Still doesn't change the fact Holly couldn't work then either.He just had to hit ppl with garbage can lids and other garbage. Gonna throw New Jack in there too.This guy did 2 things,hit you with trash and splash you on a table.If I saw a match were he broke out an actual wrestling move besides a pin i'd prolly faint. I can't think of him having a single match above *, yet he was around for years, won a KOTR and was the #1 Contender at the second biggest show of the year. The Mable vs. Moe submissions match from Memphis TV a few months back was WAY better than I expected... about **1/2. Prepare to faint, I've seen him do a suplex before and afterwards he even yelled out "See I Know how to do one move, I know how to do a suplex!" then had a funny grin on his face. This was on a 3PW dvd, I can't remember what it was actually called through, the main event was X-pac vs Sabu and the bonus match was a bodybag match with Sandman, Sabu, and New jack with New Jack being elimated first. Brutus Beefcake was fucking over when he was The Barber. I wouldn't have cared if he won the Intercontinental title. He worked fine during the early-mid eighties. Hell, even the early 90's. I wouldn't consider New Jack a wrestler. He's just fucking bat crazy. I've seen him do real moves too...in XPW against the "Diamond Dollar Man" he busted out snapmares, side headlocks, etc....then he stapled a dollar to DDM's head. LOL! Lex Luger was fucking fantastic in the late 80's early 90's to me. His fucking cage match with Barry Windham comes to mind. Hell, even his match with Danny Spivey was good...even if it was just Spivey hitting spot after spot with Luger no selling them all and kicking out of everything. Sullivan wasn't too bad. The double foot stomp finisher was trash, but he was at least entertaining. Big Reese was pretty bad. Still, I have to say Horace Hogan. Kane and the A-Train are both great workers, and even have sizeable degree of ability. While they obviously wouldn't be my favourite workers of all time, I'll watch them. He couldn't wrestle a lick, couldn't cut a coherant promo, was sloppy as hell, and was legitimately crazy. His gimmick and look saved him. He couldn't wrestle a lick, couldn't cut a coherant promo, was sloppy as hell, and was legitimately crazy. His gimmick and look saved him. Of course, that's going by the criteria established in the first post. Warrior has only had FOUR good matches....ever. Now thats pathetic. And here they are... Summerslam 89 vs. Rick Rude. Miracle here since Rude's WWF stint in-ring wise was terrible. I can barely remember any good matches of him vs people not named Roddy Piper (feud in the fall 89) Wrestlemania VI vs. Hulk Hogan. Complete carry job from HOGAN of all people. Wrestlemania VII vs. Randy Savage. Possible the only match Warrior actually tried hard, plus Savages crazy over the topness helped. I don't think Warrior had charisma. He was over because of the way he looked and his "off the wall" gimmick. As for his contribution, I see none.
