Commentary Teams of the 80's-90's

Recommended Posts

OK...looking back at the WrestleMania 2 video...it was interesting to see how many possilbe commentarry combinations there could be.

So, I decided to open this thread to see how many commentarry teams there have been from the 80s and early-mid 90s.

I'll begin...add on if I miss any. Oh, and this doesn't count the celebrity commentators from WrestleMania at times

Vince McMahon & Mean Gene Okerlund

Vince McMahon & Jesse "The Body" Ventura

Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse "The Body" Ventura

Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

Tony Shiavoni (sp?) & Jesse "The Body" Ventura

Vince McMahon & Jerry "The King" Lawler

Jim Ross, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, "Macho Man" Randy Savage

Vince McMahon, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "Macho Man" Randy Savage

Gorilla Monsoon & "Rowdy" Roddy Piper

Vince McMahon & Ted DiBiase

Gorilla Monsoon & Lord Alfred Hayes (I know they did at least one match at WrestleMania 7 together)

And continue with any I forgot.

Lord Alfred Hayes and Pat Patteron teamed up a few times with Ray Rougeau to do commentary for us Frenchies.

Hayes' accent is even more annoying in french.

Tony Schiavone and Lord Alfred did the WWF Fan Favourites tape, which features Dusty Rhodes' WWF debut, together. Also, Monsoon did the first match at WM7 with "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan

Vince McMahon/Pat Patterson -- Championship Wrestling and All-Star Wrestling

Dick Graham/Kal Rudman -- Philadelphia Spectrum

Didn't Jack Reynolds and Angelo Mosca work All-Star Wrestling together when they first started taping in Canada?
