JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2004 Non-Raw stuff from Houston tonight: Dark match Chuck Palumbo (short afro) b A-Train (bald, going nowhere) Heat matches Steven Richards (GM) b Hurricane (who once beat Rock) Garrison Cade (who can't be called Lance because of a guy not even booked) b Val Venis (who once beat Mick Foley) Rosey (SHITty gimmick) b Slam Shady (don't know who this person works indies as) After the show, nothing happened other than Mick Foley cut a promo and vowed revenge at the PPV. Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 6, 2004 sounds like Cena's next finisher. "Slam Shady" is a horrible play-off, but would be alright if it didn't have anything to do with Eminem. Then again, so would "Slim Shady". Again, Steven Richards beats a guy that sometimes wrestles on Raw, yet nothing happens.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2004 Maybe it was Slim J. That kid's the Eminem wannabe.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 6, 2004 Getting a little off-topic just for the moment, I appreciate majority of rappers' (including Eminem) talent, but I'm just not a rap fan. Back on topic, although I don't really give a shit who goes over out of Chuck Palumbo and the A-Train, if I had to choose, I'd probably choose A-Train. Why? Because most of his matches involve him, as a hoss, being carried, thus making him seem better than he actually is.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2004 Steven Richards (GM) b Hurricane (who once beat Rock) Hey, Stevie finally got his job back from Hurricane! [Hurricane beat Stevie on Heat at last year's JD]
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 6, 2004 Can anyone else see the company sending Val Venis on an "extended vacation" soon?
Guest drdrainoscott Report post Posted April 6, 2004 Can anyone else see the company sending Val Venis on an "extended vacation" soon? I have a feeling that Val will be around forever since he is a home grown talent. He'll probably move to Smackdown after Judgement Day and become the evil pornstar and challenge Eddy at Summerslam. Vyce 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2004 Why do they keep dicking us Stevie fans around? Face turn, or new heel turn, give us a Stevie push!
Guest Deviant Report post Posted April 7, 2004 "Slam Shady" would be better than "FU". At least the former is so pathetic it's funny, whereas "FU" is just sad...

Now that John Cena isn't feuding with Brock Lesnar, let alone not being in the company, it's not too clever, but the name has gotten over.
thuganomics 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2004 Val Venis will be around for awhile because he's related to Edge by marriage and is firmly entrenched in friendships with Y2J, Christian, and Edge. Quite frankly, I'd bet its the same reason that Lance Storm still has his position with WWE.
