Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Oh and someone should remind Jacqueline about Medusa. Technically, Medusa and Daffney were WCW Cruiserweight Champions, not WWE Cruiserweight Champions. But THIS Cruiserweight Title is the heritage of the WCW one. The WWF L-HW Title was completely forgotten when X-Pac got injured in late 2001.

This is OUR Cruiserweight Title, and Tajiri was our first champion!</McMahon Mode> ...then again, McMahon probably really wouldn't talk about Cruiserweights. ^_-
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 [McMahon Mode] Tajiri? Who's that, the owner of the chinese restaurant I like?[/McMahon mode]
ChrisMWaters Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 Just noticed...from the side-view of Kurt's leg, it seems like the pants-leg was cut short.
JoeDirt Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I just woke up and missed the first 40 minutes of Smackdown. Did I miss anything important, exciting, or entertaining?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I just woke up and missed the first 40 minutes of Smackdown. Did I miss anything important, exciting, or entertaining? It's Smackdown....you already answered your question.
AlaskanHero Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I just woke up and missed the first 40 minutes of Smackdown. Did I miss anything important, exciting, or entertaining? They announced two matches for JD and Jackie pantsed Chavo Classic. That's 'bout it.
ChrisMWaters Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 I kinda like the "reasoning" for this match. Though poor FBI getting humiliated.
Downhome Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 This right here, this kind of stuff will always be great to me.
JoeDirt Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Did RVD/Rey vs. Duds get a gimmick or anything, or is just a rematch?
ChrisMWaters Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 I missed the older styled Undertaker. No motorcyle Taker is goodness to me.
ChrisMWaters Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 Did RVD/Rey vs. Duds get a gimmick or anything, or is just a rematch? So far, it's just a regular ol' rematch. That may change on Sunday or before the show is over.
AlaskanHero Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 If you're supposed to be dead, where the hell would you hang out backstage? And if you're getting paid for being dead and a wrestler, would you still have to pay taxes?
ChrisMWaters Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 And if you're getting paid for being dead and a wrestler, would you still have to pay taxes? According to Irwin R. Shyster, yes, you would. *REALLY hated IRS back in that 1995 feud with Taker.*
Just call me Dan Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Eddie carries himself so well as champ. I hate to see his best run EVER drown in the cancer that is Smackdown.
ChrisMWaters Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 Hopefully this Guerrero promo doesn't lead to the return of Mr. America.
Downhome Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 This better not end with Eddie being arrested.
Exslade ZX Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Well...I must say the Undertaker segment was actually bad ass...I mean I'm not the hugest Taker fan, but the visuals of Undertaker on the different titantrons just looked cool. Plus the addition of him in the ring. Makes me think of the WCW attack with the line "Is this live...or is this memorex!?" But it was actually played out well, and Undertaker not doing to much is a great thing.
Just call me Dan Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Big problem here: This kind of shit happens to Moolah/Mae every month and the crowd explodes!
JoeDirt Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Eddie carries himself so well as champ. I hate to see his best run EVER drown in the cancer that is Smackdown. It's really a shame. Imagine if instead of the whole Austin/McMahon feud we got Austin/Bradshaw.
ChrisMWaters Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 ... Well my God. Hopefully this means that Eddie retains this Sunday. PLEASE let Eddie retain this Sunday.
NYU Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I think I'm wondering the same thing everyone else is: ...... When did William Hung become a policeman? I mean, same face and everything....
Just call me Dan Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Gotta love how JBL totally owns Eddie while he's in handcuffs. Normally in those instances the babyface is INVINCIBLE! I was expecting a triple knockdown and then an armless frogsplash that sends JBL reeling.

To clear things up: I didn't like Austin circa 2003-2004 at all. Yes I'm an Austin mark but I am also sane.

I like the heel kicking the face's ass when he's prone rather than the usual face overcoming all odds, ala Austin. What's the deal here?
ChrisMWaters Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 And Anglesault should be happy... The Bashams arent getting the tag team title match.
