I realise they're pushing Ruckus and the like but given the lineup of the tourney having 4 matches that involve Ruckus seems like such a waste of talent (not saying he's really bad or anything - just fairly repetitive)

 

Theres some really interesting possible matchups and everything seems a little more uncertain than previous years which makes it more fun.

I smell more Teddy bullshit, he has a shitty streak of pulling out of shows due to injurys and such, 2 USA pro show, that FLA tourny and now CZW. my guess is he was jobbin in round 1 or 2

Well, Teddy HAS been spending tons of times at bars as of late, according to Chasyn Rance's online journals. So, it's definitely possible. And like someone said, with his arrogant attitude, it's especially likely.

I'd say screw Hotstuff Hernandez and put Chris Hero in Teddy Hart's spot. Chris Hero vs. Homicide vs. Trent Acid=Awesome, Chris Hero vs. Homicide=Awesome, Chris Hero vs. Trent Acid=Awesome.

Red or Low Ki should be used to fill the remaining spot, that way you could make reval that it was one of them who stole sonjays belt when they face him in the finals.

 

I may be one of the few but i think a Hotstuff/Hero match can be decent. Hotstuff is a very good power worker and Hero is god so i think it will all work out

Don't limit yourself and think all CZW is garbage however. BOTB2 is one of my favorite indy shows.....they wrestle.....you just have to look for it.

Also, get Overdrive and Retribution, those are incredible wrestling shows. Don't judge CZW based on stereotypes from 3 years ago, the product is COMPLETELY different now.

My problem is still lack of funds. My priorities right now are RoH, Puro and then trying to find other indies I like. But I will try to check out some CZW in the future.

Well, the lack of Teddy killed basically any angles for the show, it'll mostly just be straight wrestling. The only other angle is "who stole Sonjay's belt," which they've been teasing on and off for months. Also, they're kinda sorta building Trent Acid toward a World title feud with Messiah (who won't be there) but it's iffy if they're going to advance that at this show.

 

Two matches are also in the Xtreme Strong Style tournament, basically CZW's version of the Field of Honor. Chris Hero (CZW Iron Man Champion), who is doing a "smart mark/savior of CZW" gimmick, is facing former Wildside champion Hotstuff Hernandez, while Nick Gage is against Dan Maff.

 

No word on Teddy's replacement yet. I'm guessing either Jack Evans or TJ Wilson.

 

Sandman9000 doesn't post here anymore because he disagrees very heavily with the recent changes here, both to the board and the main site and basically doesn't want to be bothered anymore.

Thanks Jay- it's a shame about Sandman. I always enjoyed his posts on CZW in this folder.

 

I really hope the replacement is Jack Evans. I've only seen one match of TJ's and wasn't very impressed. I always enjoy watching Jack in the ring and I think Jack v. Cide v. Acid could be a great match.
