Raven and Gabe Sapoltzy on WOL

ROH didn't handle the situation perfectly at all (then again, I don't expect perfection).  I never denied that.  I only question how poorly they really did handle it when you take all the false "facts" and claims from others out of the equation.

ROH handled things very poorly. They have not done themselves any favors. Even with the way Gabe handled that caller on Meltzer. Telling him goobye like that when he was bringing up some reasonable points is not something they'd teach in public relations/crisis management class. I'm not saying this makes them in the wrong or anything, but they have provided fuel to the "RF is still around" fire.

I agree that ROH has handled this situation poorly. But one thing that nobody think about is that unlike the WWE they don't have a PR department to do all that stuff for them. So this is the first time ANYONE in the professional side of ROH has had to do anything like this.........

ok, they're excused then.

I'm not saying excuse them, I'm just stating the reason why everything was handled so poorly.....

They don't need a PR department. The majority of the stupid things they've done in the past few weeks could have been prevented if someone in their organization just used some goddamn common sense.

They didn't. They were, and to a large extent (as can be seen in the WOL show) still are, inept in their p.r. efforts. If you're going to act like Gabe did on the show, then you're going to have to expect that people are still goign to give you shit.

That makes NO SENSE though. What is the point of doing something that doesn't proove anything?

How about this - it would help with the p.r. mess they've put themselves in. If they can't even be bothered with getting a small thing like a notarization of their documents, if ALL they do is the bare minimum "under the law" to indicate that Feinstein has left, if they don't even answer reasonable questions like the one posed on the show (i.e., if Feinstein was bought out, how did they come up with the money for it?), if they, frankly, continue to half-ass tings, and then still expect everyone to believe RF is really gone because they throw out comments like "Oh, he's not here because if he was here we wouldn't be here", they're going to have to realize that people (like me) are NOT going to take them at face value and are going to think less of them for the shitty way they're handling things.

It really doesn't, since they originally decided not to change it because sales were back to normal.

And there you go. They didn't want to change it because SALES ARE BACK TO NORMAL!? I guess it doesn't matter if their company is named after a child molestor as long as sales still come in. Well it's good to see where ROH's priorities are. Heck, the show after the scandal they had their biggest crowd ever! Heck, why even bother getting rid of Rob himself if business remains good? <_<

My point on the noterization thing still is that the thing they "couldn't be bothered to do" is entirely irrelevant to whether Feinstein is there or not. I almost have trouble putting it into words because it seems so obvious. You are faulting them for not doing something that is completely irrelevant to begin with. The notery stamp wouldn't prove that the documents are legal and/or true. So why would you even EXPECT them to get a notary stamp and hold it against them? I know I am repeating myself, but I just don't see how this alludes you that you are holding it against them for not doing something that wouldn't prove anything.

They've done more than say "He's not here because ROH wouldn't be here if he was." They provided legal paperwork signed by the corporate attorney. Doug made himself personally liable if Feinstein is still found with the company. They've done these things which are about as much proof as anyone is going to be able to get in a case like this. Yet people just chose to ignore it.

God you're a fucking dipshit. Read the thread. Gabe said today that they are in the process of changing it.

No, you're a dipshit. You said this:

It really doesn't, since they originally decided not to change it because sales were back to normal.

You were justifying their assinine logic which apparently you somehow condone. That's what I was referring to, so don't flame me, fanboy.

As for them changing their mind again, I don't know why you're supirsed that I wouldn't be made aware of this since it's not like this rinky dink company has been clear about ANYTHING. Oh, and by the way, I'll believe the name change when I see it...

Geez, was the short bus low on room today?

BPS said something about people being hesitant to send money to RF Video. I said that sales were back to normal, so it wasn't a factor. Are you in ESL?

You have about as much class as the sleazy front of a promotion you so blindly support. Funny about how a school bus was the first anaology that popped into your head. <_<

My final thought on this, is until they actually change their name, (the fact that they even thought about keeping the name because sales weren't dropping is disgusting) and release all verification of the ownership transfer I will not believe a word they say...
