ANKLELOCK Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 AWESOME! My Titans get Houston's 2nd, 3rd, 4th, AND 5th round picks! Now we can get a DLineman and a Back in the 2nd round alone!
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Mike Sherman sucks as a GM.. The proof came in when the little ESPN thing reminded me that only Barnett and Peterson had any playing time of all the rookies we drafted last year. Where's Ron Wolf dammit.....
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 That's a big haul for Tennessee. I'm really suprised the Texans would give up that many picks.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Did the Falcons trade up to get Dansby?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 My name is J.P. Losman. I'm going to hold on to this ball until Ellis puts me through the turf. I suck...and for extra fun...I cost a first rounder next year too!
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Falcons still looking for a Wide Reciever to try and get double coverage off of Peerless Price.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I set the BPS funny picture quotes in motion.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 dear god, Houston really did trade all those picks.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I set the BPS funny picture quotes in motion. I was going for accuracy with this one.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 If KC is smart, they trade down to switch with San Fran and get Randy Starks. Or they trade it with Detroit?!?!!
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 My name is J.P. Losman. I'm going to hold on to this ball until Ellis puts me through the turf. I suck...and for extra fun...I cost a first rounder next year too! You guys need a DB? Because we need a QB with a strong arm and mobility... Too bad about giving up the first rounder. Suckers. At least we'll have Favre for another year or two. I'll reiterate my point from way earlier in this thread... What the fuck is it with teams drafting so many QB's when there's already a perfectly fine QB in place already? San Diego is a fine example (Drew Brees), and same with New York (Kerry Collins), and Buffalo (Drew Bledsoe). I can understand Pittsburgh's reasoning since Maddox is getting on in years and isn't a superstar at QB. But I don't get why pushing the reset button always goes with a QB. If you have no offensive line, no running game, and noone to throw to, what good is having another QB on the roster?? Raiders should have chosen Rivers and Chargers should have taken Gallery.
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 That much I know, but why did he retire and then go to the fucking Browns and then quit again? He should have come back to Green Bay.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Looks like the Lions are gonna take Jones.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Will Poole seems to have fallen into oblivion
HarleyQuinn Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Detroit takes Kevin Jones, nice little pick there
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I bet the Pats take Poole
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Lions get an A+ for their draft thus far. No reason for Harrington to faulter now with them bringing in Roy Williams(WR), Kevin Jones, and Damien Woody via FA
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 so Detroit has Harrington, Jones, Rogers and Roy Williams.
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 That's a good pick for Detroit. They need a running game, and now they also have a receiver to complement Charles Rogers.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I love Eli trying to look hard and lifting weights and shit. Grrrrr!
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 so Detroit has Harrington, Jones, Rogers and Roy Williams. They also have Tai Streets and Az-Zahir Hakim. They could run five-wide and have four legit threats.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Marcus Tubbs I liked him better in Miami Vice
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 or they could run 4 wide and have 5 legit threats
KingPK Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 If not this year, the Lions may be a playoff team in the next few years. Especially if the NFC North continues to suck. I dunno about the Pats, but I'll agree with either a CB or OL, and MAYBE a WR (if there is still a good one there)
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Either Shawnte Spencer, Will Poole, or Sean Jones with 32(unless they trade down) in the second round they grab Chris Snee(another great BC Eagle born lineman)
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 If not this year, the Lions may be a playoff team in the next few years. Especially if the NFC North continues to suck. I dunno about the Pats, but I'll agree with either a CB or OL, and MAYBE a WR (if there is still a good one there) I don't know about that. Green Bay has a good offense with Favre and Green. The Vikes have an excellent offense with Culpepper/Moss/Bennett. The Lions have a great raw offense, but they don't have a defense at the same levels as GB or Minnesota. Detroit will be an offensive juggernaut in the future though.
