Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2004 Part of me loves the idea of taking guys who have nothing to do and pairing them up in tag teams so they can actually do something, but why couldn't that have been done with guys like Saturn, Kanyon, Ohaire, etc? Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2004 It totally kills the move. It is a blatant no selling when you take the full impact of a move and then have enough strength to instantly hold a man down for a three count who hasn't taken any immediate punishment. Oh, I could go on and on, just one of my most HATED EVER.
Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2004 Ok...can someone please explain the reason behind Torrie/Dawn. I could see her reffing the US title match or something...but that match is just pointless.

Oh, I could go on and on, just one of my most HATED EVER. I'm just going by what Monsoon called it: the momentum of the move gives the person enough of a chance to get over, then hold down the person, who is surprised by the roll over, for a pin. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2004 I wish just ONCE Rene would mention Andre the Giant in his promos. It's not THAT hard to bring him up.

That old explanation has always made sense, I just hate it as much as any rollup finish. I don't need a finishing move, but at least something that is decisive. How surprised can you be to actually stay pinned for that long with your adrenaline flowing after just kicking out of being slammed on your head at 2? See what I'm getting at? Like Rene Dupree even knows who Andre was....he was 8 years old when Andre died. Of course, someone could script it into his scripted promo.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2004 I wish just ONCE Rene would mention Andre the Giant in his promos. It's not THAT hard to bring him up. What...? Explain..I'm not getting that..:s Andre The Giant was billed "From Grenoble, France...in the French Alps." I figured the Rene character would respect Andre for being a Frenchman...plus a Frenchman who won (even for a minute or so) the now WWE CHampionship.

Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2004 DAMN Cena is over. I'm digging him, but I'm tired of these phone-it-in, made-for-TV, signature move only matches. I hope he really tries to let lose Sunday.
