The 2004 NFL Draft

Mike Sherman sucks as a GM..

The proof came in when the little ESPN thing reminded me that only Barnett and Peterson had any playing time of all the rookies we drafted last year.

Where's Ron Wolf dammit.....

My name is J.P. Losman. I'm going to hold on to this ball until Ellis puts me through the turf. I suck...and for extra fun...I cost a first rounder next year too!

You guys need a DB? Because we need a QB with a strong arm and mobility...

Too bad about giving up the first rounder. Suckers. At least we'll have Favre for another year or two.

I'll reiterate my point from way earlier in this thread... What the fuck is it with teams drafting so many QB's when there's already a perfectly fine QB in place already? San Diego is a fine example (Drew Brees), and same with New York (Kerry Collins), and Buffalo (Drew Bledsoe). I can understand Pittsburgh's reasoning since Maddox is getting on in years and isn't a superstar at QB. But I don't get why pushing the reset button always goes with a QB. If you have no offensive line, no running game, and noone to throw to, what good is having another QB on the roster??

Raiders should have chosen Rivers and Chargers should have taken Gallery.

That much I know, but why did he retire and then go to the fucking Browns and then quit again? He should have come back to Green Bay.

Lions get an A+ for their draft thus far. No reason for Harrington to faulter now with them bringing in Roy Williams(WR), Kevin Jones, and Damien Woody via FA

That's a good pick for Detroit. They need a running game, and now they also have a receiver to complement Charles Rogers.

If not this year, the Lions may be a playoff team in the next few years. Especially if the NFC North continues to suck.

I dunno about the Pats, but I'll agree with either a CB or OL, and MAYBE a WR (if there is still a good one there)

Either Shawnte Spencer, Will Poole, or Sean Jones with 32(unless they trade down)

in the second round they grab Chris Snee(another great BC Eagle born lineman)

I don't know about that. Green Bay has a good offense with Favre and Green. The Vikes have an excellent offense with Culpepper/Moss/Bennett. The Lions have a great raw offense, but they don't have a defense at the same levels as GB or Minnesota.

Detroit will be an offensive juggernaut in the future though.
