Oh, I don't know how this could be a thread without the one and only Mike Milbury. I'll add a lot of his blunders as time goes on, but here's a tasty little treat for you hockey aficiandoes:

New York Islanders traded Todd Bertuzzi, Bryan McCabe and 3rd round selection (Jarkko Ruutu) in 1998 to the Vancouver Canucks for Trevor Linden.

Linden hasn't been worth a damn since he left the Canucks the first time...and even then he was a tad overated.

Don't forget about:

Isles get: Alexei Yashin

Senators get: Zdeno Chara, Bill Muckalt and the Isles 2001 first rounder (Jason Spezza).

As a sens fans that's my favorite trade of all-time. :D

Actually you pretty much nailed it on the Kobe deal. He said before the draft he'd only play for the Knicks, Bulls, or Lakers (three bigges t.v. markets). Just another reason to hate the guy.

What a little shit. I hope you get sent to the Bobcats.

I remember that now.

What's more pathetic, is that the Charlotte front office gave into the demands of a HIGH SCHOOLER.

And this is in the day when people didn't know who these kids were until they declared eligibility...they weren't on ESPN and being talked about on SC their entire senior year.
