Petitte of all people in the Houston/SF game. Nobody out either Did they bean him?
HarleyQuinn Posted April 7, 2004 Author Report Posted April 7, 2004 He struck out looking if it's any consilation, heh.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 He struck out looking if it's any consilation, heh. Nope. Mussina has me pissed off now. I want blood.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 (edited) Oh, for the love of fucking God. Giambi runs like my dad. Okay, another 5 hits and two runs for Tampa coming up. Edited April 7, 2004 by Anglesault
HarleyQuinn Posted April 7, 2004 Author Report Posted April 7, 2004 Man, Tampa's just striking while the iron's hot it seems and the Yankees can't do a thing to stop them
Guest Anglesault Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 (edited) GOOD LORD! THIS is our ace? It's gonna be a LONG year. Some promising numbers for Not-Pettitte there huh? Edited April 7, 2004 by Anglesault
HarleyQuinn Posted April 7, 2004 Author Report Posted April 7, 2004 Not good at all for the Yankees, looks like 1 run will score at the very least. Bases loaded with Lugo coming up
Guest Anglesault Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Yep, the mighty Yankees get humiliated by the lowly Devil Rays YET AGAIN.
HarleyQuinn Posted April 7, 2004 Author Report Posted April 7, 2004 a sacrifice fly by Toby Hall gets the D-Rays leading by 2 now, who ever would've thought huh?
Rob E Dangerously Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Kaz Matsui - 3 for 3, leadoff HR, two doubles
Guest Anglesault Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 (edited) Well, there's always Kevin Brown. Why take DePaula out? The situation was amost stablizing. Edited April 7, 2004 by Anglesault
