The 2004 NFL Draft

Damn, the Broncos are gonna be tough for the Raiders.

But do the Broncos need another RB?

They need another big time RB after trading Portis

But the Broncos are so smart with picking RBs that the team can make a 10th round pick into a 1000 yard player.

They wouldn't look nearly as smart if it wasn't for their Oline.

It'll catch up to them...sooner or later

I don't have a problem with the Andrews pick itself. Tra Thomas sucked last year and will probably be released after next year.

But to give up a 2nd in a deep draft and pass up on Jackson hurts.

If Dallas doesn't get Jackson, they get Kevin Jones from VT.

Either way, I think the Cowboys are in good shape.

Oops, guess I was right the first time.

Vikings got screwed. Guess they take the One Armed Man now.

The Broncos and Eagles didn't pick bad players, or even guys that dont help them, but they both moved up to get Jackson and then passed on him. Seems wasteful.

I guess the Vikings go DL or DE, the Dolphins go O-Line and the Pats will go CB or RB although they could sit back and grab Chris Perry in the late round even though I hate him.

Which leaves the Cowboys with either Jones or Jackson.

Aren't Gallery and Andrews the only Olinemen worthy of first round this year? Miami won't reach for one...would they.

I bet Miami reaches for a reciever instead. And someone should tell ESPN they pick 20, not 19.

With the Vikings O-line they weren't going to grab Carey. Dolphins remain stupid and I'm loving it (ba da ba ba bahm)

ok two questions

1. why the hell did Miami move up

2. with Carey gone, could the Pats go for Jackson? (i think they should take Wilfork)

The trade may have been on Minnesota's part, since their guy(Will Smith) was gone.

Wilfork isn't a DT that would make a good NT for our 3-4 scheme. I could see the Pats grabbing Jackson. Dillon be the main back for the next 2 seasons and then Jackson take over from there.

yeah but Miami switched with Minnesota for a guy Minnesota didn't even want, who logic dictates would then be picked by Miami.

wait, I've gone crosseyed
