Actually, I liked playing with my Battle Beasts even more after the great "whitewash."

 

Instead of having pre-determined armies, I was able to take all the animals I liked and make them one group and all the other ones into another group. I was able to then have an army with my fish monster (he was previously a "water" rep.) my giraffe monster (he was "earth") and my croc monster (fire) fighting on the same side against the lame monsters, like the Buffalo one.
