That collection kicks all kinds of ass, I listen to it regulary

I remember getting into the Cabs when I really started to get into electronic music. They are one of my favorite groups of all time, and The Crackdown is my favorite album from the 80's.

I suppose that yeah, context n all is the main thing, but I love shite organ lines and the twatting of banjos. Seriously.

I don't really like Ray Manzarek solo, no.

Since it's a damp, dark, gloomy day today, I'm in the mood to finally gonna give the rest of Loveless a shot. "Sometimes" is really good; "I Only Said" makes its point but never gets out of the way (see also: "How Soon Is Now?")

John Petrucci - Suspended Animation; Damage Control kicks all kinds of ass.

I'm looking forward to Satriani's new album, Super Colossal.

How's that Can album?

It's great. Granted, the chanting/yelling in the song "Soup" gets annoying, but it's still an awesome album.

Tago Mago, Ege Bamyasi, and Future Days are generally considered to be the peak of Can's discography -- their Damo Suzuki trilogy. I myself am a huge fan of the band throughout every phase of their existance, so those aren't necessarily my favorites, but for a relatively casual Can fan (I'm talking to you, Czech) Ege Bamyasi is perfect. It's widely considered to be lightyears ahead of Monster Movie and Soon Over Babaluma, although I myself rank all three of those albums pretty damn closely. But yes. You should, like, go buy it, and stuff.
