OK, explain this to me

I mean seriously, what is the fucking point of having the brand split, having the competition when RAW is always going to be booked better than SD?

If only Chris Kreski (sp?) would return....

Did he quit or was he pushed out to make room for Stephanie?

He quit because of the traveling schedule.

Actually Raw just started getting the better of SD post WMXX. Before that, everyone here used to suck the SD Cock of workrate. Now SD is fucking atrocious.

To add, the brand split just gets more tv time for other guys. The Main Eventers, most of whom are burnt out already save for Benoit and Guerrero, would get stale quicker since there is only one brand, the WWE brand, to watch. The brand split just splits TV time and nothing else. As the numbers have shown, there are no Smackdown only fans or Raw only fans in terms of serious numbers. Sure, some folks only get to watch one show or the other, but most people who watch WWE watch both brands because they are WWE fans and don't distinguish the two brands.

And as far as Vince Russo goes, you can say whatever you want about him, but just take a look at the numbers he helped to produce when he and Ed Ferrera Co-Wrote WWF/E T.V. (I.E. T.V. Ratings,Live Attandance,PPV Buys, Overall Interest, Etc.), and compare and contrast them with the numbers of the past 2-3 years. Russo Haters tend to forget these things while bashing him.

Of course, Russo and Ferrara(sp) also had Stone Cold at the height of his popularity and an emerging Rock, as well. Not to mention the retooled DX for the midcard comedy.

While Russo and Co. did come up with shit for midcarders to do to get noticed at the time, they also had the aforementioned safety net to save the show if said midcarders couldn't get the gimmicks over unlike what happened in WCW when said safety net wasn't there.

Well, this week creative continued to push bradshaw and they KILLED Kurt Angle................. so if they ever did come up for anything for Rey to do it's most likely to be bad, so maybe it's for the best.

Him with Kidman is a logical thing to do because they have a tag history, are extremely over when they are teamed together and SD is running low on Tag Faces. A Dudleys/Filthy Anilmas is fresh and could be great.

Rey hasn't really been mixed with heavyweights so any matches there would be pretty fresh. Putting Rey against someone the size of RVD or even Booker T is a completely different story to putting him against Show. He worked brilliantly with some of the medium sized wrestlers, such as angle, edge and eddie, I don't see why he can't be put in a feud with Haas or Booker T (after he finishes with RVD)

The Uncreative team only has ideas for people with no talent like Batista,Orton,Atrain and Bradshaw, but if a former WCW,ECW wrestler has talent or if he is over then they can't come out with anything.

I don't understand how angle could have possibly landed like that (refering to the pic in humongous' sig) There is no reason for his leg to be bent like that after a choke slam onto his back. There's no way, even if he was strugling.

And yes, WWE always seems to find something for the less talented to do. WWE is at least making an effort to get young talent over, they're just the wrong guys for the job.

Sorry, but I remember, too well, the stuff he did when he had some power and how absolutely mind-blowingly asinine WWF booking was in 1999 (noticeable when you watched WWF in 2000 and saw how a company is SUPPOSED to be booked)

Like I said as long as Russo isn't head writer I wouldn't have a problem. Besides you can also blame the other Vince for green lighting the shit in the first place.

If there wasn't a brand split do you really think we would be talking about WWE champion Eddie Guerrero and World champion Chris Benoit? Or how John Cena's gimmick has done wonders for his career? I don't think so.

In essence though, Vince generally only tends to focus on the main event scene, so I can't see problems with the midcarders really being his fault. (although it could be that everything Vince has an interest in gets pushed to the main event regardless of whether it's working or not RE: Bradshaw)
