Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted May 21, 2004 for Sean Casey. The guy's getting no press despite hitting .364 so far this season with 15 2B and 28 RBI. He's been on fire all season to this point but I guess he doesn't get a lot of attention since he's not a homerun hitter. Any other players out there not getting the attention they deserve? I am not one to expect power from everyone, and I'll take 15 HR, .300+ Avg for Casey any year, but - with that said, 4 HR, and just 10 walks in 151 AB doesn't normally equal greatness. Though, Casey has been exactly that - great. He's hitting .444 with runners in scoring position (36 atbats), and I mentioned low amount of walks - he has only struck out 14 times as well. Bored 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2004 Might not truly qualify for this since he did have a very good season last year before getting hurt and that's Melvin Mora. Many thought last year was probably a fluke but came into tonight leading the A.L. in OBP and OPS. Oh and thought of someone...Jack Wilson.
