The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I want either one of the DTs or Will Smith (just because I don't know what's up with Udeze's injuries). Either that or try to trade down a bit and get one of those later.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 he wants Will Smith if he knows what's good for him
Agent_Bond34 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Raging Psycho81 Add me to the chat, if you want. Now I'm hoping Vince Wilfork falls to #16. The 49ers NEED a good run-stuffing defensive tackle.
BX Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Hopefully, no one will grab Steven Jackson before Dallas does. Either way, we've got some great RBs to choose from.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 no way Wilfork gets past the Bears, sorry to say. They love him.

Agent_Bond34 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Shit EDIT - That was in response to the Bears being at 14.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Lee Evans I guess. *sigh* They must really want to replace Price.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I was right! Lee Evans! Now for Drew Bledsoe to be resigned~!
KingPK Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Bills go with offense. Not sure if that was the BEST decision.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I now see the downfall with hiring an offensive coach.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Bills were 30th in the league on Offense so they needed something.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I was right! Lee Evans! Now for Drew Bledsoe to be resigned~! That's hialrious. Poor, poor Bills. They could have taken a WR in the 2nd round.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 They need to RUN THE BALL. Taking a WR in the first doesn't help me do that. The only upside is that Moulds isn't getting any younger and he's had injury concerns popping up.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 with a draft full of recievers, shouldn't you wait to see which ones fall too low instead of doing, oh, I dont know, the exact opposite?
2GOLD Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 It was a need area, puts pressure on Reed to improve and hopefully gives Moulds a chance to get back to form. But the defense has been dismantled to hell as well. I don't know, I think it was a good move.

They should have gone D and waited for the second round to move up a little to grab Devery Henderson if you need speed.

Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 the running game is the only thing that wasn't a problem. ok, the're LB's are good too. point is this pick sucks.

You're all missing my point. My point is that they CAN run the ball well...and still called pass after pass after pass. A new coach coming in and saying "I'm running the ball" and then picking a speed reciever doesn't breed confidence.
the pinjockey Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I think he was talking offensive philosophy. By drafting a WR they show they plan on having an air it out offense still.
2GOLD Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 He sent Mike Williams out of the country??? WTF?
