Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I always just thought Edge and Christian rolled off the tounge much smoothly than Christian and Edge. Yes, especially seeing as that's their most popular title.
justsoyouknow Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Well, once they banned Piledrivers, most of Rhino's moveset was cut out. He could still be booked as a monster, just book him how he was in ECW...make him the enforcer of a chickenshit heel, make him nearly impossible to keep down, and for the love of God, let him Gore someone through a table. I fucking loved when he did that.
Guest Goodear Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Maybe its just me, but Rhyno sucked something fierce in ECW as far as matches were concerned. How many matches did he actually have that were all gore and piledriver? It was only once he got comfortable in WWE when he started to blossom during the Jericho series with a bunch of really nifty old school moves that no one else was pulling out. Once he came back from injury, he lost all that and basically slowed down his intensity so much that he wasn't the fun wrestler to watch that he was before. This (for once) is an actual time when WWE pushed a guy according to his talent and when the performances went down in quality, so did his push.
notJames Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Rhyno's okay, but he doesn't have the look, size, or presence to upgrade past RAW JTTS. And truth be told, his mystique in ECW stemmed from the fact that he was able to curse left and right and put women through tables. He should just play someone's henchman, like a modern-day Virgil. That's about as good as it'll get for him from here on out.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I've never been a big fan of Rhyno. There are several guys on the roster that could play the same role just as well.
Ravenbomb Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I actually miss the Network...those were the days...
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Yes, vivisectvi, Rhyno is (at least right now) a boring worker. And yet they put him in a no-build Pay-Per-View match at No Way Out against Hardcore Holly.
TheBigSwigg Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 make him the enforcer of a chickenshit heel Rhyno as an enforcer would be great. I can't see him getting higher than the midcard, regrettably, as I love Rhyno, but he would be a great Arn Anderson to someone's Ric Flair. Maybe have him help someone work their way up the ladder to the IC title, and then act as if it was all their fault. He gets pissed and they feud. Sounds good to me.

You know I sorta see Batista with that role at the moment, since him and Flair are always tagging. But your right about Rhyno, he should be somewhat an enforcer in a stable. He's a power house and doesn't backdown so it basically makes sense, but then again WWE is using Batista as the same way. So maybe thats why WWE isn't doint that with Rhyno since their on the same show.
justsoyouknow Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Imagine how much JR would cream his jeans if Rhyno formed Evolution, forming a Batista/Rhyno tag team.
Scroby Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 That could be a good tag team...IF 80% of the tag divison wasn't on Smackdown.
