I bought this 2-disc DVD at a Sanity sale a while back, Pearl Jam, LIVE at Madison Square Garden, and finally got around to watching it today, and I have to say...

What a fucking awesome concert.

Anyone have this DVD? Opinions? If not, get it - it's definitely worth whatever price it may be, and is the best concert that I've seen in quite a while.

I have it, and it's fantastic. You may also want to check out "Touring Band 2000", their DVD from their 2000 tour. Instead of 1 concert, it's a bunch of songs from various concerts put together to look like 1 concert. If you like PJ, and liked "Live at the Garden", definitely get "Touring Band".

I've seen 'Touring Band' at the store, but have never thought to get it.

I bought this DVD when I bought 'Vitalogy', and they're both great, and damn does that concert sound good through those subwoofers!

Get "Touring Band". 25+ songs, 3 or 4 additional w/ "Matt-cam", plus features on their European & American tours (accompanied by more PJ songs), plus the music videos for "Do The Evolution" and "Oceans" (European-exclusive MTV video).

PJ made videos off Ten for:

-Evenflow

-Alive

-Jeremy

-Oceans (European-exclusive, basically just clips of the band vacationing in Hawaii)

After that, they stopped making videos period, except for "Do The Evolution" off Yield, which was an animated video made by Todd McFarlane.

Live at the Garden is am amazing DVD, the concert is just classic. Touring band is good, but I think the Gardens one is a bit better. Especially after I think "do the evolution" he comes back on the stage and says the stage started jumping up and down the crowd was so crazy.... Fucking deadly.

Actually, last year the band made five music videos for play in Australia and Europe. They filmed videos for I Am Mine, Save You, Love Boat Captain, 1/2 Full and Thumbing My Way. They were pretty much just the band playing in an empty club, but each video was a little different than the other. Save You was the most "music video" of the music videos. I'm pretty sure in Australia they got some good rotation, and I know that Save You was played a good deal in the states on Much Music. They are available to download some places on the web, just look around.

Yes, I also own the dvd. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to watching the second disc yet, but I highly enjoyed the first.
