Guest slacklet Report post Posted April 28, 2004 10:00 - I just saw a commercial. Last episode of the season
Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 It was just a retrospective on the musical guests. I skipped it.
Guest slacklet Report post Posted April 28, 2004 Only the Mos Def performance was old, everything else was never aired. Great show.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 I never really cared about the music performances, so I'm glad that's all it was (I forgot it was on tonight)
Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 Only the Mos Def performance was old, everything else was never aired. Great show. No. It's called Comedy Central, so give me comedy, not a show of musical performances. If I wanted music, I'd watch MTV (let's just pretend they play music here). Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 So that's what the "all new episode" was? Beh, glad I taped the Shield then.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 28, 2004 It wasn't just music, even though the Kweli performance was awesome (it's something that's going to be on the new album and looks like it's going to have a more Reflection Eternal feel to it, and was from the Wayne Brady sho), they had snoop and some pimp reading poetry which was some funny shit. I only caught part of the show because I was watching the Shield.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 Only the Mos Def performance was old, everything else was never aired. Great show. Was it the most def performance where they were in the car and he was rapping "Close". I GOT to have that shit on mp3 man. That was hot.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 28, 2004 Yes. It is so damn good.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 I normally skip the musical guests, so that episode was Ok. And I hadn't seen Blackzilla and the Player Haters Ball yet, so that one was a great episode to catch. I literally laughed out loud 2 or 3 times. Chappelle's show is the funniest show on TV, bar none. Nothing else is even close.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 28, 2004 Having Mos Def and Kweli perform once each helped this show out alot. Factor in the Snoop stuff, and I couldn't care what else was on. Player's Ball is classic.
Mik 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 This show was worth it for Snoop's essay. He was just ramblin' shit off at the end. Chuuch. Titty 1, Titty 2. Prophet Eli The episode was also good for Dave's total dissing of the Oops Pow Surprise guy.
syxx2001 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 I always thought it was Poof Pow, not Oops Pow.
