JoeDirt Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 If they had extra time to kill, I wouldn't have minded seeing Noble vs. Kidman vs. London vs. Spike vs. Nunzio vs. Moore or something like that. Brawl to start, Dupree now working over Cena.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 So Cena/Dupree is now, and UT/Booker, and Eddie/JBL is left? God damn....I might have to buy a copy off someone to see how horrible this show is. As of now, the highest rating someone said was **, and none of these three matches will top that.... Serves WWE fucking right by trying to think people actually cared about this show.
muzz Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 How many times now has Cole told us that the arena is sold out or how many people are there? It's really sad. What do you expect him to say? I mean, shit, he's doing his job.

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 They each miss their ridiculous moves! Does that mean they missed their dropkicks? Damn OVW guys...

Repo Man jr Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 They each miss their ridiculous moves! Does that mean they missed their dropkicks? Damn OVW guys... Nah, that 5 knuckle shuffle and the hilarious french dance thing
JoeDirt Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Frenchy dance gets a pop! Cena counters Rene's finisher into the FU, countered to a reverse neckbreaker for 2. Cena catches Dupree off a slingshot and hits the FU for the clean pin in 11 minutes. Not too bad at all. **1/4 (this rating is inflated due to the shit that's been on the show tonight)
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Cena won? Oh Shit........that doesn't fit to well with my predictions....(prays) Please God, let Eddie win! You can't be that cold~!

Cole: Well, the turnout is pretty dissapointing, I guess we REALLY dropped the ball with this one.
JoeDirt Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Well, unless Taker/T and Eddie/JBL each go a half hour, this show is ending early.
tekcop Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 **1/2. There was a little bit of psychology (the bearhug after Cena's bump to the floor and Cena countering the powerbomb) but other than that it really was really vanilla and you could have replace both workers with just about anyone else in the WWE or OVW and they could have had the exact same match.

Cole: Well, the turnout is pretty dissapointing, I guess we REALLY dropped the ball with this one. It's not that he SAYS it. It's that the WWE continues to hammer home the point the crowd is sold out when it's clearly not. Just forget about the crowd and call the action.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Well, I don't mean he should be truthful, but any idiot (except besus) could realize that the show won't draw dick and the arena isn't even 3/4 full. He can be dis-honest, but not as extreme as "OMG! WE SOLD OUT! LAKERS SUCK! THE ARENA IS PACKED!".

Cole: Welcome ladies and gentlemen, and thank you for joining us for [insert whoever's sponsering this load of crap] presents WWE Judgment Day 2004! Judgment Day is coming to you live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. "Sold out" doesn't ALWAYS have to preceed the name of the event, you know.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Who's the Sonny Chiba look-a-like ? Never seen him before.
Guest Jim Ross Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Anyone care to translate what that Kenzo guy said? And is this the same guy who was supposed to be Hirohito?
Repo Man jr Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Cena felt like the biggest star of the show. The crowd really dug everything.
JoeDirt Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Cena felt like the biggest star of the show. The crowd really dug everything. Yeah, they clearly see him as a huge star and everyone else as blah. Taker/T up next, obviously.
Guest The Minor Threat Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Booker's gotta win. This PPV has been dominated by faces with the exception of Chavo. What kind of reaction did Mordecai get?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Hahahahahaha, Booker T winning....not a chance.

This show would be too bad if it were on TV. Everything other than the women's match and the two sqashes have been at least **. Workrate wise, there were shittier PPV's last year.
Guest The Minor Threat Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Hahahahahaha, Booker T winning....not a chance. Stranger things have happened.
Repo Man jr Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Booker comes out holding his scary creepy tiny stupid looking bag
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Hahahahahaha, Booker T winning....not a chance. I wouldn't say that. He has a VERY good chance of winning... Excuse me. Holy shit, a pig just flew by my window!
