Smarkdown Losing Matches

Recommended Posts

"Welcome back, folks! We're glad to have you with us tonight, as..."

Suddenly, Cyclone Comet's post-break greeting is cut off, as "Born In A Burial" gown is cued up, blaring through every last speaker in the arena. The aisleway looks like more of a minefield as pyrotechnics explode up the ramp and to the stage, where Jimmy "The Demon" Liston now stands!

"Tonight will mark the second night in the last week that Liston has seen action in a four way."

"That's odd. I didn't think he told you much about his personal life, Comet."

Liston makes his way to the ring, guided by a red spotlight, then slides into the ring, raising an arm up in taunting fashion while Funyon introduces him.

FUNYON

Ladies and gentlemen, this next match, is a NO DISQUALIFICATION, FOUR CORNERS MATCH! The winner of this contest will then be recognized as the number one contender for the SWF Cruiserweight Title! In the ring at this time, hailing from Boston, MA, weighing in at two hundred, twenty eight pounds...JIMMY "THE DEMON" LISSSSSTONNNNN!

More jeers greet Liston as he props himself on the second rope, shouting out to the crowd and proclaming himself to be "the next Cruiserweight Champion".

"That's excellent motivation Jimmy, but you'll have to make it through three other men who want the same thing...including this one!"

Comet's excitement comes from the sounds of "Not Today", as Hollywood Spike Jenkins steps through the curtain, his head ducked and buried under his hood. Spike stands on the ramp. as pyro erupts on both sides of him, and he starts moving around, warming himself up before heading down to the ring.

FUNYON

Next, he hails from Hollywood, CA, and weighs in at two hundred, twenty five pounds, he is HOLLEEEWOOOOOD SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE JENNNNKINNNNNSSS!

Spike jumps up onto the apron, hopping through the ropes and spinning around, waving his arms and egging the fans on, encouraging them to cheer their heads off. Liston does not look impressed, and Spike keeps his eyes focused on "The Demon" while he disposes of his ring jacket. Spike's music is soon replaced by the sound of Spanish horns, and the crowd responds with a favorable reaction on par with Spike's, as the sound of "Tres Delinquentes" leads us to the introduction of Todd Cortez!

The Urban Legend walks out onto the ramp, showing a little more personality as he works the crowd, proudly proclaming his straight edge lifestyle by crossing his arms in an "X". Cortez powerwalks to the ring, as Funyon handles his intro.

FUNYON

Coming down the aisle, he is one half of the two time, and reigning SWF World Tag Team Champions...from The Streets, weighing in at two hundred, twenty six pounds, the Urban Legend, TODDDDD CORRRRTEZZZZ!

"Man, these fans are cheering Cortez, and that can't be good. We've got enough baby-kissers in this company." moans Riley, seemingly disgusted.

"That tends to happen when you prove yourself against a guy like John Duran. That was a big win for Cortez, and he could capitalize on that momentum tonight." states Comet.

Cortez stops at ringside, kissing his cross and paying homage to his deceased brother before sliding into the ring, coming up in front of Jenkins. Cortez stays silent, letting his eyes wander from Spike to Liston, and keeping his guard up, while they await the final entrant in this match.

The arena goes black, and moments later the sound of screams echoes through the air, while the crowd buzzes. "Imperium" begins to play, drawing a pop from those in attendance...

"HEEEEEEEEEEEAR MEEEE NOWWWWWWWWWWW"

The crowd roars as a lightshow takes place in the arena, with rapid, strobing lights illuminating the arena in red. Just as soon as it starts, it ends, with a lone spotlight shining down on the ramp, highlighting the fourth contestant in this contest, standing with arms extended and head tilted back, as Funyon graces us with the final intro of the contest.

FUNYON

The fourth, and final entrant! Hailing from Anchorage, Alasaka, and weighing in at two hundred, thirty pounds, he is the Antichrist Superstar...CRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

The fans rejoice as Crow turns around, looking over to both sides of the crowd, and then striking his Zippo lighter, giving life to the cigarrette between his lips. Crow then moves forward, tossing the Zippo behind him, and feeling the heat of the rising flames that come up behind him, covering the stage!

"Yeah, good job Crow. Smoke it up before you go into a match where endurance is key. Schmuck."

"Riley, you realize he's going to watch this match on tape and hear that, right?"

"Well...then I'll head for a tropical resort after the show. If you need me, I'll be under the name Sol Moskowitcz."

Crow climbs the stairs to the ring, hesitating before entering, as the three others watch him. Crow pulls the drag from his lips, extinguishing it on the corner post, and then steps through the ropes, standing tall in the corner while his three rivals anticipate the ringing of the bell, all of them positioned in a corner. Mere moments later, the ‘DING!’ of the ring bell sounds through the arena, kicking off this contest.

Each man comes out of their corner slowly, with Liston approaching Crow, while Cortez pairs off with Spike. The four men circle the ring, and Liston, who’s still eyeing the Antichrist Superstar, turns to his side and pounces on Cortez! Spike quickly runs at Crow, firing off punches and backing him into the corner, only to have Crow grab him by the neck and toss him into the corner, then rattle him with punches. Liston shoves Cortez through the ropes and out to the floor, while Crow pulls Spike out of the corner and sends him to the ropes, elevating him through the air with a back bodyrop. Liston and Cortez brawl at ringside, and when Jimmy attempt to whip Cortez into the guardrail, the Urban Legend reverses and sends The Demon crashing into the steel! Liston is dazed, and Cortez hops back up on the apron, entering the ring just as Crow is prying Spike off the mat. Instinctively, Spike pushes Crow off of him, and Cortez nails Crow with a dropkick from behind! Crow staggers forward, and Spike pops up, grabbing him by the waist and nailing an inverted atomic drop to stagger him! Spike backs up, then cracks Crow on the chin with a superkick! Crow stays on his feet, and when he turns away from Spike, he walks into another superkick, this one from Cortez! Crow goes down, and Spike quickly jumps on him, looking for the pin!

ONE!

TWO!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!

Crow pushes Spike off him, and Cortez pulls Jenkins up, whipping him into the corner and then following up with a monkey flip, but the agile Spike lands on his feet…only to be hooked by Crow and taken over with a back suplex! Cortez then runs at Crow, somersaulting under a lariat attempt, and coming up with a dropkick that knocks Crow off his feet! Cortez backs Crow into the ropes, but Crow reverses the whip in mid-stream, sending Cortez into the ropes…and Jimmy Liston pops up from ringside with a chairshot to the back of Todd Cortez! Todd stumbles forward, walking into a DDT from Crow! A cover is made, and referee Jefferson Harding counts his shoulders down…

ONE!

TWO!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!

Cortez gets a shoulder up! Crow pulls him up, but as he does, Liston comes back into the ring and brings the chair down across Crow’s back, sending quivers up his spine! Agitated, Crow lifts his head and turns to Liston with a vengeful glare, but as he motions for him, Liston brings the chair down over his head!

“Jimmy Liston has wasted no time in taking this match to the extreme!”

“Why not, Comet? There’s no-DQ, and it’s a must win situation for all these guys!”

Liston turns to Spike Jenkins next, measuring him up as Spike recovers from the suplex Crow hit him with. Jenkins gets up, and as Liston brings the chair up, it’s swiped away by Cortez! Liston turns around, and Cortez PASTES him across the forehead, instantly opening up a cut! Liston falls off balance, staggering around to face Spike, who comes running at him, hooks him in a front ¾ facelock, and drills him facefirst to the canvas with The Bad Beat! Spike quickly hooks the leg, while Cortez throws the chair aside, keeping an eye on the pinfall as Harding counts.

ONE!

THREE!!

************************************************

ELIMINATED: Jimmy “The Demon” Liston

************************************************

“Liston is gone already! Can you believe that!?”

“Jimmy went to extremes early on, and ultimately it led to his downfall. We’re mere moments into this match, and we’ve already seen one competitor taken out!”

Spike is barely able to get up, as Cortez brings his forearms down across Spike’s back, pouncing on him just after the three count on Liston was made. Cortez sends Spike into the ropes, but Jenkins holds onto the top rope, preventing himself from running into a dropkick by Todd! Cortez gets up from his crash landing, brushing himself off, but has Crow grab him from behind in a waistlock! Cortez struggles to break the grip, and finally does, using a go behind into his own rear waistlock, then shoving Crow forward, into an oncoming Spike! Their heads collide, and Spike tumbles through the middle ropes to the apron, catching himself just before he fell on the floor! Crow turns around, just as Cortez swings his leg at his chin with a spin kick…and has it caught! Crow throws the leg down, and floors Cortez with a lariat, knocking him off his feet! Crow then stands with his back to his fallen opponent, and backflips over, coming down across Todd’s ribs with a standing moonsault! He stays laid over him, giving Harding the look to come and count the fall…

ONE!

TWO!!

THR…NO!

Kickout by Cortez! Crow picks him up, then puts him right back down with a scoop slam. He runs the ropes, but just as he’s about to hit, he goes tumbling over the top rope, as Spike pulls it down while he’s getting up! Crow hits the floor, and Spike looks back to make sure he’s incapable of coming at him right now. Seeing Cortez down, Jenkins leaps from the apron onto the top rope, springboarding in with a legdrop…that misses! Cortez rolled out of the way just in time, and gets up, deliving a basement dropkick to the face of the stunned Spike! Cortez yanks him up off the mat, and puts him in a facelock, then takes him over with a snap suplex. Cortez continues working him over in the ring, while the cameras cut to the floor, where Crow is rooting around under the apron, drawing a pop from the fans as he yanks out a table! Crow looks to have finished, until something else catches his eye. He throws the apron up again, and reaches under the ring, coming up with a Singapore Cane!

“Ooooh my. This is going to get ugly.”

Crow holds up his weapon of choice, as the fans pop even louder than they did for the table! Crow slides into the ring, standing in one corner while over in the other, Spike Jenkins stands on the middle rope, hitting Cortez with punches to the temple. Spike brings him out of the corner, setting Cortez up in a standing leg scissors, but before he can execute anything, he feels the sting of the cane being brought across his back, as Crow whacks him from behind! Spike cringes in pain, turning away from Cortez and letting him fall to all fours. He turns to Crow, who again weilds the cane, swinging it down across Spike's forehead and knocking him silly! Crow covers Spike, keeping a grip on the cane as he does so...

ONE!

TWO!!

THR...LEGDROP TO THE BACK OF CROW'S HEAD BY CORTEZ!

"What the...why did he break it up?"

"That's actually a good thing! He caught Crow off guard, when he was unable to use that cane! Nice thinking by Cortez!"

Todd picks Crow up, leveling him with an inverted atomic drop, then coming off the ropes with a spinning wheel kick that knocks the Antichrist Superstar off of his feet! The cane falls out of his hand and rolls under the rope to the floor, and Cortez stays on offense, dragging Crow back up to his feet. Cortez hooks him for a Northern Lights suplex, but Crow drives his knee into Todd's gut, then sets him between his legs, lifting him up onto his shoulders for a powerbomb...NO! Cortez slides out, landing on his feet in front of Crow. He reaches out, grabbing Crow by the throat, looking for URBAN ASSAULT...but Crow elbows him in side of the face to break! Cortez turns away, rubbing his sore cheek, and is then spun around to face Crow again, getting cracked with a knife edge chop across the chest! Crow follows up with several more, the sound of each one drawing "WHOO!'s" from the capacity crowd. Cortez finds himself backed into the corner, falling victim to several more chops before Crow tugs on his arm, yanking him out of there and sending him into the opposite corner. Cortez collides hard with the tunbuckles, and can only look on, dazed, as Crow comes charging towards him...AND GETS SPEARED BY SPIKE JENKINS!

"Spike's come alive!"

Jenkins sits atop Crow, pummelling him with punches as the crowd roars! He gets up off of Crow, giving him the space to recover, but as he gets to his feet, Spike is right back on him, backing him into the ropes. He sends him in, and catches Crow with a huracanrana as he rebounds, sending him skidding across the canvas! Crow gets up, but Spike is ON FIRE~!, charging his fellow crowd favorite and dumping him over the top rope with a clothesline! Spike works the crowd, encouraging their rabid cheers, and doesn't see Cortez come out of the corner, cracking him in the jaw with a superkick! Cortez quickly hops up to the top rope, facing the crowd, and notices Crow getting to his feet. Rather than followup on Spike, Cortez instead leaps to the outside, sending the fans into a frenzy as he takes Crow out with a bodypress from the top rope!

"Wipeout!" proclaims Bobby Riley.

The ever-so-vocal fans begin to chant "CORTEZ! CORTEZ!" as Todd gets to his feet, using the apron as an assist in doing so. Todd moves in for the kill, heading for Crow, but is knocked into the guardrail, courtesy of a recovered Spike, who hits a baseball slide! Spike stays in the ring, getting to his feet and standing near the ropes, waiting on Cortez to shake off the effects of the slide. As soon as he does, Spike propels himself over the top rope, crashing down onto the Urban Legend with a pescado! Spike pops up, raising his arms and standing tall, basking in the reaction he gets from the fans. Not wanting to give his opponents much room for recovery, Spike yanks Cortez up off the floor, ramming him facefirst into the apron before shoving him back into the ring. Spike then turns to Crow, and also shoves him in under the bottom rope, taking the match back between the ropes rather than on the outside. Spike jumps up onto the apron, and then climbs the turnbuckles, crouching on the top rope as he watches his rivals. Seeing Crow wander into range, Spike stands up, preparing to dive onto him...but Crow charges the corner, knocking Spike off balance! Hollywood gets crotched on the top rope, and Crow climbs up the ropes, hooking Spike in a facelock before taking the final step up onto the third rope. Crow readies him for a superplex, but Cortez comes up under Crow, hooking his legs...AND POWERBOMBS CROW AT THE SAME TIME SPIKE JENKINS IS SUPERPLEXED FROM THE TOP ROPE!

"HOLY SH*T! HOLY SH*T!"

The crowd is rabid with applause, as all three men are down in the ring!

"Whattamanuever that was, Bobbo!"

"Cortez just got the two for one special, but it took a lot out of him as well!"

Cortez slowly crawls over to Crow, draping himself across Crow's upper body and hooking his leg.

ONE!

TWO!!

THR...KICKOUT!

Crow gets a shoulder up, much to the delight of many in the crowd! Seeing Spike still laid out just a few feet away, Cortez crawls away from Crow, and this time covers Spike. Harding again makes the count...

ONE!

TWO!!

THR..NOOOOOO!

...but Spike kicks out as well!

Needing to keep the tide shifted in his favor, Cortez stands up and surveys the damage, looking on as both Spike and Crow lick their wounds and try to pull themselves up. Cortez ducks outside of the ring, taking the table that Crow had pulled out earlier and setting it up on the floor. Once that task is complete, Cortez returns to the ring, picking up the chair that he discarded earlier in the contest, and winding up, smashing it into Crow's temple as he's standing up! Crow immediately goes back down, and blood begins to trickle from his hairline down his forehead! With Crow laid out, Cortez grabs Spike and brings him over to the corner nearest to where the table is set up, and rams Spike's head into the top turnbuckle. Cortez then turns Spike around, and starts ramming his shoulder repeatedly into Spike's midsection, looking to knock what little wind Spike has left out of him! Cortez then sets him up on the top rope, and begins to follow, and everyone starts buzzing because they can see what Cortez has in mind.

"Robert, you don't think he's going to, you know..."

"No, not at all, Comet. He just set the table up for a post-match coffee. Of COURSE he's looking to put him through it, you knob!"

Cortez climbs up the ropes, but Spike valiantly fights him off, knowing that another high impact move could seal his fate in this contest. Cortez holds him in a facelock and tries desperately to stand Spike up on the top rope, pulling his grip away from the ropes. Cortez finally manages to bring Spike to his feet on the top rope. They stand teetering on the top, but just as Spike is pulled up, he shoves Cortez off balance, causing the Urban Legend to fall down onto the top strand of rope, crotching himself! Cortez's double take is both humorous and painful to watch, as his wild eyed glare describes the pain he must be feeling right now. Spike takes a moment to shake the cobwebs loose before jumping down onto the ring apron, prying Cortez off the ropes so that both are now standing on the table. Spike quickly hooks both of Cortez's arms, locking his hands behind Todd's back as he holds him in a standing headscissors on the table.

"No...is he...I mean..." stutters Comet.

"Spit it out, man! You and I both know what he's going for. Better get the neck brace ready for Todd Cortez!"

Spike positions Todd for THE RECKONING, but somehow, Cortez manages to backdrop his way out of it, sending Spike over his back and falling down onto the floor! Cortez has no time to recover though because as he turns to catch himself on the ropes, his face is raked with the claw of a recovered and now bloody Crow! Cortez shouts in agony as the swipe has temporarily blinded him, and Crow simply pulls him over the ropes by his neck, hurling him across the ring. Cortez stands up, his vision still blurred, and all of a sudden...

CRACK~!

...his leg quivers in pain, as Crow nails him with a roundhouse kick to the thigh area. Cortez winces in pain, only to feel another...

CRACK~!

...roundhouse kick, this time to the ribs! Cortez doubles over, and Crow readies himself, spinning 90 degrees on one leg while bringing the other across the side of Todd's head, nailing him with a third roundhouse kick that makes Cortez do a 180 turn and fall into the ropes! Cortez would have landed on his face had the ropes not been there, and he's immediately pulled away by Crow, who quickly pulls Cortez up by his waist, dropping him over his shoulders with a German Suplex! Crow bridges out, holding Cortez's shoulders down for the pin!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE...NO!

"Unbelievable! Todd Cortez just survived an onslaught from Crow!"

"The question remains...for how long?"

Crow pulls Cortez up, peppering the small cuts over his eye with his right fist, drawing more blood in an effort to decrease his visibility. Crow looks over his shoulder, seeing Spike Jenkins looking to make a move from the top rope, so he quickly whips Cortez into the corner, smashing Todd's back into the buckles and crotching Spike at the same time! Cortez collapses out of the corner, while Spike groans in pain...and Crow darts across the ring, using Cortez as a springboard to leap up onto Spike's shoulders and snap him off the ropes with a huracanrana!

"Just like his namesake, Crow takes to flight!" exclaims Comet.

"CROW! CROW! CROW!"

The strong chant emits from the crowd, and the women especially, as Crow gets to his feet, shoving Cortez back into the corner and unloading on him with knife edge chops! Feeling that Todd's wifebeater might be serving as too much protection to the blows, Crow tears it off, and then continues with the onslaught, cracking the side of his hand across the chest skin of Cortez! Crow then pulls Cortez out of the corner, climbing up the ropes while holding onto Cortez. When Crow gets to the top rope, he reaches down and locks Todd's head under his arm in a facelock, then kicks off the ropes, swinging around in the air, driving Cortez headfirst into the canvas with a Murderous...NO! Cortez shoves Crow off of him before impact...and Spike nails a standing enzugiri to the back of Crow's head! The Antichrist Superstar stumbles forward...RIGHT INTO AN URBAN ASSAULT! Cortez falls backwards to the mat, unable to followup with a pin, as the fans gasp...then pop loudly when Spike Jenkins hooks Crow's leg and makes a cover!

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

"HE JUST KICKED OUT OF URBAN ASSAULT!"

Spike is in shock, and so are the fans, although judging by their response, it's pleasant shock. Spike quickly pulls Crow up to his feet, looking for The Reckoning, but Crow simply collapses as he's being pulled up.

"Looks like the bird is dead weight!" says Riley.

Spike again reaches down to pick Crow up, but all he gets is a low blow for his trouble, as Crow reacts out of desperation! Spike falls to his knees, while Crow remains on all fours, the wear and tear of this match now starting to sink in. Slowly, Crow stands up, taking a deep breath before grabbing Spike by the head and hooking a facelock, however Spike quickly counters by grabbing ahold of Crow's arm and twisting it, freeing him from his grip while enabling him to gain his own! Spike then sends Crow to the ropes, but Crow stops midstream and turns around, keeping his grip on Spike's arm and pulling him into a knee to the ribs, then quickly grabbing a facelock again. Before Spike knew what hit him, Crow holds him upside down vertically for just a second or two before jumping, kicking his legs out and bringing Spike down headfirst into the canvas, making him a candidate for spinal fusion after hitting NATURAL BORN CHAOS!

"Goodnight Spike Jenkins!"

Crow covers, not even bothering to hook the leg, and just smirks as Harding makes the count.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

**********************************************

ELIMINATED: Hollywood Spike Jenkins

**********************************************

"We're down to the final two! Will it be the Urban Legend or the Gothic Warrior?"

Crowe gets up from the pin, and Harding rolls Spike to the edge of the ring, waving on two staff members to help him to the back, since there is no way he's going to be doing it on his own. Crowe gets up and turns to Cortez, but the first thing he sees is the sight of steel being swung at his head, and sidesteps in the nick of time, as Cortez was looking to bring the steel chair down on his head! Crowe swipes up the singapore cane from earlier and swings it at Cortez, but Todd uses the steel chair as a sheild, deflecting the cane shots with it!

Growing tired of the back and forth vibe, Cortez pulls the chair back and then rams it into the ribs of Crow, knocking the air out of him and causing him to drop the cane. Cortez then drops the chair, taking Crow by his jet black hair and dragging him to the ropes, tossing him through the middle and out onto the table that remains set up on the floor! Crow rolls onto his back, in perfect position for Cortez, who climbs up the turnbuckles, not taking an eye off him as the crowd murmurs in anticipation. Cortez gets to the top, but Crow wakes from the dead, sitting up and standing on the table, shaking the ropes so that Cortez falls off balance!

"Damn! We've seen more crotch shots tonight than an amateur porn flick!"

Crow now climbs the ropes from the outside, grabbing Cortez and trying to take him over with something, ANYTHING, knowing that a move from the top through the table will seal his fate. Crow stands up on the top rope, as does Cortez, and as the two struggle, Cortez grabs Crow by the throat, and puts another hand behind his back for support...

...AND COMES OFF THE TOP WITH AN URBAN ASSAULT DOWN THROUGH THE TABLE TO THE FLOOR!

"LORD IN HEAVEN, ROBERT!"

It's unanimous, as every mouth in the crowd, man, woman and child, screams "HOLY SH*T" at the top of their lungs. Both competitors are down on the floor, splinters and shrapnel surrounding their fallen bodies. Jefferson Harding can only stand and wait, much like everyone else is doing, since there's no count out in this situation!

"We knew that these four guys would go to any length to win this, but Todd Cortez just damn near killed himself simply to take Crow out!"

"Now we know what Van Siclen saw in this kid! He's willing to sacrifice himself for victory, and that quality is what puts the gold around your waist in this business."

Riley and Comet continue to banter, keeping the home viewers entertained as the two combatants lay on the ringside floor, shaken from the fall. After what felt like an eternity, Todd Cortez starts to flinch, pulling himself out of the wreckage. The Antichrist Superstar remains as broken as the table he was put through, and Cortez yanks him up by the hair and rolls him into the ring, sliding in just after him. Cortez rolls Crow onto his back, and lays across his chest, too tired to care about hooking the leg, as Harding quickly hits the canvas...

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

"That three count was simply a formality! Todd Cortez did it!"

"Of course he did it, you nincompoop, he just sent the guy through a table to concrete!"

FUNYON

Here is your winner, and the number one contender to the SWF Cruiserweight Title...TODDDDDDDDDDDDD CORRRRRRRRRRRTEZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Todd is helped to his feet by Harding, who raises his hand in victory. Many fans give Todd the applause he deserves for his hard fought effort, but he quickly rolls out of the ring, not taking any time to celebrate with them. Instead, Cortez retrieves his SWF Tag belt from Funyon, and turns the corner, slowly walking around ringside and up the ramp, as the energized fans lean over the railing, patting him on the arm or back to show their approval in Cortez's big win.

"He may not be in the mood now, but Todd Cortez should celebrate until the night is through! Drinks are on me!"

"Robert, Todd doesn't drink."

"After that match, he damn well should."

"Fans, we'd like you to know that the SWF only condones alcohol use when it's done by people of age. So you kids at home, don't go opening the liquor cabinet..."

"Or if you do, just blame it on your friends."

"For the love of...fans, we'll be back, after this. Riley, one of these days you're going to get us in..."

As we come back from commercial break at the Gund Arena, in Cleveland, Ohio, the crowd is already chanting. They know, just like everyone else, what's about to go down.

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT...

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT...

“Ladies and gentlemen, The following contest is a six man tag-"

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT...

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT...

“And is tonights' MAIN EVENT!”

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

“Introducing first, weighing in tonight, at a combined weight of seven hundred and forty-one pounds...”

Up on the Smarkstron, a familiar excerpt from the Art of War appears:

]Of old the skilled first made themselves invincible

to await the enemy’s vincibility.

Invincibility lies in oneself.

Vincibility lies in the enemy.

Thus the skilled can make themselves invincible.

They cannot cause the enemy’s vincibility.

Thus it is said, “Victory can be known. It cannot be

made.”

-the Sun-Tzu, Chapter Four.”

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT...

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT...

The distortion hits, and the arena lights up – every available spotlight is trained on the entrance ramp. White blasts of pyrotechnics streak up, down, across the arena, back and forth along the ramp, sending sparks spiraling everywhere. The Smarkstron flickers one final time, and the image changes – the burning ankh, gigantic, red, consumed by flames, towers over the audience, three stories tall... and the first line of the song echoes out over the crowd.

Today, the warning came in the floooooooood...

"Cover your eyes, Comet!" shouts Riley, in a squeaky voice.

A final burst of white pyro shoots up from the center of the entrance ramp, temporarily blinding the audience to the curtains behind. The effect is not as powerful in the wide-open arena, but it still blinds the audience long enough for Nathaniel Kibagami -- flanked by Dace Night and Ryan Dustin -- to come striding through the sparks, and stand atop the stage.

"The team of, the Real Deal, Horrorcore, and the Silent One... RYAN DUSTIN, DACE--"

Fuckin'!!

"--NIGHT, and NATHANIEL KIBAGAMI!!"

The river dragon has come – souls wash away...

The earth has spoken, and taken them to their graaaaaaves...

The trio makes their way to ringside as the song continues, Dustin trailing behind Kibagami, while Night quickens his pace, and slides into the ring with practiced ease. Nathan takes his time, using the ring steps to enter, while Ryan climbs the turnbuckle to the right of them. Kibagami goes up the turnbuckles for his crucifix pose, while a now posing Dace, and Dustin mug for the wave of flashing light-bulbs. The Real Deal does his tradition flip inside the ring, garnering a nice reaction, as Kibagami's music fades...

"CYCLOOOOOONE Comet, here, with Robert Riley, folks--and tonight something is definitely in the air. The crowd can feel it and so can I. Robert, this match could be one heck of a contest!"

"It could be, Comet. It will be--not only because Tom Flesher's involved, but because Tom Flesher's going to win tonight! Tom Flesher doesn't EVER lose! He's superman!"

"Then why is his best of five series tied at two? I'd say, Dace Night, could just be Tom's kryptonite."

"Yeah, he's the red kind that pisses Tom off and makes him kick even more ass than the norm."

Comet stares at Riley aghast. "Fiend, never use comic book trivia against me to make a point! I'll admit, I don't know what their final match at the Pay-per-view will be, but Dace Night, can win it. He can win it, just like he's won two out of the four other matches they've had!"

“And their opponents…” says Funyon, as the Lostprophets’ familiar beat flows throughout the arena. And the fans, now sure just who's on their way to ringside, begin...

'Prepare To Be Proved Wrong!'

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT...

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT...

The chant is overwhelming, and you can barely hear the heavy guitars of “We Still Kill The Old Way” kick in, as the signature slogan of the former ICTV champion flashes up on the Smarktron, in jagged white letters on a black background. The picture then fades to footage of Toxxic taking Mike Van Siclen off a balcony and through a table with the Toxxic Shock Syndrome, the landing timed to coincide with the...

‘GO!’

BOOOM!!

...explosion of red pyro announcing that signals the arrival of the SWF's premier straight-edger!

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT...

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-LENT…

"What the hell are these fans thinking--Kibagami and Toxxic are a powder keg, with a VERY short fuse in my opinion, and these cretins are provocing it! I just don't get it..." mumbles Bobby, not sure what to think, as Toxxic makes his way to the stage -- Jet in tow -- and the chants of his opponent name for 13th Hour, only grown louder. Oddly, he looks calm, on the exterior, while it's clear he's very upset at the level of volume the Silent chants have reached.

"First, making his way to ringside--from Nottingham, England; weighing two hundred and eighteen pounds; accompanied to the ring by Jet, he is the Straight-Edge Sensation... TOXX-IIIC!!”

"Bobby, I don't know either, but they pay to do whatever the want. I just can't help thinking that citizen Toxxic used that Dangerlust on citizen Rickmen, off the ladder and through a table, without much of a second thought... I don't know." Comet looks at the straight-edger and takes a breath. "I just don't know..."

His music fades and Toxxic marches half-way down the ramp, until suddenly…

BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM

Muse’s “Hyper Music” suddenly and alarmingly kicks up, and with each strike, a blinding flash strikes the arena! The song really kicks into gear, and Lezaire comes striding out, and confidence written on his face, proven with a sly grin.

"Second--from Vancouver... British Columbia, Canada, weighing in tonight at two hundred and twenty-nine pounds... ACE LEEEEEEE--ZAIRRRRREEEE!"

Charging down to the ring, as Toxxic is already climbing into the ring, like nothing else matters accept getting to Kibagami, Ace exchanges pleasantries with the fans nearby before sliding underneath the bottom rope ready to face his opponents. Dustin gives him a look that says we've been here before hand, then quickly turns to size up Toxxic in a 'picture frame'! Lezaire scowls slightly, as Toxxic dismisses him quickly by looking at the spot targeted and brushing his hand over it.

"Toxxic isn't fooling around with Dustin tonight, Comet. He's here for business--the business of dropping Nathaniel Kibagami on his big, fat, head!"

"I think," say Comet, with a deliberate pause. Clearly he has something he wants to say, but is trying to hold back. "I'll let that one go. But Robert, you have to wonder, will Ace Lezaire be ready for a main event match the calibre of this one? This is a big match to throw a rookie into..."

"What about Ryan Dustin? He didn't beat John Duran straight up like Ace did. Ace also won their singles match debut, didn't he. The Real Deal didn't get the job done. Will he be ready, Comet?"

"That's a good point, Robert." says Comet, surprisingly sage-like. "It's been years since Dustin's been in a high profile match like this and the question isn't could he keep up, but will he keep up. Ring rust is always a factor, but Main Events are like riding a bicycle--"

"--You end up falling on your head a lot?"

Immediately, the fans boo as the lights go out. An explosion of blue pyro and smoke lights up the arena, and Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir” begins to blare over the speakers! The smoke clears, and Tom Flesher walks out in his blue warm-up suit. Next to him is Allison Onita, dressed for spring in a blue button-down shirt and a matching knee-length skirt. She escorts him through the smoke and they walk forward together, fireworks going off in the background. As Allison escorts Flesher, the fans boo them both loudly. Flesher simply shoos them off with a flick of the wrist, and they enter the ring together. The pair strikes a pose, Flesher holding his chin and smirking, Onita curling up against him so close that it’s hard to tell where one stops and the other begins. Dace Night, meanwhile, looks on with disgust, but continues to talk strategy with Kibagami and Dustin. The music fades, and Funyon begins his announcement.

“And finally, accompanied by Allison Onita… from Buffalo, New York, and weighing in at two hundred and thirty-one pounds, he is the Superior One... TOM FLESSSSH--ER!!!”

Flesher starts a golf clap for himself, not even really acknowledging his two partners yet, but the crowd doesn't really care and the boos come forth again. Looking annoyed, Flesher turns to Allison. She helps him out of his warm-up suit and slides out of the ring. Then, Tom stretches out, and as if his two partners finally matter, Flesher turns and talks to them. Dustin exits, and Kibagami adds some last words to their group conversation, before stepping through the ropes, as Dace, Flesher and Toxxic are left in the ring. Flesher bows out, to a 'pussy' chant and Toxxic gets ready to go toe-to-toe with the man who made Horrorcore. Waving his arms, Referee Hardcastle calls for the opening bell.

Ding, Ding, Ding!

Slowly inching forwards, the Straight Edger moves into the middle of the ring as Dace just stands their, waving on his fellow English man. Extending his hand, Dace reaches out for a lock up as Toxxic slowly moves in to except. Trying to tip the scales from the get go, Toxxic sends his left leg lashing out towards Dace Night’s mid section, but Dace drops his other arm and smoothly catches Toxxic’s leg. Tripping the Straight Edger down to the mat, Dace follows him down, dropping a knee into Toxxic’s ribs as the crowd lets out a small cheer.

“Looks like all those matches with Tom Flesher have paid off for Citizen Dace and he’s not doing to get caught with anything like that,” Comet notes.

“Unless it’s Flesher himself doing it, because he’s so much better still,” Riley sneers back.

Scrambling back up to his feet, Toxxic backs away from Dace and shoots himself into the ropes, getting up a full head of steam as he races towards Dace. Faking a leap into the air, Toxxic watches as Dace spreads his arms for a catch, only to duck and slip behind Horrorcore, into a Rear Waistlock. Up in a split second, Dace easily powers out and into a Rear Waistlock of his own. Rather than trying to German the high flying punk, Night quick spins him around and drives a knee into Toxxic’s mid section, doubling him over. Locking on a quick Front Facelock, Dace drops back to the mat and spikes Toxxic down with a DDT, as the crowd lets out another small pop. Rolling to his feet, Dace drags the struggling Toxxic up by his arm and takes a full swing. Driving his forearm into Toxxic’s chest and driving him back down into the mat with a Lariat as the crowd starts to cheer even louder.

“Toxxic isn’t having the luck he had against Dace in their singles match. This could be a bad sign for Team Flesher.” Muses Comet.

“Yer, but they have youth on their side Comet. Dace, Kibagami and Dustin are all old guys pretty much. I’m surprised Dustin doesn’t have a zimmer frame and whiskey bottle combo with him.” Retorts Riley.

Pointing across the ring to the River Dragon, Dace listens to the crowd explode as he points back down to the prone figure of Toxxic on the mat. Striding over to his corner, Dace reaches out and tags in the former world champion as Toxxic tries to dash across to his tag partners.

SIIII-LENT!

SIIII-LENT!

A chorus of boos wells up as Toxxic tags out to Tom Flesher and flips off Kibagami as he exits the ring. Grunting in annoyance, The River Dragon stalks over to the middle of the ring to meet The Superior One Head on. Also extending his hands for a lock up, Flesher offers them out almost easily as Kibagami locks up with him in the middle of the ring. Not trusting Flesher for even a moment, Kibagami instantly drives a knee strike into his mid section before twisting around behind their Superior One into a Hammerlock. The crowd continues to cheer on Kibagami as he wrenches on Tom’s arm.

“And Toxxic wants no part of Kibagami in this match it seems. So he’s letting Tom Flesher do his dirty work!” Yells Comet.

“Toxxic’s never done any dirty work in this life Comet and you know that. And what dare you say that Flesher does any either.” Riley snaps back.

Grunting for a moment. Flesher leans his weight forwards slightly and spins on his heels, easily out manoeuvring Kibagami and reversing the Hammerlock into one of his own. But before the boos can break into full force, the Silent One reaches back and wraps his arm around Flesher’s head. Dropping to his knees, Kibagami takes him over to the mat with a quick Snapmare. Popping back to his feet, Kibagami leans back and drills his boot into Flesher’s back with a kick that echoes around the arena.

CRACK! CRACK!

Hauling the Superior One to his feet, Kibagami launches him against the ropes at full speed, pausing for just a moment before racing after him. Raising his leg in the are, Kibagami looks to deliver a face smashing Yakuza Kick, but Tom Flesher has other ideas. Ducking the kick, Flesher spins around and drives himself into the back of Kibagami’s leg, taking him down to the mat with a Single Leg Pick. Climbing over the Silent One’s back into a Rear Waistmount, Flesher brings down a wave of jeers as he just slaps Kibagami around the back of his head. Twisting his body around, Flesher swings over Kibagami and drops to the mat infront of him, clamping on a perfect Front Facelock.

“See that Comet, that’s real World Championship material. Flesher working all this real wrestling stuff, good job Dace Night isn’t in the ring right now to mess it up again,” Riley says.

“I highly doubt even Tom Flesher is going to beat Citizen Kibagami with basic mat wrestling, whatever the match,” Comet says.

Back peddling away form the ropes, Flesher drags Kibagami away from the ropes before slamming a Palm Strike into the back of his head, bringing up a fresh wave of boos from the crowd. Kicking his feet back, the Superior One hops his hips as he takes Kibagami’s whole weight over neck first with a Cement Mixer. In the corner, Toxxic and Ace clap on as Flesher takes control of the match. Leaving the Silent One clutching at his neck for a moment, Flesher slips behind him and drags Kibagami up into a Rear Waistlock, popping his hips again, Flesher snaps backwards and sends Kibagami crashing into the mat with a German Suplex.

“German Suplex following the Cement Mixer! Citizen Flesher is trying to isolate Kibagami early on in this tag match and go after his neck.” Comet shouts.

“Well, what else is he going to do, go after his fingers?”

SIII-LENT!

SIII-LENT!

Gold clapping himself for a brief moment, Flesher grabs Kibagami by the legs and drags him backwards across the ring, over into the corner with Ace and Toxxic. Holding Kibagami down on the mat, Flesher watches as Lezaire leaps over the top rope and drops his leg across the back of Kibagami’s neck. Taking a bow to cameras and the booing crowds, Ace slowly sets back out onto the apron as Hardcastle orders him out of the ring. As soon as Lezaire gets back out onto the apron, Flesher extends his hand and makes the Canadian Hope as Toxxic just stands on the apron and watches. The pair hauls Kibagami up to his feet and shoves him into the turnbuckles. Grabbing the tag rope, Flesher loops it around the neck of the Silent One and starts to choke him as a huge round of boos explode from the crowd.

“Look at that, Flesher is choking Kibagami in the corner with the tag ropes. Even three on one in that corner and he still feels the need to cheat!” Yells Comet.

“What are you talking about, he’s being a ring general and using that lovely five count to full effect,” says Riley.

Toxxic just stands firm as Hardcastle dishes out the five count, holding up his hands and seeming to apologise for his team mates actions as he spits insults at Kibagami. Finally stepping out onto the apron at four and a half, Flesher looks across the ring and motions to Dace Night that he’ll be next. Dragging the dazed and coughing Kibagami out of the corner, Ace makes a quick spin on his feel and rams the sole of his boot into the River Dragon’s gut with a Rolling Sobat kick, doubling him over. Quickly wrapping his arms around Kibagami’s head, Lezaire sends him rolling to the mat with a quick Snapmare. Bounding into the ropes as soon as Kibagami sits up, trying to stand to his feet, Ace flies across the ring and slams both feet into Kibagami’s face with a basement Dropkick. Another sympathetic cry breaks from the fans as Kibagami’s head snaps back and Dustin and Dace can only look on and shout encouragement.

SIII-LENT!

SIII-LENT!

“What did I tell you about old and broken down Comet? Just look at the young Canadian Hope dismantling Kibagami right infront of our eyes!” Riley says gleefully.

Rolling over into a cover, just leaning over Kibagami’s chest, Ace just grins at the jeering fans as Hardcastle starts up the first count of the match.

……ONE!

…Kickout!

A fresh wave of cheers breaks out from the fans as Kibagami throws Ace clear and sits up, holding his head for a moment. Dace steps back into his corner, having been starting to run to break up the count. Flesher sneers at him form across the ring as Toxxic just laughs at the faces. Shaking his head and sweeping his hair back, Lezaire stands up and helps Kibagami back up to his feet…

CRACK!

The crowd explodes into a red hot pop as the Silent One’s leg flashes through the air and nails Ace in the side of the head. Stumbling backs, Ace tries not to fall other as a second kick drills into his head and almost knocks him over…

CRACK! THUD!

A third kick straight into the cocky Canadian’s face sends him down to the mat like a sack of brinks with a thud. Giving his head a final shake, the River Dragon turns to his corner, even as the Superior One dives through the ropes and heads straight for the River Dragon. Leaping his way, Hardcastle stops Flesher from attack Kibagami, much to the delight of the fans, but as Flesher yells abuse at the office, Toxxic ducks through the ropes and drags Ace’s body along the mat, back into their corner.

“Look at that! Tom Flesher went to attack Kibagami from behind as he goes to make the tag! What dastardly tactics from him.” Comet says indignantly.

“How about you look at the great move Flesher made, giving Toxxic chance to drag poor Ace Lezaire back into their corner to make the tag,” answers Riley.

Throwing up his hands, Flesher hops back through the ropes, only to lean out and tag in from a barely moving Ace Lezaire. Across the ring, Kibagami finally staggers across at tags in Horrorcore, to another pop from the fans as Dace moves forwards to meet Flesher in the middle of the ring again.

DACE! FLESHER SUCKS!

DACE! FLESHER SUCKS!

DACE! FLESHER SUCKS!

Throwing out a wave of Palm Strikes, Flesher tries to stun Night for a moment to make an opening for his offence. But just like in the UWF-I match, Dace takes a Shotei straight to the face before slapping Tom’s arms away and drilling him in the face with two sharp Elbow Smashes. Adding in a Knee Strike to double over the Superior One, Dace drags him into a Standing Headscissors and underhooks Flesher’s arm. Dragging Flesher up into the air, Dace flips him over and sits out, driving the Superior One with a Tiger Driver. Another pop burst up from the fans as they grow more and more excited!

WHAM!

“Tiger Driver on Citizen Flesher! Once again those Palm Strikes have almost no effect on Dace Night. It looks like Dace is turning the tide in this match now!” Comet shouts out.

Holding onto Flesher after driving him into the mat, Dace presses down with his weight as Referee Hardcastle slides in to start the count.

……ONE!

……TWO!

WHAM!

Diving across form his corner, Toxxic races across the ring and blasts Dace in the head with a kick to break up the pin fall.

“Not as long as he have good tag team partners like Toxxic around. Good man, show Dace what a real Brit is like.” Riley shouts on.

Ryan Dustin almost has to hold Kibagami back from attack leaping across the ring to attack the Straight Edger. Toxxic cockily walks back to his corner and shrugs at a look from Ace. Shaking his head, Dace rolls back to his feet and hauls the struggling Tom Flesher back to his feet. A razor sharp Elbow Smash cracks again the Superior One’s jaw before Horrorcore clamps on a Front Facelock. Grabbing a handful of Flesher’s singlet, Dace hauls him up into the air, holding him overhead for a few moments. Kicking his legs out, Dace drops back to the mat and spikes Flesher onto his neck with a Sheer Drop Brainbuster. Another pop rings out around the arena as Dace drags Flesher into his corner, leaving him parallel to the turnbuckles. Reacting out, Dace tags in Ryan Dustin.

“It looks like Citizen Night has the full measure of Tom Flesher in this match, it’s going to make for a very interesting final match on the Pay Per View. And here comes Ryan Dustin, he’s about to go head to head with the Superior One.” Comet calls.

“Head to head? He’s been standing on that ring apron craving a drink and he’s only come in after Dace has worked Flesher over for him. Damn, know I know what you feel like Comet.”

Night and Kibagami stomp on the apron, building up a roar from the crowd as Ryan Dustin steps into the ring, memories returning to him of the old days. Grinning, Dustin leaps onto the second turnbuckle before jumping up to the top rope and throwing himself backwards through then air. Twisting over in the air, Dustin brings his weight crashing down onto the prone body of Tom Flesher with a Double Jump Moonsault. A warm wave of cheers rings out from the fans, bringing a smile to Dustin’s face as he holds on for a cover.

……ONE!

……TWO!

WHAM!

But those cheers turn straight to boos as Ace Lezaire dives across the ring and smashes his fists into Dustin’s back, breaking up the cover. Hardcastle steps in and shoves Ace back towards his corner as Ryan crawls back to his feet and stomps on Flesher, keeping him down. Kicking Flesher clear of the ropes, the Real Deal hauls Tom up to his feet and shoves him back against the ropes, leaning back to launch him across the ring. Slamming the breaks on, Flesher shifts his momentum and twists around, sending the Real Deal flying across the ring into the ropes instead. Dashing across the apron, Ace shoots his knee through the ropes and cracks Dustin in the mat as he his the ropes. The boos and jeers grow even louder from the crowd as Dustin stumbles forwards.

ACE SUCKS!

ACE SUCKS!

ACE SUCKS!

“Looks like Ace Lezaire has been studying Tom Flesher closely. Cutting off Ryan Dustin like a true ring general. It’s too bad Toxxic doesn’t take part in this stuff more often you know.” Comments Riley.

“I think that’s the only thing I can admire about Citizen Toxxic right now. Ryan Dustin is trying to make a return to his days of all and they gain up on him,” Comet replies.

Staggering forwards, hauling his back, Dustin grits his teeth at the pain but it only gets worse as the Superior One comes crashing in. Throwing out a flurry of Shotei’s that crack against the Real Deal’s head, Flesher forces him back in the ropes, the blows working far better then against Dace Night. Almost knocking Dustin dizzy, Flesher brings his arm down into a vice like Front Facelock around Ryan’s neck. Dragging him backwards into the middle of the ring, Flesher twists his body and hauls Dustin across his shoulders, lifting him up into a Fireman’s Carry from the Front Facelock. Making a half twist in the middle of the ring, Flesher drops to his side and spikes Dustin neck first into the mat with a Death Valley Driver.

FLESHER SUCKS!

FLESHER SUCKS!

FLESHER SUCKS!

“That Facelock to DVD combo that Tom Flesher used against Dace Night in their first match pays off against Citizen Dustin. Ace’s interference turned the tide once again in this match up!” Comet shouts out.

“And it will be the last time that happens Comet. Just look at Kibagami, he’s about to snap and Toxxic is just itching to make him pay for it!” Riley shouts back.

The booing of the fans build up and up as Flesher swings his body over into a, hooking both of Dustin’s legs to make a cover.

……ONE!

……TWO!

……WHAM!

Racing across the ring, Kibagami drives the heel of his boot almost through the back of Flesher’s head as he breaks up the pin fall. Toxxic mockingly claps for the actions of the River Dragon, sneering at him from across the ring. Picking up the almost limp Real Deal, the Superior One loosely holds him in a Front Facelock as he drags him over into the corner and rams his head into the top turnbuckle. Reaching out, Flesher tags out to the Straight Edger, watching the younger egomaniac carefully. Pulling Ryan out for the corner in a Double Facelock, Flesher and Toxxic throw their bodies down into the mat, spiking Dusting with a Double DDT. Rolling over, Toxxic floats straight into a cover.

……ONE!

……TWO!

…WHAM!

SIII-LENT!

SIII-LENT!

Once again, Kibagami leaps in to break up the count. As Toxxic stands up, shaking himself off, he stares straight at the River Dragon. The two lock eyes and look ready to rip into each other in the middle of the ring.

SIII-LENT!

SIII-LENT!

SSIIIIIIIII-LLLLEEENNNNNTTTT!

SSSSSIIIIIIIII-LLLLLLLLEEEEENNNNNNNTTTTTT!

“Toxxic and Flesher are isolating Ryan Dustin in the corner and working him over, picking off the weakest member of the team. Ryan Dustin may be an old hand at this time, but I don’t think he’s gotten rid of all that ring rust yet,” says Comet.

“Look at Kibagami, that damn broken down drug user. He’s interfering when he’s not legal and he’s about to jump Toxxic in the middle of the ring!” Shouts Riley.

Bbbbbbbbbbbbooooooooooooooooo!

A massive round of boos breaks out from the fans as Hardcastle forces Kibagami back into his corner as Toxxic flips him the v sign and turns his attention back to Ryan Dustin. The Real Deal slowly rolls to his feet and starts to stand up, only to be caught in the face by a European Uppercut from the Straight Edger, snapping his head back. Ducking his body, Toxxic takes his turn to haul Dustin up into a Fireman’s Carry, ignoring the booing from the Gund Arena crowd. Throwing Dustin’s body off from his shoulders, Toxxic drop to one knee and drives the Real Deal face first into his knee. Keeping his arm locked around Ryan’s head, Toxxic leaps back to both feet before snapping straight back with an Evenflow DDT.

SIII-LENT!

SIII-LENT!

“Toxxic just planted Dustin with that modified version of the Sobering Thought. Dustin is getting run over by the younger Toxxic.” Comet yells.

“And that will each the damn alcoholic to try and get back in the ring. Why the hell did we even hire him in the first place?” Riley questions with a sneer.

SIII-LENT!

SIII-LENT!

Ignoring the haunting chant that echoes around the arena from the fans, the Straight Edger rolls over into a cover, cradling Dustin’s leg back over his body as Hardcastle dives in for the count.

……ONE!

……TWO!

…WHAM!

This time it’s Dace who races across the ring and slams his body into the Straight Edger to break up the cover on the Real Deal. Scrambling back up to his feet, Toxxic flips Dace off as Hardcastle shoves Horrorcore back into his corner. Yelling over Hardcastle’s shoulder, Toxxic throws insults at Kibagami. Seeing the ref’s back turn, Ace grabs the ropes and slingshots himself up into the air. Rolling through the air, the Canadian Hope comes crossing down back first on Dustin with a Slingshot Senton, drawing out an even louder hail of booing from the fans, even as he poses for a moment in the ring.

“Oh that was beautiful, perfectly time Slingshot Senton from Ace Lezaire, Toxxic distracts the ref and Team Flesher kicks it into gear again. The boy is becoming a great ring general, I tell you Comet,” Riley says with a little too much enthusiasm.

Turning back to Dustin, Toxxic sees him barely able to stand up. Diving forwards, Toxxic throws his legs out as he slides along the mat and drives both his feet into the side of Dustin’s head with a sliding Scorer Tackle that sends him sprawling along the mat. Wave after wave of jeers rain down on the Straight Edger as he rolls back to his feet and reaches back into his corner, tagging in the Canadian Hope as Tom Flesher just stands there and golf claps at the action in the ring.

“In comes Citizen Lezaire again into this match, and Team Flesher isn’t letting Ryan Dusting get anywhere near his corner, they’re just cutting the ring in half here!” Comet shouts.

Leaping over the ropes into the bring, Ace cross the ring in a shot leap, grabbing hold of Dustin and hauling him back towards the corner of Team Flesher. Slamming a kick into the mid section of the Real Deal, Dustin drags him into a Standing Headscissors and wraps his arms around his waist. Hauling Dustin all the way up onto his shoulders, Ace pauses for just a moment before sending Dustin crashing down into the mat and doubling straight over into a cover.

WHAM!

……ONE!

……TWO!

….WHAM!

“Powerbomb on Dustin! Kibagami breaks up the count again!”

Roaring in rage, Dace leaps off the apron and races around the ring and onto the apron in the corner off team Flesher. In the ring, Ace grabs Hardcastle and spins him around, yelling at him about the count. Dace charges along the apron to attack Flesher, but the Superior One shoves his foot out and straight into Dace’s groin. Grabbing him around the waist, Flesher snaps backwards on the apron, launching Dace overhead and all the way down, down, down to the cold, hard floor.

THUD!

Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

“RAILGUN SUPLEX FROM THE APRON! Dace went to try and make a break for Ryan Dustin but Flesher cut him off and just drove him onto the floor!” Comet screams out over the crowd.

“Now that’s a real master of the ring Comet and don you ever forget it!” Riley yells back joyfully.

Finally releasing the ref, Ace turns his attention back to the Real Deal, only to get drilled in the jaw by a desperation Done Deal Superkick…

CRACK! Yyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

The fans explode as Ace topples back into the mat, his eyes rolled back up into his head. Dustin collapses to the mat long side him. Hardcastle stands over both men and starts to count, as Kibagami beats on the top turnbuckle, whipping the crowd up into a frenzy.

STOMP! STOMP! ONE!

STOMP! STOMP! TWO!

DUSTIN!

DUSTIN!

DUSTIN!

THREE!

STOMP! STOMP! FOUR!

DUSTIN!

DUSTIN!

DUSTIN!

FIVE!

As both men slowly roll over, starting the long crawl from the ring towards their corners. Leaning as far through the ropes as he can manage, Kibagami reaches out to try and tag the Real Deal. Toxxic grabs the tag rope and almost falls over the ropes trying to reach out and make the tag to Lezaire.

“A desperation reversal from Dustin, all those old skills coming into play here. It may have just saved the match for his team!” Comet shouts over the crowd.

Rrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

The crowd explodes into a white hot mass of popping energy as Dustin finally tags hands with the River Dragon. Ace slaps hands with Toxxic just a second latter and two hatred filled men charge across the ring towards each other.

SSSSIIIIIIIIIIIII-LLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEENNNNNNNTTTTTTTTTT!

WHAM!

Toxxic runs straight into a Burning Lariat that smashes him from his feet and leaves him flopping around on the mat like a fish out of water. Ace tries to scramble back into the action but a huge kick from the Silent One demolishes him like an old building. Spinning on his heels, Kibagami sees Flesher coming and launches his hand out through the air…

SMACK! SMACK!

Nailing him with a Rolling Chop then spinning the other way and nailing him with a second one sends Flesher stumping around like a drunken man. Grabbing Flesher by his arm, Kibagami twists around and sends Flesher flying over his shoulder and down into the amt with an Ippon Seionage throw.

“Kibagami is cleaning house! He just took out every member of Team Flesher in one go! Even with Citizen Night still out cold on the floor after that Belly to Belly from the apron.” Comet yells.

SIII-LENT!

SIII-LENT!

SIII-LENT!

After the string of white pop, volcano like pops the crowd settles down into it’s normal haunting chants as the Silent One stalks back over to the still downed Straight Edger. Grabbing him by the hair, Kibagami roughly pulls him into sitting position before blasting him in the face with a kick…

CRACK!

…Before dragging him to his feet and sending a kick crashing into his chest. Sending Toxxic staggering backwards, Kibagami leaps into the air and sends his foot sailing through the air, drilling it into Toxxic’s face with a skull smashing Gamengiri. Leaping back to his feet, Kibagami grabs Toxxic again and wrenches him up to his feet. Standing in the middle of the ring and forces him into a Standing Headscissors. Underhooking both of Toxxic’s arms, Kibagami looks around for a moment as the fans explode like a bomb again.

Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

“DEMONSTAR! Kibagami is going to end Toxxic right now!” Screams Comet.

“NO! Come on Flesher, get up and save Toxxic, come one!” Riley screams out.

Racing back to his feet, his head still half groggy, Flesher goes barrelling into Kibagami at full speed, just as he starts to lift Toxxic up into the air…

SMACK!

FUCK FLESHER!

FUCK FLESHER!

FUCK FLESHER!

…The Running Palm Strikes sends Kibagami thudding into the mat like an old oak tree as Toxxic sprawls out on the mat, clutching at his face. Rolling Toxxic on top of the Silent One’s body, Flesher dives out of the ring, leaving Hardcastle with nothing to do but count the fall.

……ONE!

……TWO!

….THR-NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

SSSSIIIIIIIII-LLLLLLLEEEEEENNNNNNNTTTTTTTTT!

SSSSIIIIIIIII-LLLLLLLEEEEEENNNNNNNTTTTTTTTT!

SSSSIIIIIIIII-LLLLLLLEEEEEENNNNNNNTTTTTTTTT!

The chants sound like the death cry of a monster as each and every single person in the crowd lets out the cry at the top of their lungs, egging on the River Dragon. On the outside, Dace Night finally starts to stir, clutching at his back and grunting in pain.

“Kibagami kicked out again! Is nothing going to end this match up?” Cries Comet.

Slowly climbing back up to his feet, Toxxic look down at Kibagami as he starts to climb back to his feet. Surging forwards to meet the Slaughter head on, Toxxic sends a flurry of European Uppercuts into Kibagami’s jaw, snapping his head back over and over. Climbing up onto the apron, using it to support himself, Dace looks on into the ring. Ace Lezaire finally struggles back to his feet into his corner, while across the ring the Real Deal slumps over the ropes, chanting on for Kibagami all he can.

“Come on Toxxic, finish off that drug abuser once and for all. Do the world a favour!” Riley calls out.

Spinning Kibagami around, Toxxic ducks his head between Kibagami’s legs and starts to stand up as a black hole of sheer hatred opens up in the crowd and spends on an near deafening wave of cheers. Scrambling under the ropes, Dace races into the ring as Toxxic lifts Kibagami up into the air…

“DANGERLUST! KIBAGAMI’S GONNA DIE!” Riley screams out.

…racing forwards at full speed, Dace throws his leg up and drills Toxxic straight in the face as he gets Kibagami all the way up into the air. Ace leaps in the ring, but Ryan Dustin follows him in, cutting Lezaire off and diving pasting, taking the Canadian down to the mat with The Real Deal Neckbreaker. Toxxic collapse to the floor under the weight on his shoulders and the face crushing Yakuza Kick from Dace Night. Flesher desperately dives into the ring, but Dace dives into him with a Double Leg Takedown…

“NO! YAKUZA KICK FROM DACE! Dustin cuts Ace off with the Real Deal! Dace tackles Flesher down!” Comet roars.

As Kibagami’s body just collapse over Toxxic’s unmoving form, Hardcastle slides in for the count. Dustin rolls Ace out of the ring, as Dace turns over and sits back, locking Tom Flesher in the Torture Crab at the end of the ring as Hardcastle counts…

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

DING! DING! DING!

“It’s over! Kibagami pins Toxxic and it’s finally over!” Comet yells out, almost jumping up.

SSSSIIIIIIIII-LLLLLLLEEEEEENNNNNNNTTTTTTTTT!

SSSSIIIIIIIII-LLLLLLLEEEEEENNNNNNNTTTTTTTTT!

“Only because Dace Night bloody interfered from the outside!” Riley says in disgust.

“But how is this going to effect things going into the 13th Hour? Kibagami versus Toxxic in a Last Man Standing, Dace versus Flesher in the final of the Best of Five!”

And as the carnage in the ring finally ends, the camera focuses in on Dace Night, still holding Tom Flesher in the Torture Crab. Slamming his hand into the mat in, Flesher screams in pain as the camera fades out.
