Guest glennsoe Report post Posted April 9, 2004 WWE took the link to Terri's photos and Videos on WWEDivas.com off of the main page, however it is still available if you go to http://divas.wwe.com/terri/index.html . The same goes for Shaniqua, as you can go to http://divas.wwe.com/shanequa/index.html Note from Buck: I don't know how long WWE will leave those pages up, so if you want one last look at these Divas, this is your chance! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Last night on the site, Buck Woodward reported that WWE would be canceling Confidential. Travis P. sent this follow up, with a lot more information on the story. … Spike TV is shaking up its schedule starting May 3rd. WWE Velocity will now air at 7 pm EST and WWE Sunday will air at 10 am Sundays. Car and Driver TV and Horsepower TV will be airing Saturdays 10-12 midnight EST Saturdays. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In even more evidence that WWE considers RAW as the 'A' show and Smackdown! as the 'B' show, they have unveiled a new feature on WWE.com that highlights the Top 5 Moments of the week. Well, for the week of April 5th, there are 4 RAW moments and only one Smackdown! moment. The top 5 are: 1. The debut of Eugene 2. Shelton Benjamin's second upset 3. Mick Foley's promo with 'Barbie' 4. Evolution beatdown at the end of RAW 5. Eddie Guerrero and the Great American Steal ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Reader Brad Jackson sent an email to WWE’s Fan Services to voice his displeasure to the character of Eugene. Here is the response he was sent back. Brad: Thank you for your email to WWE. We have introduced a new character on WWE Monday Night RAW, Eugene Dinsmore. Eugene is a person with a mental disability. His dream is to become a professional wrestler. WWE intends to portray the character of Eugene as a hero, as are the many people with disabilities around the world (many of whom are WWE fans) who must everyday face challenges to live the type of life many of us take for granted. Eugene, despite his disability, will get a chance to achieve his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. We hope that Eugene's story will encourage other people with disabilities to strive to achieve their dreams, whatever they may be. Story background: In the recent edition of Monday Night RAW, viewers learned that Eric Bischoff, an underhanded schemer, has a nephew named Eugene. At the behest of Bischoff's sister, he has let his nephew Eugene join RAW to pursue his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. Bischoff tricks the despicable William Regal, a slimy, upper crust Englishman, to manage Eugene. Upon meeting Eugene and seeing he has a mental disability, Regal immediately complains about his task, similar to how many people who are uncaring and ignorant initially react to the mentally handicapped. However, Eugene will persevere and he ultimately will get his chance to perform in the ring. WWE is very grateful you took the time to contact us, and we thank you for your email. So there you go folks. It will be interesting to see in what direction they go with the character. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As reported earlier this morning, Jim Ross is being moved to a new position in the WWE and is being replaced as head of talent relations by John Laurinaitis. Ross had indicated both publically and privately over the past several months that he would like to start winding things down to lighten his work load. In recent months Laurinaitis had taken over more and more of Ross' duties at talent relations, and the move today comes as no surprise. There will likely be some speculation by some that the move is in some way related to the recent contract dispute involving Steve Austin. Ross has been one of Austin's biggest allies in the company. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Why did this need to be posted? Because he posts every single little tidbit, regardless of how insignificant. Nevermind that there's zero opinion added in to make the post seem somewhat justified. Seriously, shit like this is what needs to be erased from the folder and the same trash that people like Loss was trying to stop in here. Well, it hasn't stopped (gotten worse actually) and gee, I wonder why he's stopped his mission to turn this folder around.
