Ted DiBiase is out and he reveals himself to be the man who gave Hulk Hogan the money to restart Pro Wrestling Hogan so now he owns HOGAN'S SOUL. DiBiase is using his power to make himself the Owner and Hogan will be allowed to be kept on. DiBiase promises to make the life of Hogan a living hell by making him face Virgil and VK Wallstreet of the Million Dollar Corporation in a handicap match tonight. Also, DiBiase will have an announcement next week on how the title situation will be adressed.

Villano IV and Villano V vs The Bushwhackers.

 

Match Background: Vil IV is making his debut at this show. Vil V is making his debut at this show. Butch is making his debut at this show. Luke is making his debut at this show. The Bushwhackers are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion.

 

The Match: Butch takes a chop from Vil IV. Vil IV hits an arm drag on Butch, follows it up with about 3 more and locks in an armbar for good measure. Covers for a quick two count. Bushwhacker Butch elbows Villano IV in the face to break a hammerlock. Villano IV takes a right hand to the temple from Butch. I bet those hurt more than Sgt. Slaughter's Noogies. Bushwhacker Butch hits a sloppy double axe handle off the top. Butch tags out to Bushwhacker Luke. Vil IV takes a vertical suplex, but pops right back up. Villano IV fights out of a grapple. Vil IV tags out to Villano V. Villano IV scoops up Luke. Vil V bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. Bushwhacker Luke takes a knee lift from Vil V. *sigh* Running knee lifts always remind me of the late Curt Hennig. Hooks the leg for a two count. Vil V tries to channel the power of Kawada, but ends up channeling the power of Trish Stratus instead by hitting a high kick on Bushwhacker Luke. Tag between Villano V and Villano IV. Villano IV blasts Luke with a superkick. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Luke counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Tag to Bushwhacker Butch. Vil IV gets splashed in the corner. Villano IV is in big trouble...The Battering Ram!! 1....2....3!

 

My Opinion: Hmm. Only gets * from me.

The Match: Flying elbow off the top rope by Marty Jannetty, getting as close to zero air as possible. Jannetty face jams Doink The Clown. Marty Jannetty blasts Doink with a superkick. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Jannetty hits an arm drag on Doink, follows it up with about 3 more and locks in an armbar for good measure. There's a two count on the pin. Doink The Clown pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Weak bodyslam on Jannetty by Doink sets up a legdrop. Doink The Clown hits a shaky delayed suplex on Jannetty. Davey Boy Smith is looking down from heaven...and shaking his head in disapproval. Jannetty ducks a wild right hand. Back heel kick from Jannetty on Doink but it misses by miles. Doink The Clown gets knocked to the ground by Jannetty, who is already climbing the turnbuckle. Flying Fist Drop!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over.

Hulk Hogan says that DiBiase may have the power, but Hulkamania will still win. Hogan will hold the Big Red and Yellow Title by the end of the day. Hogan asks Wallstreet and Virgil whatcha gonna down with Hulkamania runs wild on you do. I'd run if you ask me.

Another negative star match. and I thought these guys were slacking with all those matches above DUD]

Ted DiBiase makes his way to the ring. DiBiase announces his newest member for the Million Dollar Corporation....NATHAN JONES. Jones was the star of Pro Wrestling Hogan during it's initial run, despite Hogan's bald head(oohh Dibiase's in trouble now) being the name sake. DiBiase gives Nathan Jones a shot at the vacant Yellow and Red Title at The Great American Hogan, in two weeks. Whomever wins a ten man battle royal tonight will face Nathan Jones for the championship on that night. To prove that he is a fair man, DiBiase gives Hogan a warm up match for the Battle Royal against Million Dollar Corporation Wrestler, Tatanka, althrough if Hogan does not pin Tatanka or force him to submit, Hogan is out of the battle royal. Dibiase then makes a Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine vs Van Hammer and Honky Tonk Man tag team match where the winner meets for the 10 Minute Time Limit Title at the Great American Hogan. Also DiBiase mentions there will be a fatal four way match tonight between four of the top tag teams in this fed and they all have a chance to impress DiBiase, as the winners will go on to face DiBiase's chosen champions, Virgil and VK Wallstreet for the vacant tag title belts at the Great American Hogan. As for the United States Title, well he will have a presentation ceremony just to award it to Tatanka next week. That's his ruling and remember....everyone has a price for the million dollar man.

Ignoring the previous couple of times, this failed, Theodore smiles because it is better then managing Lex Luger Jr, over on Smackdown.

The Match: Demolition Ax with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Simmons. One more performed that badly and this match will end on a bad note, if you get my drift. Weak bodyslam by Ax. Ax tags out to Robert Gibson. Gibson hits a spinning back kick. All those spinning kicks look alike, don't they. Gibson snapmares Ron Simmons and goes for the DREADED chinlock. Tag to Ricky Morton. Simmons takes a chop from Morton. Simmons takes a hard, stinging chop from Morton. One word: Ow. Simmons blocks a punch. Ron Simmons hits a right hand on Ricky Morton. Tag between Ron Simmons and Rodney Mack. Powerbomb on Morton. The ref gets into position, administers the three count, and it's over. Rodney Mack pins Morton. Bunkhouse Buck hits a right hand on Rodney Mack. Bunkhouse Buck scores with a crappy looking standing spinebuster. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Big clothesline from Ax. Simmons ducks a wild right hand. Big kick from Simmons staggers Ax but that's about it. Ron Simmons hits an ugly looking bulldog off the ropes. Covers for a quick two count. Simmons tags out to Rodney Mack. Massive backbreaker on Ax and I get happy flashbacks to Bret Hart's Five Moves of DOOM. Demolition Ax fights out of a grapple. Ax tags out to Road Warrior Animal. High Angle DDT by Road Warrior Animal just SPIKES Rodney Mack down! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Road Warrior Animal with a spinning neckbreaker on Mack. Road Warrior Animal misses a clothesline. STIFF~! chop lights up Animal who covers up to try and stop the agonizing PAIN! Road Warrior Animal is in trouble. Dominator!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!

The Beverly Brothers whip Luke into the ropes and hit a double back elbow. Beau Beverly strikes Bushwhacker Luke with a hard blow. There's a two count on the pin. Luke receives some punishment by Beau Beverly but with that horrid offense, we're the only ones truly being punished. Luke counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Flapjack from Luke on Beverly. Tag to Bushwhacker Butch. Bushwhacker Butch strikes Beau Beverly with a hard blow. Bushwhacker Butch hits an ugly looking bulldog off the ropes. A second referee has come down...and is explaining to the first referee about the interference that just happened. The referee nods, then reverses the decision - he is disqualifying Blake Beverly due to the run in!

 

My Opinion: I'll give a 3/4 star rating, but only if you promise to improve as a booker.

Match Background: Beefcake is making his debut at this show. Valentine is making his debut at this show. HTM is making his debut at this show. Hammer is making his debut at this show. Dream Team used to be a regular team, but have been inactive for a while. Whether this match will lead to a reformation as an active unit remains to be seen.

 

The Match: Beefcake strikes away at Honky Tonk Man, not doing much damage at all. Weak bodyslam on HTM by Beefcake sets up a legdrop. There's a two count on the pin. Honky Tonk Man avoids a Brutus Beefcake avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Beefcake takes a vertical suplex, but pops right back up. Big clothesline from HTM. Tag between Honky Tonk Man and Van Hammer. Powerbomb on Beefcake. Van Hammer misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Tag between Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine. Kick from Valentine, showing off an amazing arsenal. I sure hope there's more to it than that. Valentine suplexes Hammer to the canvas and floats over. There's a two count on the pin. Messed up bodyslam by Valentine almost kills Hammer. Tag to Brutus Beefcake. Side suplex from Beefcake. Pin, but Hammer is out just before the three count. Hammer blocks a kick from Brutus Beefcake. BAAACK Body drop by Beefcake gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. Hammer tags out to Honky Tonk Man. Honky Tonk Man strikes Brutus Beefcake with a hard blow. Brutus Beefcake hooks up a suplex, but HTM flips out and lands on his feet, and quickly grabs the tights to score with a school boy pin! 1...2..3! The referee somehow missed the blatant cheating!

The Match: The Shockmaster strikes El Dandy. Running clothesline from The Shockmaster was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Covers for a quick two count. Shockmaste charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. The Shockmaster takes a butterfly suplex from El Dandy. Shockmaste takes a back suplex. Shockmaste tastes a high angle back suplex. If Spike Lee can sue TNN over the Spike TV nonsense, then Kurt Angle should be able to sue SOMEONE for that. El Dandy gets taken down out of nowhere! The Shockmaster DDTs El Dandy, but it just looked terrible. El Dandy can barely stand. Shock Wave!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!

 

My Opinion: I'll give a 1\2* rating because they were actually able to hit a couple of spots.

(Elimination # 2) Wallstreet slams One Man Gang down and motions to the crowd. Wallstreet threw One Man Gang all the way over the top rope to the floor. No question about that one. (Elimination # 3) Flying shoulder tackle by Crush sends Vil V CRASHING to the mat. Villano V was eliminated by Crush. (Elimination # 4) Virgil gets splashed in the corner. Virgil got bundled out by Hogan. (Elimination # 5) Flying shoulder tackle by Crush sends Hogan CRASHING to the mat. Hogan gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Crush scoops and slams VK Wallstreet. What's the difference between a scoop slam and a body slam anyway? VK Wallstreet got eliminated by Crush. (Elimination # 6) Krusher Krushev hits a right hand on Marty Jannetty and follows it up with a couple more. Weak bodyslam on Jannetty by Krusher sets up a legdrop. Weak bodyslam by Krusher. Krusher went for the elimination, but Hulk Hogan held on to the ropes at the last possible second! Krusher Krushev strikes Marty Jannetty. Marty Jannetty got bundled out by Krusher. (Elimination # 7) BIG clothesline on Hogan. Crush tried to eliminate Hulk Hogan, who hung onto the top rope for dear life! Spear by Crush. Crush tried to eliminate Hulk Hogan, who hung onto the top rope for dear life! Crush scoops and slams Hulk Hogan. What's the difference between a scoop slam and a body slam anyway? Hulk Hogan charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Krusher gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Massive lariat! Stan Hansen would approve. Crush takes a right hand to the temple from Krusher. I bet those hurt more than Sgt. Slaughter's Noogies. Krusher threw Crush all the way over the top rope to the floor. No question about that one. (Elimination # 8) Hogan strikes away at Krusher Krushev, not doing much damage at all. Krusher Krushev takes a right hand to the temple from Hogan. Krusher Krushev gets knocked to the ground by Hogan. Big Legdrop!!! Krusher Krushev got tossed over the top rope to the floor HARD by Hogan.

 

My Opinion: Bad match which brought absolutely nothing to the table and was a waste of time. DUD.

(Hogan will face Nathan Jones at the Great American Hogan for the Big Red and Yellow Belt. Hogan eliminated that dirty commie, Krusher Krushchev to win. Hulkamania will live forever)

 

Virgil enters the ring and Hogan beats up Virgil. Tatanaka war dances in but Hogan takes him out. VK Wallstreet enters the ring and attempts to choke Hogan with his tie but Hogan beats him up. Hogan beats all three men up like the jobbers then arm but NATHAN JONES ENTERS THE RING. NATHAN JONES BLASTS HOGAN WITH A SPIN KICK. Hogan drops to the mat like he is dead. The crowd goes into an utter hush. A stretcher is brought out as Hogan isn't moving at all. Hogan is being strapped on a backboard and put on a neckbrace as he is carried out arena. WILL HULKAMANIA BE ABLE TO SURVIVE THIS DEADLY BLOW AND MAKE IT TO THE GREAT AMERICAN HOGAN IN TIME? Tune in next week to find out.
