there's a certain 70's animated movie coming out next week that's getting my money, and I'm already planning on getting the Man With No Name trilogy box set anyways, so nothing for me this week

I bought Smallville season 2.

I wasn't exactly thrilled with the first season...but I like watching TV shows on DVD enough to give it a second chance.

Second Season was much better than the first, but this current Season has been great. The show is finally finding it's groove.

I wholeheartly recommend getting "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" 2 disc set, the transfer looks beautiful (almost as good as "Once Upon a Time in the West"). I also picked up "The Great Escape" 2 disc set and tomorrow I'm getting the Walt Disney Treasures- Behind the Front Lines.

Season 2 was better because they moved away from the monster of the week episodes, like Buffy season 2 was. Then they moved back to it for season 3, somewhat.

You Got Served (Special Edition)

My Thoughts:

I’ve been saying for years that we needed an updated Breakin’ to carry us through the new millennium.

The Features:

• Video and audio dance commentary by cast and crew

• Commentary by director and cast

• Serve It Up: The Making of You Got Served

• "Badaboom" Music Video by B2K featuring Fabolous

• Battle of the Beat clip compilation

• Dance Breakdown: interactive multi-angle featurette

If this DVD is in the top 5, I have lost all respect for people.

But they've found a way to make even the throwaway episodes mean something this season of Smallville. Most of the episodes I thought were going to be Monster of the Week actually moved the storyline along nicely.
