Agent_Bond34 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 We need a "FUCK YOU ELI" chant to start. HAHAHAHA YES!! That was the chant incomplete from all of this. Would've been gold.
Kahran Ramsus Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Raiders take Gallery. That's who New York really needed.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Raiders take Gallery, the smart choice.
2GOLD Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 No shock there but I don't get these first two picks at all. The Raiders needed a helluva lot more than a lineman and the Chargers drafted a guy who hates them. Still, least Oakland got a player.
KingPK Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I think it's a lock that the Giants take BenRo now.
2GOLD Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I think it's a lock that the Giants take BenRo now. Sounds to me like they might take Rivers and trade him to SD.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 The Chargers are morons. Eli basically said that he will sit out the season and re-enter the draft next year. The Chargers should have taken Gallery, grabbed a guy that might actually want to play for the team, instead of wasting their pick.
Agent_Bond34 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Is it me, or has this whole Eli Manning thing made the draft a little more interesting... ?
Kahran Ramsus Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Very nice pick. I like Gallery, but the Raiders have so many friggin holes right now, I'm not sure how much he will help. They need to start changing their skill positions...AND FAST!
2GOLD Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Who the hell are the Cards going to grab? I guess Fitz but do they really need WRs? They have Johnson and Bouldin. Or do they take Big Ben I'd say Big Ben.
Cartman Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 It will be Fitz. Warner likes having multiple stud WR targets
Guest OctoberBlood Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Is it me, or has this whole Eli Manning thing made the draft a little more interesting... ? If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't waste my time watching it. I care very little about football anyways. The Eli ordeal has made it more interesting. So... FUCK ELI for wasting my time.
KingPK Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Is it me, or has this whole Eli Manning thing made the draft a little more interesting... ? It's the first draft in a while where the #1 pick wasn't painfully obvious and had already signed a contract with the team. I think the Cardinals have gone on record saying they aren't taking a QB at 3. I could see them taking Fitzgerald (Madden 2005's new coverboy). EA's slow on updating the pictures this year.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 They're taking Fitz. They can sign Kurt Warner and have a pretty good offense.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I give Banky props, he was right on Gallery The Cardinals shouldn't even be on the clock...we know they're taking Fitzgerald
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Cardinals decided on Fitz weeks ago, Denny Green loves him. is there anywhere else I can watch this? I put ESPN on mute about 5 seconds after I turned it on.
2GOLD Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Let us remember, this IS the Arizona Cardinals now. I won't be shocked if they draft an offensive lineman from the University of Delaware.
the pinjockey Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I don't see the Cards picking up Warner. If Green wasn't high enough on McCown, they would probably go QB here. They look like they could be a dangerous offense in a hurry with Boldin, Fitz, and Shipp.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 The Cardinals have wasted 10min of our life by pulling a Zybsko stall
the pinjockey Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I am eagerly anticipating the yearly shot of the guy in the green room who was invited but slipped big time and is depressed.
Agent_Bond34 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Damn you Arizona. Damn you for bringing Larry Fitzgerald to the NFC West.
Guest MikeSC Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 OMG.. I hate this kid. You know, I don't get the Eli hate. He doesn't want to play for SD. It's not like HE went public with this. SD went public with this, only guaranteeing that he'll NEVER sign with them as they embarrassed him and his father. If somebody REALLY doesn't want to play for somebody, why it so wrong to quietly tell them so? Again, if the Bolts didn't go public and picked, say, Rivers --- nobody would have given a damn. -=Mike ...Of course, they also lose A LOT of trading power now. A pick is FAR easier to trade than a draft pick everybody knows will not sign with you
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I am eagerly anticipating the yearly shot of the guy in the green room who was invited but slipped big time and is depressed. Roy Williams maybe
the pinjockey Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 The Chargers had to go public, though, because what do they tell their fans if they pass on Manning for some secret reason.
the pinjockey Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I was thinking Tommie Harris. I think he was invited.
