Scroby 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 Q and A May 8, 2004 Q: What kind of questions don't you answer? A: This was a great question, as I get a lot that I won't. Any questions about creative direction, I always avoid. They aren't really pertinent anymore but it's never good to tip the creative hat. I also don't answer questions that are already answered on my site. I get a lot of questions that could be answered by simply reading my bio. Q: Did you ever wrestle Owen Hart? A: Regrettably no. I only met Owen twice and never had the pleasure of wrestling him. Q: What are your thoughts on the rumours of Ted Turner, Steve Austin, and Goldberg starting a new company? A: I would love to see another company out there. I think the boys need to have more options. I think the competition would be good for WWE as well. I seriously doubt these three will be involved in a new promotion, but who really knows. Starting a company to be legit competition would be next to impossible, in my opinion. Q: What are your thoughts on Lex Luger? A: Personally I got along with Lex quite well. Professionally he was... well...really tall. Q: Which wrestling Stable is your favourite of all time? A: This is always a bias question. You look at things like this differently as a fan than you do as a worker so I tend to always pick stuff from before I broke in. I have to go with the 4 Horseman fan. (Windham, Arn, Tully, and Flair) Q: What did you think of Molly's bald head? A: I think she ended up looking good. She has a very pretty face and managed to pull of being bald. Q: Which ref did you like having officiate your matches? A: I never really had a big preference. All the guys I've worked with have been real good. Q: Would you like to see Sting join WWE? A: I'm a big Sting supporter. I liked him personally and always enjoyed watching him work, but I think the time for this may have passed. Q: Do you have a major career regret? A: Apart from not signing a multi-year 7-figure contract, not really. (LOL) I accomplished more than I ever figured I would. I would have liked to have had my WrestleMania match and had a singles match with Flair, HBK, and Benoit. Q: Thoughts on wrestling fans vs. wrestling critics? A: I think wresting critics are really missing out on the fun, of just being a fan and enjoying the show.? Q: Scariest experience in the ring? A: When I was in ECW I took a Kendo stick shot to the back of the neck and experienced some tingling and brief numbness. It turned out to be just a stinger but it was very scary. I spent most of the night strapped to a back board with a neck brace on, waiting for x-rays. Q: Would you support your kids getting into wrestling? A: I would certainly advise against it and be very disappointed if they did, but if they insisted I suppose I would be supportive. Q: Name the top 5 workers of all time. A: I don't think this can be done. There are too many variable to consider and even then it is too subjective. All I can say for sure is my name would not be appearing. Q: Do you think Bret Hart should do a one night only "Thank you to the fans" return to WWE? A: Bret is the only one who can say whether he "should" or not. I would like to see him back in some capacity, it would be great for the fans and great for wrestling. Q: Thoughts on Hogan as a worker. A: Since you said "worker" I'd say he was great. He was extremely easy to work with and got the most out of doing very little. He knew how to excite people and entertain. Q: Why fanny packs? A: I've answered this a couple of times. They are very convenient when you travel as much as we do. We carry a lot of stuff, wallet, cell phone, passport, cameras, MP3's, etc. When you have to go through metal detectors a lot it's just a whole lot easier to use a fanny pack for your stuff. Well as you can see I'm still going to be doing Q and A commentary so keep those questions coming, and remember, I love point form questions! Lance Credit: Stormwrestling.com Whooooooooo! Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted May 10, 2004 Not bad. I still love how down-to-Earth he is. I must say, he did seem very against his kids getting into wrestling. And by "wrestling critics", do they mean "the assholes on the Internet"?
Guest JMA Report post Posted May 10, 2004 And by "wrestling critics", do they mean "the assholes on the Internet"? Maybe he meant guys like Phil Mushnick.
Scroby 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 I'm guessing its the people who sit there and only watch the show and wait for the bad parts of the show, instead of just being a mixture of being a casual wrestling fan and a smark and just enjoying the show. Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 By that, I think he means info that can be found in his bio/elsewhere on the site, not questions that have already been answered in his Q&A's. I also don't answer questions that are already answered on my site. I get a lot of questions that could be answered by simply reading my bio.
