Mean Girls was excellent.

A very smart script, good direction, lots of fun and TIM MEADOWS made me love this movie. I'm probably seeing it again next week.

I'm so happy that Mean Girls was #1. I was worried it'd get lost in the shuffle

Tina wasn't really picked on in high school- she was a mean girl in the sense that she loved finding out information on possible and using it to be mean to them.

Tina was a major nerd and unattractive to boot. So she definetley wasn't a Plastic.

She wanted to do the movie because she read Queen Bees and Wannabes and thought it was hilarious and it'd make a very funny movie

11 Johnson Family Vacation $2,000,000/$27,541,111

12 Hellboy $1,750,000/$57,413,000

You knew Evny was going to bomb. Ads for that movie airing a looooong time ago. Then they pulled it...and now it's finally coming out. I'm guessing they weren't happy with the final cut and just kept tinkering with it. And finally just put it out to get some money back I imagine.

Jesus finally fell out of the top 12.

And Johnson Family looked like it could have done huge numbers with the right push. It did great considering its scree count.

Envy finished filming early last year... we knew it would bomb.

I guess they wanted to throw it out while Black and Stiller are on their current hot streaks.

Well, School of Rock was a hit both money and critic wise, and proved that he could be a good leading man with the right role. That's what I was getting at...

Then, Stiller has had both Along Came Polly and Starsky and Hutch so far this year.

Envy was filmed before all 3 of these movies and they just released it now in an attempt to cash in on their current success.

Example: Vin Diesel post TFATF - A Man Apart, Knockaround Guys.
