'Yes,' came the reply. Less than 24 hours later, a 14-year-old boy was critically ill in hospital with stab wounds in the chest and stomach. At first it seemed as though a brutal, but straightforward, robbery had gone wrong. But yesterday the young 'victim' became the first person in this country to be convicted of inciting their own murder... [The boy] persuaded his friend, known as Mark, now 17, to stab him to death in order to pass a fictitious initiation test for the British secret services in a meticulously planned attack."

I like how the kid that did the stabbing was given 2 years of supervision(basically house arrest) as his punishment. You Brits sure do hand down a heavy sentence.

I like how the article treats it like the problem is that chatrooms aren't monitored enough. It's stupid. The kid could have called the person and told him to kill him just as easily.

Actually, it's an excellent idea if you really want to kill yourself. Hire somebody who won't have any second thoughts or qualms about killing you. They're getting paid, why should they care? Plus, it shifts the guilt in a way.

Actually, it's an excellent idea if you really want to kill yourself. Hire somebody who won't have any second thoughts or qualms about killing you. They're getting paid, why should they care? Plus, it shifts the guilt in a way.
