RVD VS. BOOKER T; RICO & MISS JACKIE RETURN!

April 15, 2004

SmackDown! comes to you next week from Indianapolis, where former World Tag Team Champions will face each other in one-on-one action. Rob Van Dam and Booker T used to be the closest of friends, but Booker T’s recent attitude change has put him at odds with nearly everybody – including his friends. Last week, RVD and Booker T were once again partners, when Booker suddenly abandoned RVD, leaving Van Dam to be defeated by the Big Show and Charlie Haas. Immediately, General Manager Kurt Angle set this match up for Thursday night.

As announced a week ago, Rico and Miss Jackie will make their runway arrival this week on SmackDown! Rico and Miss Jackie were once known as two of the most flamboyant RAW Superstars to ever enter the ring. Their introduction to SmackDown! fans should be every bit as wild as their best moments on RAW. Don’t miss the debut of this duo on SmackDown!

Last week, Angle announced John Bradshaw Layfield as the winner of the Great American Award and No. 1 Contender for the WWE Championship. Almost immediately, the stakes between JBL and Eddie Guerrero were raised when Guerrero stole and destroyed Bradshaw’s trophy. After two straight weeks of Guerrero destroying property of JBL, will the new No. 1 Contender have a reaction? When will these two finally meet for the WWE Championship? Look to SmackDown! for the answers.

All of this and more on SmackDown! at 8/7 CT on UPN

This is the Episode of Smackdown we all have been waiting for... All for the wrong reasons!

I will be definitely surprised if this thread goes beyond two pages.

The 5 for the spoilers should be included when discussing how long the Smackdown discussion goes, in my opinion.

I'll be watching tonight...car crash factor.

You know, that's a great idea.

Spoiler:

And oh my God! John Layfield is ripping off from Orton's stuff against Foley. Nice opening promo by Eddie Guerrero!

So... I'm the only one who's watching just to see Show kill Angle?

Ok, I gotta admit... I'm being entertained by this episode of Smackdown. I mean, I've actually liked the matches, and segments so far.

Maybe it's just cause I've missed it for the last three weeks, but I gotta admit it has been pretty decent - good today.

Edit: Figure, I quote the wrong person instead of the right person. Originally.

It's Blackman's old music.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. I kinda miss Blackman. It's Party Time!

EIGHT minutes is all it took for me to change the channel. Way to go Vince, you suck again. Time to watch Braves vs. Mets.

I gotta admit, I liked the anti-Eddie propaganda commercial. I'm still digging the JBL gimmick. Although I'll probably change my mind once Bradshaw gets back in the ring...

I guess no one understands everytime I make posts of "I despise Bradshaw and this gimmick is stupid", even though I do it a lot this week.

I'm sorry, I don't really keep tabs on what everybody here thinks. I was just stating my opinion.

Well, Big Show adds a +1 to Smackdown, but the first 15 minutes is a -938. Hey, John Cena. OK, it's getting better.

Well... there's some positivity.

Well, I too despise Bradshaw. I think my posts against him speak for themselves. But this gimmick is entertaining to me. It's better than the beer-drinking, flag-waving, Steve Austin Lite thing he was doing before.

I hate Bradshaw...period. I didn't like the APA...ever. I didn't like him as a Blackjack, I didn't like him as Stan Hansen Jr. in 1996, and I really don't like him now.

And what happened to Chavocito's "WCW Eddie music."

There you go. I'm just glad they gave Booker his old music back.
