I understand that, but the Dudleyz/Undertaker? That's just a huge jump. You'd figure they would just go after Eddie or RVD again, or something like that.

I dunno, just seemed...odd to me.

Perhaps they thought they'd get more headlines starting to go after Undertaker.

I think Booker goes over UT and then uses that as a springboard to go after Cena.

I was digging the moves & reversals Knoble was throwing on Spike in the beginning of that match, but they lost me when SPIKE STARTS OUT-WRESTLING KNOBLE. WTF? Knoble should be the Benoit of the cruiser division, but he's jobbing to Spike for the 2nd time in under a month.

The show wasn't the worst...but then again I wasn't really paying attention.

Two things I noticed though, that was one BAD ASS slap by Paul Heyman to D-von. I know that fucking hurt. And two...I really like Mordecai. I don't know why, but I just find the character cool. With the deep raspy voice and the attire also. It just works for me.

You think people really noticed?

During the Lumberjack match, I noticed some guys weren't really paying attention to the match and were kind of goofing off. I found that funny.

Hey, Akio made SD two weeks in a row...has that ever happened before?

I didn't watch tonight. But judging from the 2 pages this thread has gone, nobody else watched either.

Why did they have a Cena vs. Dupree rematch and have Cena beat him clean again? The matches weren't that great, and this does nothing to help both guys, it just makes Dupree look worse.

I'm thinking Booker T will win next week... after multiple interferences by Mordecai, ~THE DUDLEY~, and Heyman, plus numerous chairshots, plus Booker grabbing the tights, and then Booker putting his feet on the ropes. Then Taker can say he "put Booker T over" and move on to get a fat paycheck for a part-time job.

Did I mention that I hate the Undertaker?

Here's the one way you can save Smackdown right now: At GAB, Eddie vs JBL, RVD comes out in the outfit he wore tonight(the Invasion tiger tights). RVD throws salt in the eyes of the referee, does a real Van Daminator to Eddie(chair and all), and pins Eddie. He becomes the champion. See Exit Sandman for why he has to throw salt in the referee's eyes. Apparently half blind refs count for anyone. Thus we get Eddie vs RVD. At least he's near main event level. Besides, it's Smackdown, I think no one will mion dthe HUGE jump in logic there. Hey, who else can Eddie beat? The way things are going, I don't think they'll put the belt on JBL(thank God)

One little thing bothered me (apart from the overall boringocity of SD!):

Why did Akio come out alone for his match against Senor Classic? He's nursing an injury, AND going against someone who has backup in the form of his son. So where was Sakoda? It's these little bits of lost continuity and common sense that really make it hard to enjoy this show.
